    Food was fantastic. Manager was great, as was the service generally, except for the hostess, who had a nasty attitude and should be let go. The restaurant is some of the best Italian in ATL, if not the best. Fire the hostess and it’s 5 stars all around.

    Food was very greasy and oily. The prosciutto Parma was a bunch of sliced meat on a plate, no attempt at presentation. Chicken “scallopine” should be very thin sliced pieces of chicken yet ours were whole chicken breasts, had I known this I would have ordered something else. My chicken also appeared to be floured and sautéed on only one side. Place appears to be pretending at being an authentic Italian restaurant but fails. Server was also obnoxious and condescending.

    Best food ever! I had the stuffed macaroni with limone sauce, it was divine! My boys all enjoyed their meals as well. Very talented chefs! Our waitress was the best. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave comparisons in answer to our questions, so we could choose according to our mood. And everything was spot on!! DELICIOUS. I’ve already told family about it. I don’t think there is anything on the menu that we wouldn’t have liked.

    We loved the bread and Sunday gravy that they serve when you first sit down. For our main meals we got the chicken parmesan with a side of pasta and the tagliatelle Bolognese. Both were amazing! This is the first Italian restaurant we've enjoyed since moving to Atlanta from NYC so we will definitely be back to try more things, and 10/10 would recommend this restaurant to other!

    Please visit! You definitely will not regret it! It's worth the drive...well at least for us...we drive from Chattanooga TN. This last visit we had Joy as our waiter...such an amazing young woman. Thank you!

    Delicious Italian food presented in a warm, comfortable environment. Our server, Justin, was attentive without being intrusive. He helped with descriptions and menu selections. Being able to make a reservation made this our dinner choice in Decatur even though there are SO many amazing places to choose from. We will be back!

    The service was amazing. We had a reservation, and was seated immediately. The prices are what I’d expect for the market, but the food is average, at best. I’ve had better calamari at chain restaurants. If you want a place with a nice ambience and good service, this is it. If you’re looking for good food, maybe not so much.

    From the moment we walked in the service was incredible. The hostess was gracious and kind after having endured a pushy woman that didn’t have a reservation and a line of people building up behind her. Our server Rachel was so windy and educated on the entire menu. The food was out of this world and we can’t wait to go back.

    Today, poorly trained staff and poor execution of their dining plan has become all too common at many restaurants. But no.246 has decided NOT to follow the trend. From the moment we stepped through the doors of no. 246, I knew this would be an exceptional dinning experience. My husband and I were promptly greeted by a pleasant hostess. After giving my name, she quickly escorted us to a table outside, which indicates they actually had an accurate record of our reservation. Pleasant surprise! I describe the restaurant’s ambience as upscale-chic without being pretentious. Most of the diners seemed to blend well with this description. Service was impeccable without being rushed. The food was excellent, as was the wine suggested by the waiter. Now I understand why we had to make reservations two weeks in advance.

    Sat at a 2-top in the bar area, which ended up being the perfect atmosphere for a fun date for my wife and me. Insalate Verde, Burrata, Rigatoni Vodka, and Agnolotti were all delicious and plenty for two. Bar was excellent as always, the best in Decatur.

    The Chef's Counter experience at no.246 was life-changing. What a treat to watch your meals go from prep to plate. The food was SO flavorful and fresh. We opted in with the wine parings and they were perfect! The only sad part is we fell in love with dishes that probably won't appear on the regular menu. But it is a risk we would gladly take again. The staff was lovely. The setting was intimate. The counter has 4 seats that made it easy to either engage with another couple or keep to ourselves. Watching the chefs was fascinating. The experience overall was noteworthy. Wish I could give 6 stars.

    We had a great experience at No 246. the garlic bread was amazing and our entrees were fabulous. The service was great. I would highly recommend dining here! My only complaint was it was a little noisy inside

    Authentic Italian cooking with great selection of wines. Love this restaurant. Ate here two nights in a row. Always a favorite when we visit relatives in Georgia.
