Convenient for going to theater and/or walking around Laguna. Food and service are good and I like the ease of OpenTable reservations! Very enjoyable Laguna eatery!

We had an early dinner before a show. Service was prompt and friendly, food was very good, ambiance and location are very good.

Food is always good, but sometimes better than others, depending on choice of dish and the luck of the draw (i.e., some dishes are just more appealing than others, but that's a matter of individual taste; everything is always well-cooked and beautifully presented). Food is occasionally a little on the bland side (I like spice), but still very good.

We had Easter Sunday Brunch, I had tried viewing their menu before hand, however had issues with their website. At first our daughter ages 14 & 8 had issues deciding what to eat. Fortunately, once we received the food it was absolutely exquisite, they both ate everything, and so did my husband and I. The service and people there made us feel very welcomed. Very nice experience, just what we wanted for Easter brunch since we were away from home.

Even though we live in North Orange County Nirvana Grille is my first choice for a lovely dinner out- hands down. The elegant, intimate atmosphere and vibrant music is wonderful but what really keeps us coming back is their farm to table inspired menu paired with excellent service! And the food isn’t just delicious... no matter what we order or how many times we’ve dined, the kitchen staff’s care and preparation has proven it to be consistently delicious.

Excellent restaurant although a bit pricey. We split a meal and each had a drink and the bill with tip was over $100.

Nirvana Grille never disappoints, delicious food and great service.

I was a bit disappointed because it was advertised that they had vegan options and a vegan desert and when we arrived I didn’t see any vegan options and they did not have the desert.

Great food and service! The cocktails are innovative and fun. It's a short walk to the Laguna Playhouse which makes this a great pre-theater destination.

A favorite every time we visit Laguna Beach .. our server was outstanding and the food is absolutely delicious .. you are never rushed and though it is a small and cozy dining room you still feel as you and your guests are alone .. truly a gem not to be missed.

Excellent food. NG always featured a delectable menu, and it never disappoints. There are excellent, tasty, vegetarian dishes for the non-carnivores, and not some raw vegetables tossed up in a salad, or boiled and salted.

The appetizer portions were not skimpy, and while the drinks are expensive, they are tasty. Alcohol with a meal makes the meal costlier, so I'll perhaps try the bar experience: cocktails and tapas should be a reasonable priced outing at Happy Hour.

I really appreciate this unique menu, especially the large variety of small plates. Hubby and I shared 4 + a salad, everything was sooooo good! They add new things seasonally so there are frequently new things to try. Service is great too.

Good, varied menu of small plates and large plates. The salad with half of a large plate item was a nice option. Roasted sea bass was delicious and perfectly cooked. Excellent service. Definitely worth a visit.

We were surprised that at 7:15 on a Friday night, specials were already sold out, as was one of the small plates. Only four other tables were occupied, and by 9:30 when we left, we were the last out the door. Is this late night dining?

As usual, this restaurant really performs. The menu has great selections with specials offered from time to time. At 5:30 on a week night, there were only a few people in the restaurant, so service was outstanding - but it usually is! I had the pork chop which was fantastic. My friend had the short ribs and they were amazing. The food is phenomenal and the service and attentiveness is terrific. Our waiter was helpful and even allowed us to change tables to one that was a bit more to our liking. Extremely good restaurant with food that is locally grown and sourced, with creative and interesting dishes on the menu. A few items are signature dishes and these are always outstanding. Anything new will be a hit, I am sure, as the chef pays great attention to preparation and presentation.

I had the vegetarian platter. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, great selection and a lovely presentation. Excellent service and I will return to this amazing gem in Laguna Beach.

My wife and I loved it! We just had a big salad and small plates of Prawns and Chimichuri Steak. Unbelievable food!

Food was superb. We chose Nirvana because it's within easy walking distance to the Sawdust Festival and we went for the Winter Fantasy event. I was a bit worried about some of the reviews, but not any more. Every dish was excellent.
Filet Mignon was incredibly flavorful and tender
Mushroom Ravioli was brilliant. The sauce makes it.
Salmon was excellent
Lamb was excellent
Airline Chicken (not the best name, huh?) was tender and very flavorful. My wife said it was the best dish she has had in a long time.
Butternut Squash soup (might have been a special) was incredible (very creamy, so not for those watching calories)
On the night we went, they had a special which had blackened salmon, shrimp and scallops and that dish was the bomb.

Wine and desserts were also excellent.
Wonderful ambiance.
Very good service.

Nirvana will be on my go-to list for Laguna Beach!

I truly enjoy this restaurant. Their menu is not extensive, but all their food is fresh and prepared exceptionally well. The service is always quick and attentive, without being intrusive. I take many friends here, and everyone loves it. One of my favourite go-to spots for people who enjoy delicious food in a comfortable and elegant atmosphere.

The crab cakes & mushroom ravioli were really good. Service was excellent. Very nice find!

Exceptional food quality and choices. I had the Lamb it is was one of the best I have ever had.

Food was good, wine was good, upstairs deck was not open . Inside was silly loud with a table of eight or so adults ignoring their two young kids who were raising hell. No joke, out of control. Shame, the kids should have been supervised or left with a sitter.... awkward but staff should have said something to the party.....

This has become our go-to place before the theater. Food is unique and always amazing .

Everything about this place is great - food, service, reasonably priced, etc- except the ambience- chairs were ripped and overall it just looked shabby - decor is dated and the place is simply worn out. Just not what I expected in elegant, hipster Laguna.

Overlooked with many choices in Laguna but going to frequent more often! We haven't been in many months and have been twice in the last 2 weeks and loved it! Lamb was great! Sea bass was great! Enjoyed Salmon the last time. Love they let you skip rice and potatoes and offer a 2nd vegetable. Good cocktails! Quiet and wonderful with family or another couple, even date night!
