A perfect evening. We arrived before our reservation so that we could enjoy cocktails on the patio…such a relaxing spot. We were seated promptly and had excellent service by Sonne. The pacing of the meal was perfect. The bread basket was warm with soft butter. The tomato salad, the main reason we came here, was split in the kitchen and is summer in New Jersey on a plate. We both chose the scallops for entrees. They were prepared perfectly with tasty sides and sauces. Hemant, the sommelier, selected an Italian white that so complemented the meal. This is not our first experience here with various sommeliers and they make such a difference. We couldn’t resist the pecan pie for dessert. Not inexpensive but worth every penny.

Unfortunately this particular night was a bit off, we have had the best visits before, but celebrations of my birthday was not as good. The food was not “spot on” like earlier. The sommelier was fantastic (as always). We will be back!

As always and amazing culinary, ambiance and hosting experience. I must try restaurant! Celebrated my husbands 65th and everything was perfect.

Table nearby was allowed to be very loud. Service was slow and inattentive. Initial table was poor despite multiple requests for a more private table when reserving for our anniversary. Food was good but not on par with previous visits.

Service was really poor, with only one waiter for outdoor area. Had a foul smell almost like sewage. Very average food that's really over priced. It was a waste of money

We specifically requested a quiet, romantic table, and they placed us right next to the kitchen. When we requested to change, they did accommodate us, however, the tables for two guests were right on top of each other. Even though nobody was speaking loudly, you could hear the conversations of the tables surrounding you, and it had very minimal privacy. For the caliber of this restaurant and for the cost, I would’ve expected a little bit more

This beautiful and classy country estate has an elegant restaurant . The service and ambience is charming. However, the food does not meet expectations. Most dishes come with too much sauce and accompaniments that do not go well with the main dish. As an example, The Hamachi Crudo comes smoked and drowned in a plum sauce.

Very crowded Sat. late summer nite Sat. 8:30p reservation & no avail seat outdoors @ 7:30p, no bar seats avail indoors. Bar could not maje a choc martini, we had change of waitstaff 1/2 way thru dinner. Long delay for entrees for 4 when our waitress left wo telling us. Mushroom pasta course was mush n/c it was over cooked & cooked cream was thick and not prepared properly w/ mushroom truffle shavings that are size of a 50 cent piece. strange beef cut on menu. Don’t recommend Pork dish, salads were nothing special , no dessert , no coffee. At bar was charged for their own sparking water w/ line but at dinner table sane thing asked by us & is refilled continuously. Bread & butter ok at table. Raw fish appy was excellent, valet parking excellent, gorgeous garden flowers when entering. it took 3 hours to order be served & to eat as noted. Don’t think it’s a on-off. They are consistently inconsistent w/ annoying busing people removing glasses and plates when not everyone was finished eating. Was greeted nicely by reception. Finally, fire table outdoors looked nice but too crowded on patio. Won’t be interested in returning any time soon too much competition for the hype. Disappointed
