Nine One Five Ratings and Reviews
Previous reviews are much too generous!
Nice bar area but congested. They struggle with people who actually make reservations, we arrived 10 mins early and they were surprised & didn’t have the table ready. Calamares were superb, as was the scallops but the Pork Tacos were mediocre.
Three people with only beers, no wine, cost $165, we thought this was very expensive and not good value.
Outside seating was very nice. It was actually pretty cool that evening (in the 50s) and they had set up propane heaters to keep us feeling more like Key West. Service was excellent. The Ink-dyed fettuccini with local grouper was delicious and we shared the Chocolate Mousse with rum for dessert. Next time we are in Key West we will definitely go again.
Forget the special request section in your reservation. We requested the same table we always like, going back for at least 5 years. We dined there three times in little over a week and never was able to site at that table. The answer was always "we can not guarantee requests made on open table." One time it was even made over the phone.
By far one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. From the moment we sat down the waiter gave us attitude. I was given the wrong food and instead of fixing my order the waiter told me that the kitchen was too busy and that he would not be able to give me the correct food and would instead just provide a small comp on the bill ($15 on $250 bill) . Very disappointing as I have been coming to this restaurant for the last 3 years and have referred several friends and family..
Booked In November for NYE table at 9.15pm. Table not available til 10pm . 1st course served 10.40pm, main course 11pm. Waitress was embarrassed by appalling service and gave one meal and cocktails FOC but didn't make up for terrible NYE experience. Apparently under new management and very hit and miss. No manager to be seen on NYE.
New Year’s Eve had a $99 per person mimimum with a special, limited 3 course meal. The meal was up to Nine One Five’s standards but the value for the meal and a half glass of champagne was not there and, as frequent diners of the restaurant, disappointing. Further adding to the disappointment was that both rest rooms smelled like port-a-potties. We had never experienced that in our years of dining there.
We were anticipating our dinner very much but were very disappointed. We made a reservation and were seated at once. After that we were ignored for almost 30 minutes. Finally we asked the hostess to help us and we finally ordered. The thing we went there for (Sangria) they were out of. We finally had to chase down the bus boy to obtain some bread and butter. When our meal finally came it was over cooked and cold. We were very disappointed since we had heard so many good things about this restaurant but the service and food were not very good and we will not be back.
We had been given a coupon for complimentry wine with entree, however as soon as I presented to our waiter we were treated like second class citizens. We were not offered bread, and he was very short with us. The hostess was wonderful, the table was nice, the food was very good...just a shame that we felt awkward the whole evening because of the waiter. It was our one and only bad experience with Key West.
