Sushi was excellent. New aged beef offering was disappointing. Priced at a level slightly below a quality steak house, the meat was tough. Would go again but stay away from the beef.

Our first time here, this is a great little hideaway and the sushi was so fresh. Our sushi Chef Justin was great! We will be back and next time we want to try the aged beef.

Great food..... They need more servers and need to bring all drinks to table at once not one person's and 10 mins later the others. Same with food.

The food was great, but once the place started to get busy, the only waitress had a hard time to keep up with all the tables. It was a nice place to kick back with some friends to try some unique dishes.

Made a last minute Valentine Day reservation. Only had a short time frame. Staff was more than accommodating. Sat at the sushi bar, great sushi, will.be back!!

My husband and I went on Valentine's Day for our 3rd trip to Nitrogen. I was more impressed on my first 2 visits, when we found the food fresh and amazing. Valentines Day the service was slow (our server did come to apologize a couple of times mentioning that the kitchen was backed up even though there were only 10 tables with guests) and the food was not up to par - our fish and chips (a usual favorite) were not hot from the fryer and were a bit soggy. We will try it one more time to see if this was just an anomaly. We usually love the duck pot stickers - you get 5 for $10, the creative Seafood and chips which is a mix of fried shrimp and mahi mahi sticks with 3 different kinds of potatoes, and the sushi rolls. In general the portion sizes are smaller than usual and a bit pricey. The restaurant is on the small size, maybe 15 tables with half of the space devoted to the bar which I've heard has great drinks (the bar menu is 6 pages whereas the food menu is one). I'm a wine drinker and can't comment on the mixed drinks. I like the atmosphere, very urban, dark exposed brick walls, crystal chandeliers that remind me of jelly fish (I love 'em!), and small tables. It is a bit pricey (we had 2 glasses of wine, one side order of roasted brussel sprouts, one appetizer of duck pot stickers, one seafood and chips, & one sushi roll which came to $95), but it's usually not crowded and you can get a good meal during season without reservations.
