We went for a bachelorette trip to New York and ninja was absolutely amazing!! Our server was the best we’ve ever had! He catered to our every need!! I wish I got his name :( he was amazing!! Would definitely go back in a heartbeat.
The food was delicious and presentation more than exceeded expectations. We didn’t want to leave!!!

The atmosphere and experience is super cool. The menu is definitely lacking in many ways but it was a beautiful restaurant and fun to see. I recommend you go but don’t expect the best food. It is also very pricey.
The food was simply not good. Every order in party. Very, very bad actually. It does not appear that enough attention is paid toward putting out a quality product. Not necessarily preparation, although the “presentations” touted are underwhelming at best. More or less low quality food product. The “theme” does not do enough to overcome how bad the food is. Never put out another review in my life. Although they happily took items off the bill (that were sent back after 1 bite)....I still feel like I got ripped off.
I went with my kids and they had lots of fun. I admit I had fun too bc I got a kick out of watching them excited. Food is fine. Pricey for what you get, but fun all the same.
It was great my boyfriend enjoyed this meal and experience the staff was wonderful and entertaining
One of the best and most enjoyable restaurants I’ve been to. Incredible experience, great food and lots of fun!
The theme and the service were great! For the price I expected the food to be good. It was just ok.
Was not in the mood to be scared the whole.. night we left before we sat down.. was like lifeless. No music playing .. ppl trying to scare u all the time. Good for kids
In-cre-di-ble. Simple as that.
Great food and a fun experience for the whole family!
Went to Ninja NY had a great time so much fun, and worth the experience. If you have a great personality, and like surprises this is perfect for you. I love ninja New York! I also love the food, the sushi was like butter, the staff did an amazing job, and the decor was so creative. It was all around a magical night may God bless this establishment you rock!!!
We have spent a great time with our Nija !
Enjoy !
We brought my sister and nephew (6 years old) that were visiting from Florida. My nephew loved this place! It's definitely good for kids. The decorations were on point - even in the bathroom. The staff was great and the presentations were cool. We jumped several times with so many ninjas popping out. Overall, it was a fun experience. It was pretty pricey, so we just wouldn't come often.
great food and service (ninja angel) made our son’s 8th birthday an awesome experience
So much fun!! It was the best time ever. Service was amazing.
Fun treat for kids but the service was only so so and you’re paying a lot for the gimmick.
Wow! Took our 5 year old grandson and this exceeded our expectations! Such a blast and our adult food was surprisingly good! My husband and I shared a steak dinner that included lobster bisque. Sushi and calamari.... great presentation !
Our grandson thought this was the best thing he’s ever done in his whole life 😘
Great ambiance and entertainment. Food was good . Staff was beyond amazing!
The atmosphere was cool. A couple of ninja’s jumped out on the way to the table and that got the kids excited. Food was terrible and overpriced. Kids meal was $28 for hamburger, chicken and fries. Service was non existent. We didn’t even see our waiter again after food was ordered. No drink refills, no condiments for the burger/fries, no check. We had to flag down another waiter to pay. There are too many good places in NYC to waste your time here.
We celebrated our daughter’s 18th Birthday here and it was just an amazing experience! Fun for the whole family, great menu choices, and awesome service!
Great food and an amazing experience. The kids haven't spotted talking about it since we left!
Our waiter was excellent. I believe his name was Ryan or Brian and gave my family an excellent experience.
It was my daughter’s birthday surprise, she loved it, really pleasant experience from start to finish, best part the magician, we loved it!!!
I hate a great time. It was a very nice experience. I loved the private dining experience with the magic shows the ninjas the scroll menu. some might think the price is a little high. It’s worth every penny because there are no other places around like such. I traveled from Philadelphia to come to ninja for his birthday with my two other kids. I’m sure my son will never forget his 12th birthday.
The staff was great. They were a lot of fun. I can't stress that enough. It's a great place for kids too. I was there with another couple (we're both in our 30's) and it was fun. HOWEVER, the food was bad. We expected that it would be great but none of us finished our meals. It didn't stop us from having a good time but I'd recommend maybe sticking with Sushi if you go and you should be all set.
After watching You Tube videos I was expecting a lot more than we got. It could be that we were only able to get a 5pm reservation (next available was 8:30) but it was toddler and kid central. The menu is very "diverse" - the sushi was VERY good, no complaints there was also an ABUNDANCE of french fries, mac and cheese, chicken fingers and the like. HOWEVER we ordered the "artichoke dip" and it was at best artichoke inspired-kinda gross. The Sake was low budget too. Our waiter was fabulous but there was no surprise attacks like we saw online. Our waiter really played the part though. I was NOT HAPPY that they also have strolling magicians who ask for tips. VERY out of place if you ask me. That really made the whole experience feel like an Asian version of Chucky Cheese. This is a great tourist trap, but that is not what we were looking for. For the 3 of us the bill came to just about $200. Great for kitch, fun for kids - grownups - spend your money somewhere else.
The food was good. The service was downright horrible. We got sat and then just as we got comfortable we were moved again. No one came around to ask if we wanted a drink while we waited to get a table, even though we were handed a drink menu. We were then sat at a four top, but the host did not remove the extra settings (there were only two of us dining). We ordered sushi as an appetizer, but received no soy sauce. Ten different workers passed our table with empty hands and not one cleared our app plates. I even stacked them neatly and placed them at the end of the table. Our steak finally arrived by itself and with nothing else. I wish our server had told us that it came by itself so we could order some sides. I figured for $43 it would at least come with a vegetable. We were sharing the steak, but were given no side plates. We had to both eat out of the cast iron skillet. Our water glasses remained empty throughout the meal. Needless to say, this experience was a huge let down. I was looking forward to dining here for quite some time, after seeing it on a TV show.
The food was overpriced and did not really meet quality. Restaurant was fun but highly overpriced. Also service was ok. Your paying for the experience. I don't know if I would go back or recommend to others.
Great place and lots of fun, just wish there were less little kids there. For the money you spend, it would be nice to have no screaming kids nearby, or at least have a separate section for noisy families
Lots of fun! Definitely not a "quiet evening out.". My 5 year old loved it. The food was really good and came quickly. Our server "Ninja Ninja" was great.
We had a great time ordered too much food but took it home! Kids loved it and we had a great time watching everything
Bathrooms are a hoot!
This restaurant really surprised me. Not only was the atmosphere really fun, and entertained both a nine-year-old and a teenager, the food was awesome! I highly recommend.
Great! Fun, exciting. Our server was kind and funny. She was awesome!
Loved the staff and my son loved the experience it was for his 10 birthday and he had so much fun. Everyone stayed in character and even the bathroom fit the decor it was awesome definitely going back again.
Great fun with my 11 yr old daughter & her two cousins. They loved the food & were quite entertained...loved the dessert!!
It was an interesting experience. Not my favorite. Food was ok. We may have ordered not great dishes. But it was interesting, unusual spices. The chicken was good. Spinach dip was good. Otherwise very expensive.
It seems like a place for families with smaller kids. My teenagers and I weren’t that amused with folks jumping out at us.
Wonderful “experience” and delicious food! The place was nicely decorated with different locations available for seating. We sat in the “Rock Garden” area and had an area that felt semi- private tucked away in a corner. Plenty of entertainment and noises to keep our kids entertained and not affect other parties.
The presentation was the most fun part of the meal. We ordered both versions of the kids meal- one in a three tiered pagoda style building and the other presented with smoke (dry ice in water). My prime ribeye was presented with a “Ring of Fire” and the Ninja Star cake was presented in a fun and interactive way.
Food overall was delicious. Sushi was very fresh, the steak was perfectly cooked served with a slightly spicy sauce (definitely recommended).
The price is a little on the higher end but nothing out of the ordinary for downtown prices. I think the experience, presentation, and quality of food definitely make Ninja NY a tremendous value and worth the visit.
Had lots of fun. They have great customer service. Loved it. Made the day special for the birthday boy.
Nous avons été là pendant notre fin de semaine de vacances à New York. Nous avons été très emballé. Service impeccable, atmosphere festive et la nourriture, wow! Tout était parfait!
The food was really terrible. Everything else was ok
