A great find near Time Square. Small and popular for dinner so you'll need a reservation. Server was great but stretched thin, but overall the meal moved quickly with the food arriving about ten minutes after ordering. Selection, quality, taste and portions were outstanding. Will definitely return.
This place is a classic option in midtown. So easy/perfect for any business or personal lunch with friends. Will be back soon!
We had a reservation and were seated right away. I am gluten free and they provided gluten free bread for the table. Server was friendly and knowledgable. My daughter had the pizza and she enjoyed it. I had lobster and shrimp fettuccine. It was good. Server took care of shelling the lobster for me.
Food was amazing, waiter wasn’t friendly. Overall I would definitely recommend this place.
Lovely Italian food. Attentive staff. Delicious cocktails. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town.
Absolutely loved the restaurant. Great service, terrific bar and delicious and fresh food
Excellent food, lighting quick attentive service when we needed it...
I took my girlfriend here on a date, it was fantastic. The service was great I really enjoyed my waiter and just the overall staff from the bartender to the girl at the register. The ambiance is so wonderful I highly recommend it to anyone that is considering a good time out eating or thinking of taking out someone special. Also that food was incredible on a scale of 1-10 everything is a 10.
So noisy. The design of the room causes sound to bounce around, so each table talks louder & louder.
Gluten -free main courses are largely pasta.
Not going back
When making reservation we requested a quiet table, at 6. We waited 25 minutes for a pre theater table, was not quiet, felt rushed... could only order pizza no entree. Will try restaurant again not on a Saturday pre dinner.
Nino’s 46 should be embarrassed to call itself a full service restaurant. They had difficulty corralling all of their customers and at one point, someone’s posterior was practically in my spaghetti. The staff was nice but they were overwhelmed. This is a place for tourists with their obnoxious extended families. No sane New Yorker should ever go here.
Food was excellent. i have celiac's disease and so does the chef/owner. One of the best Italian restaurants I have eaten in where gluten free is not an issue.
🐐GOAT caliber 🐐
Very good food near the theater district.
The server was a little rude saying that we should "thank him" for not carding us and then making effeminate gestures with a little girl's purse.
Excellent service and food!
Always great food and service!
We randomly came across this restaurant as it was near where we were staying. Its small on the inside but really authentic italian. The food is seriously good and matched the general prices of the rest of the restaurants in nyc. The wine was delicious. Our waiter had a great personality and definitely made our experience of Nino’s better. We had a great laugh with him over how we (from ireland) say ‘butter’ ! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend. It was a great find. They also do gluten free options too which is amazing for an italian!
Outstanding clam+margherita pizzas!! My kids loved the homemade spaghetti+my mother loved the creative cocktail menu. With the exception of the sour faced hostess, the service was top notch.
This is a tiny restaurant with giant flavor, as well as cozy ambiance. Prices are more than fair, especially for this part of town. Reservations recommended.
Very nice neighborhood restaurant. Great food, prompt service.
Great with food allergies
Terrific food. Low key atmosphere. Friendly waiter. We will return.
Need to talk loud! Haha
the appetizers are so great!
Enjoyed a simple menu with well cooked food
the pasta al dente & the chicken parm were
delicious by any measure all in all a good place
for quick food at a decent price !!
definitely going back !
My sister and I came here during our first vacation in over a decade: this was THE BEST RESTAURANT we visited all week! Very welcoming staff, had great recommendations for both food and drinks, and EVERYTHING we had was incredible! 12/10, will recommend to anyone coming to visit.
Great little New York Italian restaurant. Wild mushroom and pasta was excellent. Bolognese with pasta was very good. Excellent attentive service. Good glass of wine.
The overall experience at Ninos 46 was outstanding. The food was excellent and the service was even better.
We enjoyed our dinner. The restaurant is very small and I walked past it at first. We ordered three different pizzas and they were all delicious. The bill was reasonable and the restaurant had a good atmosphere. Everyone in our party was very happy. My only complaint would be having to be a contortionist to get into and out of my seat at the table. The tables are very close together.
Location to theaters a plus. Service that gets you out on time without the feel of rushing.
Portions generous. Drinks on the expensive side.
Wait staff good!
Very accommodating. Created a nice big table for us and let us stay way after we were finished eating. Had gluten free options too ❤️
I had a group of 8 friends visiting the city and I was embarrassed. Service was awful, the waiter never came back to serve more water, the food is good but the portion is super small. Online menu is different than the real menu, which is much more expensive. I do not recommend.
Fantastic place for dinner and drinks in NYC. We really enjoyed the food. The mushroom ravioli were awesome.
Our waiter had great recommendations and the shrimp and lobster fettuccine was to die for!
Going to a play.
Very relaxed atmosphere. Great for catching up with 2 of my out-of-town friends. Service was welcoming and consistent. Food was quite good. We had one of the specials, grilled salmon over ratatouille which very tasty. Creme brûlée for dessert was really good too. I’d definitely return.
Very friendly and helpful staff. We had the calamari for an appetizer which was a good size and went well with the sauce. We split a vodka sauce pizza and fusilli pasta. The pasta was fine, but the pizza was better, and they were really good about making changes for allergies.
We had a wonderful meal from start to finish! Would definitely return.
This is our typical Pre-theater restaurant. The service is friendly and quick and the food is very nice and reasonable.
Good gluten-free choices. Adding a gluten-free beer would enhance the experience.
Best Pizza I’ve ever had!
