Nineteen & Traditions at TPC Sawgrass Ratings and Reviews
Table of 7 in town for business dinner. Took a long time to get our food. Also my husband likes to drink Ketal 1 orange vodka to drink the waiter brought him grey goose w lime and never mentioned they didn’t have ketal 1. Then he brought ketal 1 but didn’t have orange flavor and never mentioned before serving it—that was lazy!
Usually, dining on the veranda is wonderful given the beautiful golf course view. This time we were attacked by mosquitoes so we had to move inside where it is nothing special. Also, I thought I remembered a more extensive menu. It did not offer many choices, although no one in our party of four had a bad meal.
All three of us tried the seasonal salmon special and it was EXCELLENT! Excellent experience due to great staff and delicious and beautiful food. Always a pleasure taking customers here - they're bowled over by being in the hallowed halls of the home of THE PLAYERS, as well as the quality of the personnel. This is a northeast Florida treasure, for sure.
We had a wonderful dining experience here! The menu has several creative items, the food is expertly prepared, beautifully plated and the outdoor view/ambience is lovely. Even the most mundane, like chicken kabobs from the $5 Happy Hour menu, is elevated to a fine culinary standard. We sampled several starters and then shared one main course. We loved every bite. Service is exemplary as well. We will definitely return!
There were three people in our party. It was a Monday night therefore not busy at all. There were probably 6 tables full. The area is beautiful and I have lived in Ponte Vedra for 12 years. Tpc is gorgeous even if you had given me a PB&J on a paper plate. The server was so sweet and she really was a pleasure. It was her second day and she was quite helpful. The buffalo shrimp app was delicious. The cocktails were well made.
Meal 1- The veal was well cooked and was served at three large medallions. The "mashed potatoes" were gritty and under seasoned.
Meal 2- The duck breast had an even sear and a generous portion. The vegetables were good. The bacon pieces really helped with seasoning.
Meal 3- This person ordered the diver scallops app as an entree. They first came out and were undercooked. The manager did make the adjustment and apologized. The presentation needless to say exceeded the taste. The creamy like substance over powered the beauty of the scallop.
This is a great place for happy hour and apps. Not a dinner place. But after a round of golf or a meeting with the girls for wine this is a decent choice. (APPS ONLY RESTAURANT)
Meal was very expensive as we ordered steaks. They were over cooked and one did not come with the Demi sauce. Heirloom tomatoes did not taste homegrown. While they did give us a free glass of wine and a desert, we were disappointed in the value of the meals.
Amazing place! This time we did the very reasonable Sunday evening buffet. Yummy!!! Choice of menu or buffet. Buffet was 2 salads, veggies, potatoes, seafood and made to order pasta. There was also a desert table. The choices are more limited than most buffets but great quality. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It is a beautiful place. Love it!
We had lunch on the patio. The view of the golf course was beautiful. It was quiet because the course was closed due to preparations for the Players Championship.
Food was very good. Between us, We had the beef sliders, flank steak salads and a grouper special. Everything was delicious. Our waiter Zach was awesome.
We went for a dinner on Sunday night. Unfortunately, when we go there they did not have their menu, they had a buffet. I was disappointed as there was not communication that this would be the case, I even called the restaurant to confirm reservation.
That being said the buffet was only $25 which isn't bad considering what an entree on their menu costs, but there was really not food. There was salad, a meat, chicken and 1 veggie. They also had a pasta station. We did the station and I asked for no garlic and the chef put garlic in it by accident and then just "picked" it out. The dessert tray was completely picked over and had only about 10 desserts left.
Our waitress was amazing on the other hand and the service was great. We never had a dish left on our table and always had full glasses and new silverware.
I hope we can return another time and give this place a shot. I was glad my friend who was in town could at least see the venue and experience TPC.
The restaurant is very nice and older on the inside. It feels just like a gold club.
