About Nino's - Atlanta
Nino's, opened in 1968, has been owned and operated by Antonio Noviello since 1982. Originally from the Amalfi Coast of southern Italy, Antonio worked in Monte Carlo, then Bermuda where he met his wife Helen, an Atlanta resident. After moving to Atlanta in 1981, Antonio's life-long dream of owning his own restaurant became a reality when he purchased Nino's. For more than twenty years, Antonio has taken pride in serving authentic Italian Cuisine made with fresh, imported ingredients and cooked to order for each guest. His reputation for serving exceptional Italian cuisine has attracted devoted locals who return time and again, along with a long list of celebrities (see below) who had heard of Nino's reputation and stopped in to sample the fare. Many of the dishes on Nino's menu are original recipes brought from Italy by Antonio and his brother Giuseppe. Antonio invites you to relax and savor some of the great culinary treasures of Italy in a memorable dining experience.

Nino's - Atlanta Ratings and Reviews
My friend and I went here for a date night. We both agreed that the food was generally uninspired, save the pasta vodka side we ordered. The bruschetta presented at the beginning, while free, seemed like an after thought. 4 tiny pieces of bread, with only a small portion of rather bland bruschetta. The 2 dishes ordered were nothing special and lacked depth of taste. We both agreed we would have had a better meal if we went to Macaroni Grill. We both felt ill later, and can only think it was due to the meal. The pasta orecchiette ordered by my friend was sent back. As an Italian American, she couldn’t even eat it. We won’t be dining here ever again.
The most impressive thing about Nino's is the consistency. We've been coming here for over 15 years and it is always good. (As it has been around over 50 years should prove). It still has the best marinara sauce I've ever tasted. Best calamari. Cozy atmosphere. It is just a winner.
Excellent food was disappointed at the host was this the Owner? If so he did not show us any hospitality and passed us off quickly to the table. I have eaten at Ninos for 25 years and have been gone to Florida for last 10 years. Remember better curteosy in earlier years of restaurant.
Never disappoints. This small, charming classic Italian kitchen always delivers a delicious meal in a friendly, quiet atmosphere. Servers are attentive and friendly from start to finish. We always leave so glad to have gone... whether for a special occasion or just wanting an everyday quiet good meal turned special. Thank you Nino's for staying true to your course.
We have been going to Ninos for quite a few years. The food is great but one of the main reasons is to have Dan as our server. Dan is so knowledgeable on the wines and every bottle he has suggested we have been happy with. We are sorry to see him go, and I hope when we return and have a different server we will feeling the same!
Very nice place, food was ok but our service was terrible. The waiter was overwhelmed with just 4 tables under his radar, took him 10' to even give us water, asked questions and right away went to the next table without waiting for our Answers. We would want to give it another try as we think it could have been better with a different waiter.
Nino's is one of the top notch restaurants in Atlanta. Located away from the hustle and bustle of Buckhead and Midtown, this is a true hidden gem for some authentic Italian cuisine. The music is very calm and soothing, not loud, yet loud enough to take you back to your last Italian adventure through the Tuscan region while you sip on one of the many wine selections Nino's offers.
For my main dish, I had the veal and risotto special. The veal was tender and juicy and the risotto was a perfect compliment. We celebrated a birthday that night and the carrot cake was incredible!
I recommend all residents, visitors, and food connoisseurs alike to make a reservation in Atlanta at Nino's, you will not be dissapointed!
The service was excellent, waiters and staff very attentive. The 2 veal dishes that we had were excellent; one of the pasta dishes was very good; however the pasta with shrimp, artichokes and olive-oil based sauce was rather dry. The atmosphere was authentic and the wine list was extensive. I would return to try more dishes.
This place is truly Atlanta's best kept secret amongst Italian restaurants. Service was outstanding and the food can be customized without being frowned upon. It was my fiancé' s birthday and we wanted good food, laid back atmosphere that we could actually hear ourselves speak, and no fuss. We got all of the above! A must in Atlanta!
