Don't let the average decor fool you. This place offers delicious food with a modern, unique twist. Has attentive service and also several gluten free options for celiac diners (bread, apps, mains, fresh pasta). Highly recommend the spinach gnudi, creamed kale, orecchiette and burrata dishes. Would definitely come back!
The food and service were both decent, but it was obnoxiously loud.
Only went here because I saw it got good reviews. Boy, was I disappointed! We got there a couple of minutes before 4pm and my 2 daughters and I wanted to order lunch because my daughter wanted to try the drunken chicken parm that we heard was so good, and they wouldn't let us because dinner started at 4pm. The waiter was horrible. He acted like we were bothering him when he came to take our order and wasn't even attentive to us throughout our meal asking us if we needed anything. The place is smaller than I thought it would be and it wasn't even that crowded. Food wasn't even hot, which is something I have a problem with. I will never recommend this place nor go there again.
Extremely friendly staff. Great Italian spot with terrific specials. Food was amazing and the owner was very helpful and explained some of the dishes to us. Excellent before a show (5 minute walk to Radio City Music Hall) and the service was prompt and food delivery was quick. Very tasty (we didn't leave anything on the plate!) and I thought it was reasonable for the area. $ people with 1 app, 3 dinners, 4 glasses of wine and 2 espressos was $240 with a 20% tip. Will definitely return and recommend!
Food was delicious. Menu had a variety of pizza, pasta and mains. Gluten free options were wonderful!! Location restaurant was great and very easy to find; within a 8 minute walk from Grand Central.
The food generally looks well prepared, but the evening I dined, the restaurant was full and service was very rushed. Consequently, the pasta was undercooked for both of my dishes (after sending one back). The server also spilled olive oil on my suede boots, and I have yet to hear back from management about remuneration. I do feel the restaurant suffers from general professionalism when it is busy.
Ninos was delicious. It was my birthday and it was very enjoyable.
It was amazing food. Very friendly but not too friendly staff. Extra quick service!
My husband and I came up to NYC for a play. I picked Ninos46 off the internet because of its gf options. I had gf spaghetti and sausage and the Brusselsprouts which were lemony with pinenuts, both delicious. Creambroule for dessert and a couple of glasses of wine, a perfect dinner!!
One of our group ordered from the pizza section - but got the lamb lasagna. The waiter was not sympathetic and was reluctant to bring her a pizza.
Lovely Italian food made & served by lovely people. We really enjoyed our meal. Thank you. OpenTable was easy to use & is a good idea if you you don’t want stand around waiting for a table!
A cosy little Italian restaurant with a really nice buzz about it. Food was tasty and the atmosphere was lively but also relaxed.
Amazing experience! The ambiance is so fun and feels like you’re eating with a big, happy Italian family. Food is impeccable. Service is outstanding. I would come back to NYC just to visit this place. 10/10 recommend!
Great seafood pasta - good gluten free alternatives as well
Wanted to fined something local near timesquare. The food was great. And the staff was accommodating to an allergy. Price was not bad for NewYork
Based on the reviews, I was expecting better service and food.
Table wobbled and was dirty. It was too dark (it was only 5pm), staff looked and acted like they were bored. They were inattentive.
Food was mediocre at best.
Will never go back and will not recommend
Great food, 10 minutes walk from theaters. Quiet which I really liked...
Met friends for dinner during our first visit to NYC. Able to make a reservation online, which was very convenient. Staff was friendly and personable. Our waiter was very nice, and we enjoyed his conversation and service. Drinks and food were delicious! We definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to visit upon our next visit to NYC. Thank you, Bojeni (uncertain if spelled correctly - he will remember us as we talked about Brutus Buckeye AKA James - :-) and the entire staff.
The place was bustling but still cozy. My husband loved the pasta with bolognese. I ordered the linguini with clams. My pasta was a bit overcooked and was stuck together in some spots which was disappointing. We will be back though and definitely try the pizza. It seemed to be the thing most people ordered, and looked amazing!
Good food, friendly staff, and nice ambience. We liked it a lot.
This was one of the best places we have ever ate at. We had the Veal which was cooked so perfect it literally melted in our mouths. Flank Steak was delicious and the appetizer which was octopus was simply amazing! My Wife is Celiac and for a Gluten Free alternative this place is a must!
Great food, especially for the price.
This little gem is a great place to go anytime and for pre- theater, especially if you are eating Gluten Free
Good food. Friendly service. Nice place. Will return.
It was great! Will go back!
The restaurant was nice, wait staff was very attentive. Drinks were a little pricey but I would probably return.
Spinach Gnudi ottimi...una rarità per New York!
The service was great! The waiters and the hostess were all so friendly and inviting and genuine. The food was a bit too salty for me but it was good otherwise
Ninos 46 is an awesome neighborhood gem. I love going here for lunch during the workday, or in the evening on the way home from the office.
Pizza is terrific and the entrees for dinner are spectacular as well.
One of my go-to spots in midtown. Inexpensive and great food!
Very good food and drink. Enjoyed the white pear martini and squash appetizer. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall a good find that I would return to.
Very happy to have found Nino’s. Fantastic service, great food, also gluten free friendly which can be difficult to find with Italian restaurants.
Awesome - service, food etc.
The octopus was very good and impressive. I like it a lot.
Food was just okay—to somewhat disappointing. Much better options in NYC for the money.
Online pricing reflects lunch....dinner pricing on par with other area restaurants. Service was cordial. Food was tasty and ample. Interior a bit dated. Overall, just ok.
I am so happy I picked Nino's for my Valentine's Day dinner. Everything from start to finish was incredible. The handcrafted cocktails were delicious, and the food was even better. The green pizza was phenomenal, as well as the brownie dessert. The staff was on point, and management was very involved and helpful. Overall, the dinner was so much better than I could have ever expected it to be. I would highly recommend to anyone, and I will absolutely be back myself.
Cozy dinning room good Italian food. Pasta was good, chx cutlet was above average, Nutella Brownie was excellent. I’d go back.
Get the fried pumpkin side dish!
