The Natirar Estate, a nearly 500-acre site atop the mountains of Peapack, is the home of Ninety Acres Culinary Center, which consists of a farm-to-table restaurant, bar & lounge, cooking school and restaurant events, offering unique and exciting menus featuring produce and livestock fresh from the estate farm. The restaurant, along with our private party facilities, redefines what a quality dining experience can and should be. We offer an a la carte menu in our dining rooms, a light bar menu in our bar and lounge areas, and the "Bring Me Food" experience, our interpretation of the tasting menu concept, exclusively in our kitchen dining area.
Service was impeccable. Food awesome! Need more vegan options. Kind of pricey! Wine list was extensive. Drinks not impressive.
One of my favorite restaurants in New Jersey. Always a wonderful experience.
Celebrated my wife’s birthday on Friday evening. Overall it was quite good. As far as food, the yellowfin tuna crude was out of this world good. Service was good as well. However, there are certain things one expects from a high end place like this that were missing. Most notably was the failure of the host or server to transport our drinks from the bar to the table. Making us carry our drinks, possibly spilling along the way, was eyebrow raise worthy. Perhaps it’s a policy or perhaps it was poor training - either way it was the one thing that detracted from an otherwise very good experience
Food was delicious and the atmosphere was so classy.
Delicious as always. Great atmosphere, food and service! Will definitely keep coming back!
Everything was fantastic as it always is!!
Been here before, just a great place for a romantic dinner or a bigger event with friends and family.
Great food and service, tremendous wine list.
Arrive during the day to see the property and stay late to enjoy all the amenities.
Gum on my seat leg damaged my trousers. Other than that, the meal was very nice.
IT WAS AN AMAZING RELAXING DINNER PARTY WITH FRIENDS.
I love Ninety Acres, this time had a mishap with the front desk upon check in, since they cancelled my Open Table reservation. I love the food, the ambiance and the wine collection. Thankfully, Open Table credit me with the points after I reached out to them. Other than that, a wonderful dining experience. Since we were in a group, we order a few appetizers/dishes for sharing: The 3 cheese platter, fries with aoli , 2 pasta Bologna and scallops was more than enough food for the four of us.
Food was great, drinks were great, and service was great!!
Excellent and unique venue. The staff was extremely cordial albeit just a bit inexperienced. The bar staff was excellent.
I was a little disappointed as we were a large group and we were not allowed to have some order pre fix if everyone was not willing to do so.
Excellent! We enjoyed it a lot. Very nice place to celebrate our 16 years wedding anniversary. Thanks!
This is a NJ treasure. The drive in and setting is spectacular . Our service was impeccable . The food was beautifully served and delicious. We ooo’d and ahhh’d over every delicious bite. It is expensive but quite a treat.
Bring me Food was an amazing experience and highly recommend. Over the last few year to 90 Acres over six times from NYC. Best place to have a romantic dinner. You must visit this wonderful restaurant.
Amazing food, first-class service and a great atmosphere. Love the different menu options. Go early for a drink at the bar and outside during nice weather is very relaxing.
First time. Did not disappoint. I love the casual elegance and attention to detail. We did the 3 course meal and loved the presentation and time allotted in between meals. There was no rushing. And I love that they did not take my plate away until my husband was done with each serving. The food was delicious. We will be back.
We have been to Ninety Acres many times and have loved it. The restaurant is lovely, the staff is very professional and nice. The time, however, we were disappointed in the food and the service. It just was not what we come to expect from this restaurant. The service was very good, but not what it used to be. We had to flag people down to get a refill on iced tea, no one cleared the table of empty glasses and such. The water was only refilled once..used to drink a sip and the glass was full again. This is what we had come to expect of this restaurant. The food was very disappointing...lacked taste and the wow factor. We are thinking a new chef perhaps.
Whatever, has changed, please go back to the way you were.....we will try one more time thinking this was an off night.
Very nice ambience and setting. The food was not great, not at all.
We are foodies... It was so good, I can’t wait to go back. Drinks at the bar were great, food was delicious, and service was fantastic. It’s my second time there and won’t be my last. We did the prix fixe menu so it was 3 small plates, each one was better than the previous.
We visited Ninety Acres to celebrate my wife's birthday and it was our first time. We liked the relaxing and elegant atmosphere. This is a place where you can dress up nicely and will blend in. Interestingly we had a whole group of attendants serving different part our orders. The place has a nice bar with some innovative cocktails and excellent wine selection with a nice wine rack display. The food was plated nicely and was excellent. We had trout and venison for main dish. The only thing I think could take some improvement is adding more options to the dessert menu. Overall we are very happy that chose Ninety Acres for cocktails and dinner. We will definitely return. Recommended.
I had been wanting to go here for some time, after seeing it in numerous articles about NJ dining. Everything looked perfect and I was so excited to celebrate my family birthday dinner here! Unfortunately it didn't even come close to meeting expectations. I had read others recent reviews and hoped they were wrong, but I have to agree with most of them.
The service was poor, and the courses took a very long time to come out. There were more people working than I've ever seen in a restaurant, yet we had to wait 40 minutes for our order to even be taken. The large amount of space between courses really ruined it for us (about 25-30 minutes). The servers were friendly and nice, I don't want to misrepresent that fact. Our waitress even brought out a little torte with a birthday candle at the end, which I did think was a nice and thoughtful touch.
My cousin had to go outside to make a phone call and the valet guys were standing in the vestibule apparently cursing up a storm. Not a good look.
The food was ok, good even. But nothing memorable. The portions were small and with the large amount of space between the courses I was still hungry when we left, and with a $400+ bill this should not be the case. The dessert menu was odd for all of us, so we skipped that. I went home feeling disappointed and unsatisfied.
The restaurant is loud, and not cozy like I expected for a historic location. I was looking forward to an amazing evening, and to having a new amazing restaurant to go to, but this entire experience was lackluster at best.
Birthday celebration - nice touch with Cava. Dinner was delicious - everyone loved the scallops. Service excellent
I really like the food at 90 Acres but the service was unacceptable for any restaurant and especially for such a high-end restaurant. The waitstaff kept trying to get our party to order more food and in general did not have any finesse in how they interacted with us. One person at our table ordered a $20 glass of wine and asked if he could get a larger glass for the red wine and the waiter argued with him.
They also did not time everything appropriately trying to take away plates before we were done.
The restaurant is gorgeous and the food has been very good over the years but the poor service makes a $500 meal + $100 tip for very poor service not worth it (for a party of 5.)
Service was exceptional as was the atmosphere and food.
Watch the drink prices however---the whiskeys etc are very pricey
Always consistently good food and attentive service.
Always expect 5 star experience. Am never disappointed!
Everything was exceptional, the food, the service, and the ambiance. We'll be back!
Our favorite special occasion spot. Excellent food, drink, and atmosphere. You can't go wrong with what you order - we've never had a bad meal.
We had 4PM reservations, we were served in a prompt manner, but my wife's Wagu steak and risotto were room temperature.....
Whenever that happens, it is very disappointing. The anniversary dinner loses its charm. The staff member offered to have it corrected, but that ruins the whole concept of sharing a meal together.......
Wonderful evening. Attention to detail. Allergy friendly . Amazing execution
Food and ambiance incredible. The service has been going downhill for a couple of years though
Great food and amazing service. The staff was very attentive and informative. Never dissapoints!
Over priced. The hostess was not polite when we walked in. We had to wait 15 minutes for our table. Service was slow and meal was below average quality. $32 for undercooked risotto
Amazing! Always wonderful food and ambience.
Very nice restaurant, amazing cocktails & wine list. Food is good, but I have had some dishes that were too salty. I have only tried the prix fixe and the bring me food menu, so I cannot speak to the quality of their bar food. The location is beautiful and the ambiance is warm and romantic. However, it is a rather loud restaurant.
Great ambience, fantastic specialty drinks, and of course, outstanding food. We had the tasting menu and everything was tasty and good portions, I left wondering why I don't come here more often.
Pretty sure I won't be back after this last visit. We were seated in a location so dark that I couldn't read the drink menu, or wine list. Yes, I could have pulled out my cell phone and used the flashlight like I saw others do, but that's goofy. I am sure the restaurant staff have seen flashlights every night, and multiple times. So, why continue the practice of darkness? The Tuna Tartare appetizer was very fresh and tasty, but the Foie Gras was a big disappointment. The citrus and the acidity was so over the top that it ruined the delicate flavors of the fois gras. Plus, it was served so cold that the flavors were hidden. My wife's main course was very enjoyable but the Roasted Chicken wouldn't earn one-star in my book. It was advertised as Griggstown but the meat was totally flavorless. The sauce that came with the chicken detracted even further. The greens were pasty and grainy and the sauce overall failed to add dimension. We skipped dessert. Then, when you get the bill, and look back on the meal, there shouldn't be regret. Yet, there was lots of it.
Perfection. The ambiance. The warm hospitality. The terrific wait staff. Fabulous food. Delicious wine. My fave place to dine in NJ.
