We were staying at the hotel Muse that's connected to the restaurant. We flew in from Europe and was hoping with the small menu that the quality would be good and the food would be fresh and that wasn't our experience. The restaurant/bar at 9:30pm on a Saturday night was completely empty and for 2 Kale salads and a shared flat bread plus 2 glasses of wine it was $130. A bit expensive for what it was.

Inspired kitchen work. Great food. And with the 3 course plus drink deal quite affordable. Otherwise fair prices for the proximity to Times square.

Delightful restaurant attached to the Kimpton Muse Hotel. Specializes in small plates - we ordered three to share. The food was very good. This was a pre-theatre dinner - the restaurant is located in the heart of the theatre district. We came back after the show for dessert - very convenient, and very good.

Seated right away and the service staff was very accommodating. We had a reservation on OpenTable but it did not come up at the computer. The food was very good and they served us on time which allowed us to get to the theatre before the show.

Excellent value, good and service. Ideal pre-theater. Very irritating that a substantial tip is included in the price and then they ask for more on the bill.

Found this restaurant online based on its close proximity to the theatre. What a GREAT find!!! The bartender made a Harlem Fog, which I highly recommend for the taste & the presentation! The steak was extremely flavorful, as was the burger. Overall I would say this was a wonderful place to hang out and have a delicious bite to eat!

Small and simple menu. We ordered four "small plates." It was more than enough for the two of us. Each plate was prepared well. The lamb was medium rare, just as we ordered. The Sea Bass was perfectly cooked. (There is nothing that irritates us more than a good piece of fish the is overcooked. The service was stellar, from the time we made the reservation, to how we were greeted, and all the way to the knowledgeable and attentive wait staff. The location is perfect for the theater, and the prices are very reasonable.

WE'll be back the next time we visit NYC.

My girlfriend and I had eaten here twice before, but with another couple. This time we were on our own. Walking-in there was a large group of people at the front of the restaurant which created a din that caused us to speak louder than normal even though we were seated against the back wall.

But services was very good. The waiter, perhaps thinking we were on a date, let us share my appetizer (Heirloom tomatoes & watermelon) and my dessert (Trio Mousse Cake). Both were excellent by the way. If your a subscriber to Roundabout Theater and are attending a performance across the street, this is a good place to eat beforehand.

Grabbing bite before theatre. Great deal 3 share plates for $50. We shared excellent shrimp cerviche with plaintains, a small tasty lamb porterhouse, and a fairly large flatbread of cheese, prosciutto and fig that was delicious. Good rose wine. Also shared amousse cake. Only surprise was that we were 2 people and they added gratuity.

For a Manhattan restaurant, everything about it is average. Average ambiance, average food quality, average service. What made the experience less than average was the fact that they could not get our beef cooked properly. My business colleague and I had to return our food 2 times to be re-prepared because they cooked it wrong. I've never had to do that in all my years of dining out. That coupled with the fact that it's an average experience in a city of great restaurants, I don't think I would go back.

Disappointed after we ate to find a C in to grading in the window. We had entered from the hotel because we were hotel guests. Menu was very confusing and was not well explained by service person. Food was reasonably good.

I really enjoyed this restaurant and was happy to have found it. I started with a tomato and watermelon salad that was delicious. From there I HAD THE Chilean sea bass. Also delicious. They were out of the strawberry rhubarb muffin but had a strawberry rhubarb pie that was out of this world. I would go back just to have dessert.

Connected to The Muse Hotel in NY's Theater District. Nios manages an intimate feel with delicious food for sharing. We loved thecauliflower small bites, the brussel sprouts and especially the mahi mahi fish tacos.
We returned after the Play for drinks and dessert for a happy ending.

So, we have been to this lovely restaurant connected to the Muse Hotel many times pre-theater. It seems they have recently done away with the three-course prix fixe menu. Okay...
We ordered the flatbread appetizer, a burger and the steak sandwich. The flatbread was excellent, as was the burger. The steak sandwich could have used more meat. The accompanying French fries that came with both meals were terrific.
I ordered two glasses of Sancerre at $16 a glass and felt it was a cheap pour, not even half of a small white wine glass.
Another new policy was an 18% gratuity included in the check. We were a party of two! We are New Yorkers and dine out often. I don't recall ever seeing that before, other than for a large party of six or more.

Great spot for pre-theater food and drinks. Nice ambiance. Well-prepared small plates and delicious cocktails. We went there before an evening performance of Hamilton on Broadway, and we will definitely dine there again. The lamb chops were perfect, and the spicy kale caesar salad was delicious. My partner had the grilled octopus and the chicken quesadilla. Both were wonderful.

Host was extremely rude. Argued that I didn't have a reservation even though I showed him my OpenTable reservation. There are 8,000 other restaurants in the city. I work nearby and frequent the theater but will not be returning to this restaurant.
