We eat there all the time because is in my neighborhood and convenient but lately past 3-4 times that we ate there the food is really taste less and oily. I had salmon with rice and vegetables, it was too greasy and no taste. The soup was bad. I hope they consider this matter because we like it there and if it continues to be the same we have to take our ladies weekly lunch get togethers else where.
Food was good, popover was great, service not so much. Also, they forgot it was my friend's birthday and didn't get the dessert that other reviewers talk about.
Server was very not attentive throughout the meal. We ordered a kids meal, but we just got the pasta, without any drinks and a cookie even we asked.
NM Cafe is a good and convenient place to dine whenever we shop at Stanford shopping center. On our recent visit, while the food choices and quality remain high, we experienced that the service is lacking. The front host was unprofessional and busy chit chatting with friends dining there, and they were loud. No respect for other diners there. We were a bit disappointed.
It’s a quiet place to eat. Food is good but not great. Expensive.
Great food, service and location
Hadn’t been to NM cafe in years, but perfect place to meet a friend for lunch. My Caesar salad with grilled shrimp was perfect blend of fresh ingredients, and just the right ratio of lettuce, dressing and croutons. Service was attentive without hovering. Will go back.
Took my 90 year old mother here for a special Christmas lunch. Everything was perfect from the quiet table in the corner they gave us to the delicious food and impeccable service. Always a great spot for a quiet lunch. She really enjoyed it.
Enjoyed my crab salad and glass of champagne. Great place to dine alone or with a group.
Crab soup was bland
Rice with mushrooms was oily and overseasoned with soy sauce
They were out of ice cream at opening
