No. 246 is delicious! I have been looking for good Italian in ATL for quiet some time and this is just enough but not requiring a whole bag of leftovers at the end of the night. The staff is super friendly and has made two great recommendations that past times I have been. I highly recommend Agnolotto famagi al limone if you like something light and lemony.
Great food! Farm fresh Italian with pasta made in house. Caesar dressing was fantastic. Most restaurants rarely get that right. Wood fired Pizza was fantastic. Only complaint was the bartender. She ignored us for 10 min so I finally went down to the other end of the bar and she was just rude for no reason. Makes us hesitant to return.
Excellent service from Patrick (I believe that was his name), food was superb. Overall amazing experience!
Our waiter Patrick was fantastic and accommodating, the food was great, and the atmosphere is fantastic for a date night. We came for our anniversary and they made a few small nice touches that made our night. We'll be back again.
Really delicious food and good service. We ate outside
Once again, the best meal in town! Food was amazing and Russell gave us the incredible service that we always get from him!!
This was one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at in Georgia! The server Chris was exceptional and the food was delicious from appetizers to dessert! I will be back for sure! Make a reservation
Service was outstanding. We had the Chicken Marsala for two. It was a little bland this time around, but the pasta and mushrooms were incredible. The cocktails and wine were also delicious. Russell made the night a lot of fun. Great experience overall.
One of our favorite places to go! Delicious food, kid-friendly and reasonably priced!
Best Italian in Atlanta hands down
The food and service were excellent. The music was TOO LOUD. With servers wearing masks (thank you), it was difficult to understand them with the loud music. It also made conversation challenging.
What a lovely experience! I chose 246 for a friend's birthday dinner and everything from the service to the pasta was incredible. I really appreciated them having non-alcoholic drinks that were actually yummy for this pregnant person. We sat outside in a lovely seating area that made the whole experience feel special. I cannot recommend them enough for a special meal!
This was absoultey spectacular! The food and cocktailers were amazing and the service was incredible! We had such a wonderful time and will absolutely be going back many more times!
The peach dish was amazing. Food was fresh and good. Pasta was really good but the meatballs and the chicken Marsala dish had way too much salt. If they would back off of the salt I would have given them 5 stars.
This was the best meal we've had since traveling to Italy in 2019. Our server, Casey, was excellent and had great food and drink recommendations. I can't wait to go back!
This was one of the best Italian meals I’ve eaten in Atl. My husband and I were there for our anniversary dinner. Every bite of food was delicious, from the bread and olive oil for the table to the delectable dessert (blueberry basil sorbet- amazing). We had the Cesar and the meatball appetizer, and every bite was better than the next. My husband and I almost couldn’t eat the chicken Marsala. Cocktails were also great- old fashioned on the ball. Can’t wait to go again and try everything else on the menu.
This is one our fav places in ATL as well as chef Ford fry places. As always - great food. Only thing we noticed is that they have changed their pasta provider or recipe- the texture of the spaghetti was not same as pre pandemic
Fantastic experience!! Ford Fry never ceases to amaze me!!
We started with the bruschetta, split the chicken marsalla for two, and finished it off with the chocolate pudding cake. We were absolutely stuffed by the end and had to bring some of the entree home with us, but it was all delicious and was perfect for "Italian comfort food." Our waiter, Zach, was incredibly personable, fun to talk to, and made great recommendations. Covid protocols were safely in place and it was a great experience overall.
Food, service, drinks were good.
Was very disappointed to learn that 246 no longer offers whole grilled shrimp with the Cacio y Pepe as we have had many times before. The waiter informed us that ALL shrimp are now ground.
Very disappointing as this was one of our favorite dishes.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. I answered quiet to the noise as we were outside and I know that the inside is pretty noisy so showing that out there. I love eating outside, even pre-covid and the outside space at 246 is very nice. We ordered the Flounder Piccata and while it was fantastic, I do think it should come with a small portion of pasta or some bread to soak up the delicious butter sauce in the pan. We loved the Chicken Piccata they used to have on the menu and went quite often to get that, which we shared between three people along with appetizers, salad and dessert, always, but since they switched to Chicken Marsala, we have stopped going because I just do not like the Marsala and so sad the Piccata is not on the menu anymore. So...while I absolutely loved the Flounder, I was disappointed it was not more like the previous Piccata with some nice noodles in the sauce, even if it would mean a higher price tag. The black pasta with shrimp (not sure of the correct name) was also great, as was the simple salad (it was mostly arugula right now which I love), the meatball (one of our all-time favorites) and the Creme Brûlée, not to mention my Pins cup, which I also love to get here, as they do nice varieties so well.
Had a wonderful double date with my in-laws! Food and service were both exceptional (thanks Michael!). Baked ricotta is a must and the agnolotti was delicious.
Everything was on point. Perfect outdoor dining experience. Staff was amazing and of course everything was delicious.
We had the best experience at no.246 last night. We went to celebrate a birthday and the server, Peter, read or notes in the comments and had a birthday card and two glasses of champagne at the table when we arrived. His service made us feel special! The food was incredible. We enjoyed the meatball, baked ricotta, Caesar salad, and pork ragu.
Great food, excellent service. Still dreaming of the black spaghetti.
Always fantastic experience! Great food, great service. Pricey- so good for a special occasion.
Another great dinner with friends at 246! Michael our server was outstanding as usual! He goes above and beyond to make the evening special. Everything was delicious but especially loved the fresh Georgia peaches!
Excellent food! Squid ink spaghetti (comes with shrimp) and bolognese dishes excellent! Nice drinks too!
Three of us enjoyed a delicious dinner in a beautiful outdoor setting while celebrating a friends birthday. Our server was fantastic!
outside seating on the porch requires a note on the reservation otherwise they will sit you outside out from under the porch on a community table.
Great dinner with friends last night at 246! This has become our favorite place to eat in Decatur! The food and wine were excellent, but what really sets this place apart is their service! Michael was our server again last night and he is amazing! He remembered us from last time and even had a bottle of our favorite wine on the table when we arrived. Cant wait to eat there again on Saturday!
Food and service was so amazing!!! We had a wonderful evening
Amazing meal, impeccable service. I highly recommend this restaurant. Food is so fresh and well done. Small menu, but you will find something perfect.
We have loved No. 246 since 2011. It is awesome! Everything about it is top notch! Will be a favorite forever!
Honestly maybe my favorite spot in Atlanta. Once again the service KILLED. Friendly and accommodating. The good was *chefs kiss* fresh - this may sound weird but you know you’re at a great spot where the quality lettuce gets discussed at the table. And it was a lively conversation about how crisp fresh and delicious it was. Can’t wait to be back soon.
Got the spaghetti and meatballs for 2. First, you can easily feed 3 or 4. The meatballs were extremely salty and were unable to be eaten by both of us. The 3rd party enjoyed their different meal, but concurred with the saltiness with ours. Staff was very nice.
Very good food and service. The menu is a bit limited but the dishes are good. The pudding cake is fantastic.
I enjoyed our meal! The meatball and burrata were a great start. The Bolognese was a tasty entree!
