Our young grandchildren love to go to the NM Café when we are at the mall because the staff is so accommodating of their special requests - fruit instead of salad, etc. and their simple tastes. The service is quick and they don't have a chance to get bored or antsy. We definitely will return to the Café during our mall excursions!

Always a nice quiet getaway lunch spot. The lobster salad was pricey but delicious and the popovers are everything!

A really nice lunch option, especially for women. The cafe is small and feels very cozy. The food is excellent and the choices are varied and interesting. It's on the pricey side, but worth it for an occasional splurge. I'll definitely return.

We celebrated a friend's birthday here in a quiet , non-rushed environment. There is a new menu but several good selections made it hard to decide. Professional staff and food was delicious. They have kept the consomme and delectable popovers. Very enjoyable lunch.

We always enjoy the NM Cafe which feels a bit like a private club. The quality of food, beverages and service is worth the premium price.

I haven't been to the Neiman Marcus cafe in a few years. The consommé and pop over courses are always good, but the salads were sub par for the price. My daughter had quiche and it was over cooked. My mother had the NM version of pot pie which was disappointing as well. Definitely not worth the $200 I paid for 6 ppl to have lunch.

Excellent stop during a day of shopping or a destination in itself. Butternut squash soup was delicious and obviously made from scratch. Popovers (for everyone) with strawberry butter were very special.

I took a chance by taking my 2 grandchildren to lunch - ages 2 & 5. (You never know what to expect from kids at this age.) The staff immediately gave them coloring books and crayons. There is a wonderful kids menu and they had no problem finding something they liked, even the "picky" one. The staff was very patient and attentive. We all enjoyed our lunch and I would definitely take them here again.

I met some friends for a get together and to catch up. We were there well over 2 hours but never felt rushed. The food was delicious and the starters - consommés and popovers - were wonderful. The service was excellent and the setting very comfortable. I never knew this
cafe existed but it is a little gem!

I had a great experience at the café. I absolutely loved the Crab Louie. The ambiance was rich and sophisticated. As Neiman Marcus is known for it's fashionable, expensive and luxurious taste in retail, the NM café also illustrates fashionable, expensive, and luxurious taste in food.

My friend and I have a tradition of meeting here for lunch at least twice a year. The service is always amazing and the food choices are good - especially since she is a vegetarian. This time I had the most delicious grilled cheese with tomato jam, which came with a cup of soup and a side salad. Very reasonable for the price, too!

Basically, this is a great lunch spot. Great food, tends to be relatively quiet and enjoyable experience. It takes a lot of usual lunch staples and makes them just better. Definitely recommend.

Had a lovely lunch.....a nice break from shopping at Somerset. The popovers were a yummy surprise & I like that they include
nutritional information for most items on the menu. Wish all restaurants would do this!

I have enjoyed lunch at Nieman's Cafe many times. The food and service have been excellent, it is kid friendly (for well behaved children) and I look forward to having lunch there again. We ordered the Lobster Corn Chowder soup which was excellent as was the grilled cheese with tomato and avocado. My granddaughter had the grilled cheese which she really enjoyed. As always, the popovers with strawberry butter are an excellent way to start the meal. Servings are plentiful so we did not have any dessert., other than the chocolate chip cookie included with my granddaughters lunch.

I OFTEN TAKE MY SON AND GRANDDAUGHTER FOR LUNCH AT NEIMAN MARCUS. WE ENJOY SHOPPING AND THEN STOPPING FOR LUNCH. THE KIDDIE MENU IS GOOD FOR HER AND MY SON AND I FIND SOMETHING GOOD TO EAT AS WELL. WE LOVE THE POP OVER AND THE STRAWBERRY BUTTER. THAT IS WHAT WE LOVE THE MOST!!!

Not nearly what we expected from this place. Service was very slow and just bad. After we got seated I am pretty sure they forgot about us for about 20 minutes. The hostess was the only one in the whole place who was nice and pleasant, every other server was grumpy and acted like us being there was an inconvenience to them. I did enjoy my salmon tacos, they were very good, but grilled chicken was dry.

1. 1/2 Chicken sandwich and cup of soup were okay - Recommend asking if want bread toasted. Mine was toasted which made bread dry. I would have appreciated being given a choice. Chicken salad was boring. Add cranberries, nuts, etc. to make it more interesting? Soup recipe, pasta fa...., also seem to be lacking in flavor somewhat. Soup was not hot enough.
2. Noise level was challenging as I had a headache and noise level exacerbated it. Others would likely not be bothered...
3. In my opinion, the popover and beef consomme were the best parts of the meal. These two items made paying the 14.50 for 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup a little more bearable and palatable. Those two items caused the bump up in the Food category rating to good from fair.

The cafe at Neiman Marcus is such a quaint little restaurant. I have lived by Somerset for years, and never knew they had a restaurant, but was delighted to find out after I saw the menu. The food is so refreshing, with plenty of options. I had the Salmon Tacos, which were amazing but I think there is something for everyone. The service was also outstanding. We were served chicken broth when we first arrived, then popovers with strawberry butter. Yum! And the chocolate chip cookie was the best I have ever had. Our server was so friendly and helpful, but they all seemed to give great service. I was glad I made a reservation as the cafe is a bit small and filled up after we arrived. We will definitely be back!

I've lunched here for over a decade & never once had bad food or service! The menu changes & daily specials are just that! Cocktails are creative & the lite cocktails are tasty. Starting with a complementary demitasse cup of salty broth to whet your appetite, to the incredible fresh-baked-from-scratch Popover (served with strawberry butter!), to the variety of choices on the menu, one won't be disappointed eating here. I love all the salads, and sandwiches are hearty without being heavy. There are many choices from vegetarian to filet. The room is rich and elegant with a tone of conservative formality and an air of sophistication. Diners dress well and are well-mannered. Finally no screaming children or inappropriate clothing on shoppers.
