Great food with an outstanding service. Matt our waiter, was amazing! Thank you Matt and keep up the great work!
Great for a date night! Atmosphere is very nice and mellow. Good food and good service. A little pricey, but overall a good choice!
The all round best restaurant on the east side of Atlanta. Consistently fantastic over the years.
Wonderful place, but too loud to hear our dinner guests without shouting and straining.
This is my family's go-to restaurant for a special occasion when we want Italian food. While it's a little noisier than I would prefer, the food and service are some of the best I've ever had. It's my favorite pasta in metro Atlanta, and definitely the best in Decatur. The cocktail menu is fun, and the wine selection is broad enough to offer good pairings with any of the delicious food.
Always wonderful! My go-to place for any night out!
Pasta dish was an unpleasant experience. The pasta both the black and white were too thick and tough. Very chewy!!
We have to sit outside at 246 because inside is too loud for following a conversation. But in good weather, the porch is wonderful and very serene. The food and service are great.
The service and staff are outstanding..while i didnt like the appearance of the black spaghetti which was probably delicious they changed it to a good another selection with no issues. I ended up with another meatball(delicious by the way) and a salad. So yummy!
best italian food in atlanta! it was my first time going there and they exceeded all expectations
It took us a while for anyone to come to the table and offer water, etc. Our waiter was hustling, I just think he may have had too many tables. Food was great, just ordered too much. Also, I noted that it was our Anniversary and no one acknowledged it. Not a big deal, but kinda disappointing. Overall we had a good experience.
Overall the food was creative and delicious and the service was very attentive making the entire experience very enjoyable. The noise level did get a little too high making it difficult to have a conversation with my dinner guests.
Food was good, but not up to previous standards. We had a very long wait and the pasta dish was dry like it had been sitting for awhile.
Great brunch with friends, food is delicious, service is on point.
Second time back and was just ok. Pasta while made fresh was too al Dente, service slow and not very busy.
Great food great service. I will defiantly be back.
Love the ambiance there. Food was excellent and that was for all 5 of us who were there.
Meh, I’ve had much better authentic and “locally influenced” Italian food at much better prices. Service was great, but the cost of the food far outweighs the taste. Probably won’t be back as there are many other and better options. Came here to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary... we will have a redo somewhere else.
I loved the food in general. I think the baked Ricotta could use some more flavor, and the flavors of the salmon Benedict didn't really add up nicely (salmon and caper saltiness overpowered the hollandaise). The ricotta fritters were amazing, though almost a third of them were very hard and/or had no cheese in them. The ones that did though were probably the most delicious I've ever had. The cornbread was great, and the berry crostata was a fantastic end to the meal. The dish that won the night was the squid ink pasta - absolutely amazing.
Service from Neil? was exceptional. He took time to personalize our experience and we thoroughly enjoyed his attention. Food was very good (simple but delicious). We will definitely be back!
must get the baked ricotta - my fave! Delicious dinner, great service. Enjoyed celebrating my daughters birthday.
The food here is top notch -- very creative in terms of ingredients and combinations while sticking to the tried and true flavors you expect from high-quality Italian food. Our server was very attentive too and the staff works collaboratively to ensure your food is delivered when ready from the kitchen. The only reason I gave the overall rating of four stars (rather than 5) is based on what we felt to be an odd choice in seating. We went on a Monday night when the restaurant was not quite half full, yet we were seated at a two-top in between two other occupied two-tops. Totally understand this when a restaurant is full or nearly full, but we were there for 1.5 hours and the restaurant never got more than half full. There were plenty of other seating options that would not have felt so cramped on a night when the restaurant had the seating options available.
We were treated royally on our 40th anniversary and enjoyed a sumptuous meal. very good food and wine in an ambience that balances vibe and quiet, modernist chic and rustic. We always enjoy 246.
I had Shrimp and grits but did not look at the ingredients would not have ordered it if I knew they had dates in it. Ordered cornbread for the table as an appetizer it came out like a piece of cake. So if you’re looking for traditional Italian or southern food just understand it has their flair add it to the dishes.
246 has become our go to restaurant to celebrate any occasion. It never disappoints, the food and service are always top notch.
Best restaurant ever — the service, food and atmosphere are perfect.
Great meal and perfect location for those in Emory area. Pizza, meatballs, buratta all great. Serbice very good and will go back.
Everything from the beginning to the end was phenomenal. The server was outstanding and the food was great.
Always a great meal here, I always bring visitors here for a sure bet! Zach was friendly and attentive, dinner and drinks were delicious!
It has gone down hill. Is there a new chef? Menu and flavor used to be more authentic.
Excellent quality. Great staff. I love this restaurant and have never had an off meal at No. 246
I've been 3 times and no. 246 has been outstanding every time. The service is top notch. You can't beat the hand-made pastas. Highly recommend the baked ricotta for an appetizer.
This place was dope, we got three entrees for two of us and it was all amazing. Also the bread crust tastes like peanut butter?? Probably the seeds but we loved it.
We enjoyed our anniversary dinner at No. 246. The atmosphere is modern/urban, the noise level was moderate, the service was great, the menu and food were very good. The menu had seasonal and unique selections. Overall we had a great experience and will visit again.
No 246 exemplifies a great restaurant with excellent food and customer service. We had reservations at 6pm and sat down immediately. Ordered drinks and dinner and about 15 minutes later, the power went out in the whole Decatur area. We luckily got our food just before this happened so they brought it out and we ate in the candlelight. Matt, our server (ask for him), was fantastic, super attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The Managers were excellent as well as they tried to manage the situation, the customers and getting everybody their food. We had some of the best pasta ever as we had 3 half pasta dishes. It was a very memorable anniversary in so many ways! I can't recommend No 246 enough for a night out or a special occasion. Excellent meal and service!
Water dripped from the ceiling on to my wife’s arm. Her line of vision was also a storage closet that was left open and unorganized. Overall just not a great dining experience.
246 is our favorite right now. Every pasta dish is amazing. Great for a date night!!
Brett the manager went above and beyond to make our night on the patio special. We were celebrating our mom moving!!!!! Food was great, and my husband and I even got to play a little ping pong. Our mother was able to bring her furry friend, and my sister visiting from San Francisco thoroughly enjoyed everything.
Pasta dishes are fantastic and seasonal! Service was fantastic, as usual! They can also give you 1/2 portions of pasta for 1/2 price, which isn't advertised on the menu.
Looking forward to going back!
Excellent food and service. One of my lost favorite restaurants in Atlanta!
