My husband and I went to 90 Acres for a date last night. The food was good, but the service was awful. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived for our reservation, the servers (inexplicably 3 assigned to our table) were inattentive and forgot items we ordered, and my husband was served coffee so hot he burned his knuckles on the mug. We had heard such wonderful things about this restaurant but will not be returning as we spent so much time waiting for our food. It was not a busy night and there seemed to be an abundance of staff. For the price, I expect a much higher level of service.

Fun time sharing plates. The pork belly pizza and the gnocchi were delicious, as was the salad with pears and basil... great for sharing. Meatball pizza and scallops were so so. Service was great and the atmosphere by the kitchen is fun. We’ve already decided what we’re going to eat the next time we go. The fried chicken, steak fritte and burgers looked amazing.

When I arrived I was told no one from my party were there ahead of me. As it turns out they were already seated and found me at the bar. The place is very nice and the meals were good except the fried chicken was seriously under seasoned.

Celebrated my husband's birthday at Ninety Acres with our two sons. We all agreed this was the best meal! The crème brulee really stuck out in my mind, and my son said he would not share the Wagyu beef. The mushroom side dish was also wonderful. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Wine list was outstanding. Meal was quite expensive, but worth it!

We've been to Ninety Acres a number of times. On this trip, food was average for the money. Great atmosphere and cocktails are very good. Service was also just OK as we literally had to chase down the waiter to pay the check. As we were celebrating multiple birthdays, kitchen was very nice sending out ice cream to each individual. Unfortunately, not rushing to make another reservation.

Service was pretty poor, we sat for 15 minutes before being acknowledged, our server seemed rushed and was non existent throughout the meal. Food was okay, not worth the money at all. This place is for the well off and they don't show the prices on the online menu so you have no idea what you'll be spending, be prepared to spend $200 at very minimum if you plan on leaving satisfied. The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant itself is nicely maintained however it's a terrible value for amount of food and service you receive. If you're well off and can afford to burn 200 - 300 for an average to above average meal then by all means this is your place.

I’m sorry. I just don’t get the hype of this place. The food was lackluster at best. The service was often intrusive with the constant check ins to make sure nothing changed in the 3 minutes since the last check in. The wait stuff changed mid meal for some reason. And that was at 8:30pm. Why would the waitress that started my meal at 7:30 be going home at 8:30? The new waiter might as well not have even been there. We never saw that guy except to get the check. The suggested dress code recommends against jeans. However, every waiter, waitress, bus person wears jeans. For the money, you can definitely do better.

We came here for our wedding anniversary on a Tuesday night and found this restaurant to be extremely disappointing in terms of overall experience, food, and service. The only positive aspect of this experience is the ambiance is very nice in terms of decor.

We started at the bar before we were seated. The bar was not crowded but the service was very slow getting a drink. Even when we were the only 2 people sitting at the bar, the bartenders were talking amongst themselves drinking clementine juice while we were waiting for them to refill our drinks.

We were seated and both ordered a pre fixed menu of 3 courses. The first course I got was the octopus, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a worse octopus dish. The flavor and seasoning was really off and the consistency of the octopus was not fresh. Hard on the outside and rubbery on the inside. Everything you don’t want an octopus to be.

Next was the scallops and pork belly. Talk about frozen scallops and pork belly that was more like a pork roast. The pork belly was also not the right color or consistency. It was a bit hard and very dry. I honestly couldn’t even finish this dish it was that bad.

Lastly, my main course came. I ordered the steak and another disappointment. It fell totally flat. The rice under the steak was the strangest texture it was a black sticky rice that almost tasted powdery... yep! My husband had venison and had a similar experience. I couldn’t finish the steak again...

We decided against dessert because the aforementioned experience was such a Let down. For someone who looks at the desert menu before making a dinner choice, that was so annoying! I mean I just wanted a great dessert.

Lastly, when we were asking for the check it took about 15 minutes when we had to ask someone else. The waitress that came over apologized and said they were busy. Busy...at 9:30 PM on a Tuesday night with 3 empty tables next to us?!

Expensive meal, not worth it. Will not be coming back.

Disappointed this visit. It makes sense now why the restaurant wasn’t full on a Friday night. Started with wrong cocktail; wrong liquor plus ordered on rocks and arrived with soda. Then we asked for sparkling water and received flat. Steak for table was under cooked. We passed on dessert and I’m so glad. I asked for a mint tea and received a cup of clear liquid that smelled minty but there wasn’t a tea bag/pot? Not sure what this was but I didn’t drink it because it tasted horrible. There was even a spoon but I’m not sure what for since there also were no condiments brought out. I have been such a fan of Ninety Acres but all I can say after this night is, I’m glad we didn’t bring friends who have never been. I would have been embarrassed. PS we were celebrating our Anniversary. Big let down for a big bill.

I went with a friend who I haven't seen in a long time so it was a special occasion.
The bar is a nice scene and the wine and cocktails are nice, if not a tad overpriced at $17 per glass on average. As it was just the 2 of us, I assume the waiter forgetting about us was due to him expecting a small bill/tip. All other tables had 4 or more guests.

I ordered the scallops. They were fresh and perfectly cooked. However there was little to no flavor on them. I could have pan sauteed them myself at home with butter and salt. My dessert was flourless chocolate cake with lavendar ice cream. It sounded amazing but tasted plain, like they had added minimal cocoa. A topping of fig paste did not work with it so I scraped it off. My friend ordered risotto which was fine, and her dessert of the pumpkin pie was excellent.

We had to flag them down after finishing our meal and waiting for 20 minutes to clear the dishes. After that we had to remind them for dessert/coffee menus.
When he asked us if we wanted to keep nibbling on some of the items; we said YES and he proceeded to remove them and threw them away, obviously not listening at all. We were stunned speechless but made a point to comment when he came back. He gave us a patronizing smirk. That was when we decided he was getting the minimum tip.

The ambience is lovely with the rolling hills, fireplace and brick exposed walls. I would come back to hang at the bar with friends but the food is not worth the taste, money or the attitude.

Love the Ambiance. It is the small things that make a place not just the good food. It was pouring rain and the valet saw we did not have an umbrella and immediately came over to walk us to the car under a large umbrella.
