Great Italian food. Excellent customer service as well. Like the atmosphere and so easy to get to.
Food and service were quite good, but the noise level detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal.
Food was decent not great. Nice waiter. Too loud for our tastes
Disappointed that you took that amazing ravioli off the menu! The lamb pasta dish was too gamey for my taste but everything else including the carrots and service were fantastic.
Food was not bad. Nothing about the dishes were noteworthy though.
Our party had one added at the last minute. The staff went out of their way to accommodate the addition. The drinks and food were outstanding.
Great server and delicious food!
Excellent as always!
I am in Atlanta visiting from New York City and unfortunately I base all of the restaurants against New York City‘s food. I thought 246 restaurant is a good value with good food and very good service for the neighborhood
This could be my new favorite restaurant in the ATL area. The meatball, black spaghetti pasta, and lamb Bolognese were stand outs. I appreciate that they let you do half portions so you can try more. And, they have a small, but nice wine by the glass list.
Everything was creative but I thought the pastas were a tad too lemony.
Had never been and I took out of town era to get me there. But loved it. Upscale dining but welcomes casual diners. Best Italian I’ve had in town.
NOISY. Inflexible when we requested to sit at a better table, even though many tables were empty. The table that is right in the entryway to the main room is terrible--constant traffic all around you and regular blasts of cold air from the front door.
Great service and food. We had a dietary restriction which they happily accommodated. Nice people and great food. Can’t beat that.
Love this restaurant and have been multiple times. However, the last two times all of the dishes have been over-salted. Happened again this week.
Nice restaurant in charming Decatur Square. Decor is hip and pleasant. Our server, Adriana, was personable and very nice. We were six and noise level was energetic. Would be nice to have a round table when that many, but it was fine. Food was creative and good. Bread crispy. Mushroom appetizer tasty. I had the Ricotta Mezzaluna. It was ok, but a little on the salty side. Tasted the chicken cacciatore which was better. Those who had the black spaghetti were pleased. Will consider returning if in the vicinity.
From start to end our experience at No.246 was amazing! The hostess, Chloe was so accommodating and pleasant. Food was amazing and our server Zack was so knowledgeable and attentive. We will definitely be back
I love 246!!! Have been several times and it’s always perfect❤️
My review speaks for itself, but monitor OpenTable rewards. This is the second time at this restaurant the hostess has not done whatever they are supposed to do to make sure the customer receives awards points. And yes, I did check the box when I made the reservation.
Lovely, creative food. Great service. Perfect spot!
The Italian experience here was amazing. The service, drinks, and food were divine. Definitely will be back again!!
Great food. Great service. Will definitely return!
Great food !
The black spaghetti and lamb bolognese were amazing!
I definitely recommend trying 246. I have been here numerous times and the service is typically top notch and the food is always delicious.
Made a special request for a specific table when I made the reservation... it was ignored and I had to remind the hostess. It appeared as though the server had too many tables as we had to ask other staff to refill coffee, he never brought sweetener to the table with original round of coffee, nor did he ask...we got it from another server, we asked for pepper for our Carbonara and it never showed. He would go away and never come back. We had wave the credit card in the air to get our check. This is our 3rd visit... might be the last.
Excellent food and great ambiance for a birthday/valentine dinner!
Great intimate environment with amazing food. Their variety of dishes allows for your pallet to be satisfied, but yet intrigued by the taste. Cocktails are up to par as well. Highly recommend.
We have been going to no 246 for Valentine's Day for quite a few years now. It is a tradition that my husband and I have. In fact, we go to no. 26 for several special occasions. This time, our experience was particularly lackluster. The first course was rough -- the cold, salty, fishy lobster bisque was the first turn-off. For the second and third courses, the various waitresses brought out the wrong dishes -- twice. We were told by one of the waitresses that a manager would be by to speak to us. That never happened. Someone walked by quickly and dropped off another wrong dish. When they finally brought out our correct dishes, everything was cold and unenjoyable. Because of our proximity to other guests (the place was packed for Valentine's Day), we didn't want to keep complaining, especially because it seemed everyone in the restaurant was just too busy to care. However, the people sitting t our left and our right were both complaining about their experience. They also received the wrong food (and everyone complained about the fishy lobster bisque). Service was dry and inadequate. The food was mediocre at best. The experience left much to be desired. This was a disheartening experience, and my husband and I don't plan to return for any more of our special occasions. It seems the new management misses the mark completely.
Mind blowingly delicious. Had a 4 course meal for two and was floored at how good the food really was. Would rate 14/10 if possible. If you’re still on the fence about going, then you should just go to McDonalds and then cry about your life choices afterwards.
Absolutely fantastic. I have been living in the Atlanta area for two years now and during that time I have visited (and frequented) some of the top restaurants in the area. I find that "no. 246" has now taken the top spot on my list of "must dine at restaurants" in Atlanta.
no. 246 has my highest recommendation
nicely prepared and presented items. The pasta was delicious. Service great
Ariana was amazing!! Chef Dave is the best!! They both made our anniversary unforgettable.
This had previously been my favorite restaurant in ATL. The food is phenomenal. I had previously only been with my parents. I went with my bf to celebrate Valentine's Day two days early as we were busy that day and noted this on the reservation. On a prior occasion, we celebrated my mother's birthday, and they were great about it. However, this time we were not even asked if we were celebrating anything despite it being two days before valentine's day and us being an obvious couple. We would not have cared, except out waitress was very involved with helping the couple next to us celebrate the entire night. She then brought me the wrong drink, and when I pointed out that this was not the drink I had ordered, she did not immediately offer to get the correct one. Then at the end of the meal, when we went to pay, she never brought back the credit card. We were waiting for almost an hour. No one came on to check on us or anything, yet it was VERY clear that the waitress was talking to fellow staff members about how we hadn't left yet, as they kept looking at us from across the room. Each time they looked at us, we tried to get their attention, but it did not work. It was only after she brought the check to another costumer that she realized she still had the credit card with her. It was honestly terrible to be treated so disrespectfully on such an important night. This did not match the service I get when I come with my parents, nor the service the older couple next to us received from our same waitress. This place clearly treats young people without respect and was just disappointing because I loved this restaurant.
No. 246 has always been a good time for my wife and me. We first went there on the recommendation of a friend for Valentine's Day 2019 and fell in love from the experience. We went back to celebrate an early Valentine's Day and our dating anniversary, which happened within a week of Valentine's Day. Casey was our waiter this time and was one of the most charming, personable, and professional waiters we've had the pleasure of meeting. The food was cooked to perfection, the flavors of the meals exquisitely balanced, and the drink recommendations did not disappoint. For those that are on the fence about checking this place out, in the words of Shia LaBeouf, "Just Do It!"
Katie was an exceptional host and could not have been more accommodating for our birthday dinner. So happy we went and will be back again for sure.
Went there for my wife's birthday. Everything was really good! A bit noisy, but we did go at a peak time, so what are ya gonna do? Definitely a fun place to eat and hang with friends!
This was great food, and even better service - hope to be able to visit again!!
Love the food at 246! My friend from NYC also loved her pasta. Always excellent and I will be back. I also love that they are dog friendly.
Food and service was amazing as always. One of our favorite diving experiences in atl
