Nino's - Atlanta
His reputation for serving exceptional Italian cuisine has attracted devoted locals who return time and again, along with a long list of celebrities who had heard of Nino's reputation and stopped in to sample the fare. Many of the dishes on Nino's menu are original recipes brought from Italy by Antonio and his brother Giuseppe.
Alessandra Antonio's daughter has taken over the restaurant with her husband Micah. We invite you to enjoy a memor
This was a celebration, and my friend felt celebrated. Excellent service, great ambiance, and delicious, authentic food. Nino’s will continue to be one of my favorites in Atlanta.
It’s the best!
We visit about 4 times a month and this last time we brought an out of town visitor. She couldn’t stop raving about the gnocchi!!
Music was a little loud but food was great
Nino”s is one of my favorite restaurants. Family owned and managed. Great staff and food.
Nino's is one of my all time favorite restaurants. We love taking our clients there as the quality of the food and service is consistently very good. It has the feel of an older New York Italian "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant .
Everything was amazing!
Ask for the bone in veal parmigiana 🍃
We dine here a lot. Tonight was not one if there best but we will return. The food and service is always good. It was just an off night.
Spaghetti Vongole is excellent...as good as I’ve had in Charleston at my favorite restaurant and that’s saying something.
Our recent visit to Nino's, our first return to this venerable restaurant in over a decade, was a surprise and a delight. The dining room's noise level was quite comfortable. My wife and I could actually hear each other's voices without having to shout. Many other Atlanta Area restaurants are just too loud! The service was attentive, knowledgeable, and polite. The menu was quite interesting, containing a varied selection of Italian dishes. The items that we ordered were well prepared, served in a timely manner, and, best of all, delicious. Nino's is back on our list of "go to" places for special occasions, and for those well-deserved Italian meals that we oft times seek, for not particular reason. We'll be back soon. It was, indeed, a great place for us to celebrate out 49th wedding anniversary.
Mark was the best per usual. Spaghetti Eva is amazing, even more so now that we know who it’s named after. Neighborhood Gem, always our favorite.
Nino's is always great. We have been going there for years, and it's never failed to meet our expectations.
The best southern Italian restaurant in Atlanta, hands down. A must try if you have not yet been there .
It was good i loved it so intimate
Always good food and great service.
Always a pleasure to eat at Nino’s. Their seafood specials are particularly tasty.
Waiter got two of three orders wrong. Too dark to read menu and all of us had to use are iPhones’ light.
The wine wasn’t great this time. But the food and desserts are always stellar. Atlanta staple for Italian food.
The setting was perfect. I understand the need for a reservation. The food was great and the service was nice. I’m always nervous about going to Italian places because I don’t speak the language, but it was very nice being here. I appreciate the parking lot too.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The bread is to die for omg....great date night spot. A must....
It was my wife’s birthday. Our service and our food was excellent. We have been going to Nino‘s for many years. We will continue to do so.
WE had not visited this neighborhood gem and landmark Italian restaurant in a couple of years. WOW!! The food is still excellent, the service professional and efficient and the ambiance fun and semi-frisky for a Saturday night out. Let's hope it stays around with all the "modernization" and residential construction going on in Midtown. Support this restaurant and ENJOY!!
I am sure someone looking for romantic would really enjoy, but I found it too dark. My dinner was not the best of this dish that I have had in the past. A friend ordered a pasta dish which I thought was much better than my choice and less expensive which it should be. Another friend was disappointed in that they changed the sauce on the special pasta selection, but decided to try it anyway. She would not order it again. But our server was very pleasant. It was a touch of old world, which is really nice.
Must eat! Love the food here- always good, consistent, hearty! Nice people- great old feel family Italian!!
A group of friends took me here for my birthday. One friend had called ahead to see if he could wear his sleeveless muscle shirt. He was told yes. When he got there the host said he can not wear his muscle shirt inside but said we would have to sit outside. We sat outside but he wasn't happy being told one thing and then told another. Oddly, we saw two woman where sleeveless tops dining inside so technically this seemed discriminatory.
Once seated outside in the enclosed patio they had oscillating fans that were set at a high speed since there was no A/C on the patio. It kept blowing strongly across our table with each pass cooling our meals off and a bit eye drying.
Finally, there was a bright spotlight pointing at our table, in our face. We asked to redirect the spot light, waiter said he couldn't move it. After about 30 min, we asked again to aim the light away from us, he reached up and moved it but seemed annoyed at our request.
The food was really tasty but the older staff didn't seem to care one way or another if we were happy. I doubt I will go back.
Great food. Our server was a little less helpful than I’d like but I would certainly go back.
The food was fine but the service was terrible. After we got our food the waiter didn't stop by for another 40 minutes and I was without water for most of this time. It wasn't until 15 minutes after I finished that someone other than the waiter stopped by with water to refill our glasses
Great solid Italian. Very accommodating. Comped Birthday celebrant. Classy. Genuine food and service. Will continue dining here.
This place is consistently excellent! One of my all time favs!
Had seafood ravioli. It was amazing!!! Waiter was great. Had a lovely meal.
Nino's is a favorite for my wife and I. Our friends love it as well!
Best Italian since NEW YORK! I grew up on this kind of Italian in NY, left 25 yrs ago and haven’t had any Italian this good in a long time! Thoroughly enjoyed our meals, great service ! Close to Emory !
Wonderful dining experience. There’s a reason Ninos has been around for so long. Our craving was satisfied! Never disappoints!
Great food and outstanding service. Tried the special of the night and it was delicious.
Nino's is my go to place for genuine and delicious Italian food in a European environment. The waiters are sometimes cranky but they come around--and they can describe the food.
I've been going to Nino's off & on for many years & for me, this may have been my last visit. Dinner the other night was a different experience due to a non attentive server. Maybe it was because we were tucked away in an alcove off the dining room but it felt like our waiter forgot we were even there. He appeared tired and couldn't remember what the specials were. Apparently didn't listen either as one of our dinners was not what we ordered. We would have told him about this but he didn't come back once during our meal and even the water glasses went unfilled. A second glass of wine was delivered almost when we were ready for the check. Disappointing yes, but the bottom line is that Atlanta has many other dining options to explore and so I won't be recommending Nino's to anyone again.
Fred’s the best.
I did not enjoy this restaurant for many reasons. Most of it dealt with food safety.
1. A good amount of water residue that was on the water pitcher dripped into my salad. This happened when the server reached over my plate as I was eating and poured water into my glass. I do not know where the bottom of that pitcher has been. That grossed me out and I decided not to eat my salad.
2. I had the horrible experience of receiving my bowl of mussels with the food runners thumb in the sauce as he was handing out my plate.
3. We were seated by the cart of desserts and I witnessed a few customers cough uncovered into the direction of the desserts and I watched the desserts that were coughed on being served to other customers. None of the desserts had any covering on it.
I am very disappointed especially since this was my first time.
Food was delicious and Mark provided excellent service.
