NM Cafe at Neiman Marcus - Atlanta
The truffle fries are amazing! Bought a bottle of water that the server poured into a glass. There was residue in the glass, contaminating the water. But they made up for it by not charging us for the bottle. Thank you.
Very disappointed. I experience other NM cafes but this one feels like a cafeteria.
Love going here for lunch but the service was not as wonderful this time as usual. Food was excellent!
Great meal - the blackened salmon sandwich with truffle fries was amazing! Tiffany is so polite and provided excellent service!
Excellent food choices. Fresh food prepared to order. Friendly waiter.
Popovers with strawberry butter is the best!
A hidden gem and one of the BEST restaurants in Atlanta. The food is ALWAYS on point.
The food was good, but the service only fair. It took forever to get our food-it wasn’t crowded, so maybe they were short staffed in the kitchen. It’s a place that’s a throw back to a former era of ladies who lunch-not a bad thing, just a particular vibe. Excellent menu, and plenty of time for conversation!
Service was excellent, nice quiet ambience, think a bit overpriced
One of my favorite places to eat—especially the popovers with strawberry butter.
A delightful experience.
This was amazing I loved everything about it. I had thee crab soup . It' had lumps of meat . And was very well priced the staff treated me amazing definitely can't wait to go back . Absolutely delicious
One would expect 5-star service at any NM cafe. Lunch at this one was extremely disappointing. The hostess was rude and told us the cafe closed despite my having reservations. She rolled her eyes at me and stated “I have no idea why.” I complained and suddenly the restaurant magically reopened.
Our server was similarly apathetic. He brought cold food and incorrect wine and acted like redoing both were a huge inconvenience for him. The final straw occurred while I was paying. A sign on the table actually read that servers would be delighted to look up NM Perks reward accounts, and I knew I had a perk reward for the restaurant. I gave our server my drivers license and expected him to do as the placards suggested. He told me he didn’t have to do that, and that I needed to pay the bill then take it up to customer service for an adjustment.
Food is fine but the terrible and snobby attitude from staff at this restaurant make it a sour experience. The store management should seriously overhaul the cafe in Atlanta.
My granddaughter’s 9th Birthday was made very special.
Love having lunch with my daughters when in town and this is our favorite place!
Annual mom/daughter Christmas lunch
Fantastic! Perfect lunch. Amazing service.
I love the popovers!! I also enjoy the wine selection. It is a great place to stop when shopping at Lenox Square in Atlanta.
My only suggestion would be to have waiters that speak better English. Ours was hard to understand.
Lovely restaurant with superb waitstaff. Warm and welcoming.
Service was wonderful. The Herb Roasted Chicken and She Crab Soup were amazing as usual. The only thing I have to complain was the complimentary chicken consommé, it was lukewarm and not hot as in the past.
Slow service, long wait to get meal, no drink refills, and the food was just not good considering the price. The chicken noodle soup had no noodles, popovers were doughy, and the chicken salad was dry. Last time I was here my review was the same - I went back hoping it was better. It was actually worse. This has not always been the case at this location - I will not return.
I love this restaurant.... always have lunch here when Atlanta!
I great meeting spot for old friends. I always enjoy the cocktails and steaks!
Jennifer made straight A’s. Of course that meant lunch at Neiman’s. We’ve been doing this for years. We absolutely love Gloria the bartender
Stopped for lunch on a trip to the mall and was surprised to find a brunch menu in addition the the regular menu. Had the crab eggs benidict with a split of champagne. Was very tastey with real lump crab.
My eggs could have been a bit softer and grits hotter but the service made up for these two small issues.
Gloria was excellent and provided service above expectation. Thanks Gloria!
Terrible service and food was so bland and does not worth it.
Our server was wonderful.
Our food was delicious!! The service was fine once we figured out who our server was!
I have gone to many Neiman Marcus cafes and this one too in the past. This particular trip was not so great. The Neiman Marcus cafe I remember visiting was more luxurious and had a better ambiance. This time, the service was poor, the waiters acted as though they were waiting on tables at a cheap Chinese buffet. The whole sense of class and sophistication has disappeared. The dishes I was served on were not very clean. When the waiter would bring me anything, be it a drink or food, he would tower over me and my food to set it down. When bringing me my drink, the waiter shouldn’t stick his arm in front of my face and across my food to set it on the table. These are waiters at a high end cafe. But they didn’t know basic table manners. It was gross and unprofessional. I did enjoy the food itself. The chef must be the same. I thought the popovers were a little overdone, but that’s not a big deal. But because of the poor ambiance, I doubt I’ll return again anytime soon.
Wait staff was excellent, especially Dey. Management came to the table to ensure our Meal was tasty. We were promptly seated and as always the She crab soup was delicious.
From start to finish, dining here is simply a pleasure. Our server was professional and attentive, the food was delicious and the presentation outstanding! Don’t miss the monkey bread and strawberry butter. Fabulous snack as you wait for main course.
Birthday with a friend
Great place to meet wifey for romantic weekday lunch, everything about it is good. very underrated.
Great service, nice casual and upbeat ambiance, food was really good. Definitely a go-to spot when in the area. She-crab soup is a local must try!
Enjoyed the food and location! The server was outstanding.
Wonderful she crab soup and great service Cold, rainy day and the ac was way too high
Love this location. The staff are kind, prompt and caring. They made us a drink that was no longer on the menu which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely visit this location when we return to Atlanta.
Open but no one home. Sadly this favorite will have to be missed by us based on today.
My friend and I were seated promptly upon arrival - but it took a very long time to receive our order. The food was just ok. The popovers were sticky and tasted undercooked (which has never happened before at this location). The bread for the sandwiches was stale so we both ate our chicken and tuna salad (which was dry and needed mayo) sandwiches without the bread. Our server brought us the crab soup (my friend is allergic to crab) and we had both ordered the pasta soup. There was not one thing really great about this meal but the soup was good. We are return customers and were very disappointed in this experience.
Service was slow; taste memory of food was weak, seating was dirty, hardly anything elevated about experience
