We went to Nino’s with my family for the first time Friday night and we absolutely loved it. The food and service was amazing - not to mention the man playing the piano. What a perfect night. We just made reservations for when my family comes back into the city for our annual Christmas celebration.

Been here several times before and the food, service, and ambience is still outstanding and stellar. Highly recommend the Lobster Fra Diavolo - great portion with incredible taste, meaty, and fresh with just the right amount of spices. The linguine which accompanies the Lobster is cooked to perfection and very delicious. Their salads were also fresh, crunchy, and not heavy with the dressing. Service was attentive and professional. Definitely recommend Nino's to anyone looking forward to classic Italian dining! :)

We had a wonderful anniversary celebration. Delicious food. But they did not make a fuss over the anniversary couple. It would have been nice.

I had a very delicious meal with a friend here the other night. The duck risotto was very good and the lamb chops were outstanding! Cooked perfectly, and very juicy and tender. Service was helpful and attentive. It's a little on the expensive side but worth it if you want to splurge a little. Nino himself came over and offered us free after dinner drinks. A great night!

A gem right in the neighborhood. Beautiful settings, outstanding meal, good service not intrusive, but attentive. Can’t wait to return. The music just a bit to loud.

Nino's is our favorite UES restaurant. The service is attentive and friendly. The food is excellent and well presented. I have always felt like a regular despite the fact that we go infrequently as we mostly live in Florida. I have never been disappointed.

Waiter pushed to get order immediately and after being asked for more time, persisted. While it was a Sat night, there were several empty tables, so no need for the pressure to move so quickly. Plates were cleared as we were eating, literally.
For 2 people to spend well over $230, the service was very amateurish. Food was excellent. Old time Italian, well-prepared.

Nino's has been a local Upper East Side (UES) fixture for many years, reasons being that the food, service, and ambience is outstanding! My favorite Italian dish is anything with pasta. I've had pasta in many different restaurants in NYC, and I must say that Nino's pasta dishes have the right texture, amount, and seasoning. Their meat dishes are also cooked to perfection and look absolutely succulent. Waiters/servers are really friendly and professional. The overall restaurant ambience is warm, inviting, and cozy, making me feel welcomed. I also think their prices are reasonable, especially here in the UES. In addition, Nino's has a live pianist performing on the weekends. His music appeals to all generations, thereby augmenting my eating experience. Highly recommend Nino's and hopefully you'll enjoy this fine restaurant!

Gustavo our server was very attentive and helpful during our selection of dishes. We arrived a few minutes before 7pm and was seated right away. We advised them we had a living social voucher and was given that specific menu. The seafood salad, the meatballs with pine nuts and raisin in a well seasoned tomato sauce. The seafood over linguine was over top for me. Meal completed with chocolate mousse and a cup of green tea. I opt out for the white wine but it did not go to waste. Restaurant week is coming up and there's a menu for that too. Can't wait to venture back and try something different.

Once a really good Italian neighborhood spot it has gone down hill. Skimpy caeser salad. Over cooked risoto , too heavy but not enough flavor. Of the three wines we ordered they had none in the cellar. Not a great experience for the price. Sadly.

We made reservations for Mothers Day Brunch after viewing their brunch menu on Open Table. When we arrived we were told that the dinner menu was the only one available. Complete bait and switch. While the food was great (as always) the misrepresentation left a bad taste.

Unless there is a restroom of which I am unaware, people with mobility issues may have difficulty accessing bathrooms, and the toilets within. Otherwise, I have no complaints. The food is splendid and the decor is traditional and inviting, a respite from City hyperactivity.

My husband and I went for Valentine's Day. The service was Abominable. No one came to ask us if we wanted a drink before dinner. We waited for a long time at our table, before a harried waiter came to our table to give us a menu. We hadn't realized that it was a prix fix dinner. There was no indication of that when I made the reservation. The menu, therefore, was limited, but I saw a dish I ordered in several other occasions (Parmesan encrusted chicken). When our maun course came, the dish didn't even resemble what I ordered. The waiter tried to convince me that the roasted chicken breadt with mashed potatoes was in fact the Parmesan chicken, as described in the menu. Finally, he relented an agreed to bring me, "in 10 minutes," the Parmesan crusted chicken breast. I waited about 30 minutes before I was finally served. By that time my husband was finished with his main course. The chicken I was served was undercooked and I was able to choke down barely 1/2 of the portion. Another eternity elapsed before we were served dessert. While we did get served a sugar bowl and pitcher of cream, we never did receive the coffee, fresh fruit plate or the biscotti, as promised by the menu. We had already been there 3 hours and just gave up and asked for the bill. Another eternity passed before we got the bill. This was not a case of the restaurant being short staffed. I think there were more waitstaff running around than there were customers! It was a terrible restaurant experience, which was surprising inasmuch as we had dined there several times in the past 6 months and had enjoyed the cooking. I realize that Valentine's Day can be a hectic time to go to a restaurant but this was beyond the pale.

Our reservation was for 7:30. We didn't even get our wine until 8:00. If you're into long waits between course, hunting down your waiter and pasta from a box for around $130/ person with no discount or even a glass of wine for the extra wait, this is your place.

Many Restaurant Week meals, in my opinion, have gone downhill over the years, but not the lunch at Nino's. It was excellent. Nino's doesn't skip on portion size, selections, and taste. And the music wasn't blasting, which for some of us, who still like to talk and hear what the other has to say, is sheer pleasure. I recommended Nino's.
