Nine O Bar & Grill Ratings and Reviews
We had a very nice Mother's Day brunch. The food was great. The server was nice but forgot to bring us a different choice of condiments after offering to do so. A little slow at getting the bill once it had been requested but we fortunately weren't in a hurry.
Always great food and service. Cioppino was surprisingly tasty with lots of seafood. Steaks were cooked perfectly with great sides. The only disappointment was the dessert...apple cobbler was just okay...they could have done better with a bit of cinnamon for flavor and a nice crunchy topping instead of a limp piece of crust.
When we walked in, they did not have our reservation written down. Even so, we were the only people in the restaurant. The food was good and the price very reasonable. The service was good, and while it was a nice experience I most likely would not travel down from Woodinville to eat here again.
If you're looking for a quick bite, this is not the place to go. I come here often since it is close to the office, staff's are nice but service is slow -getting food or getting a bill -noting each time the place was pretty empty. Aside from that, food is good.
Two gals needing a long period of uninterrupted conversation came here for lunch. It was just PERFECT... QUIET... Several folks conducting business and several others were conversing. We would and will return again... great location between Issaquah and Kirkland without a lot of traffic.
I got a Passport card from a friend of mine and I took a woman at work who has helped me IMMENSELY to lunch. We got $15 off the meal. But more importantly, it's a LOVELY place with a patio to seat groups, the inside is AWESOME in terms of ambiance and setting and we decided HAPPY HOUR there next time. Food was delicious
Great Food and excellent service. All of the items that we chose were superb. The menu is fairly diverse and the food was well prepared and presented. Our server, Leo, was friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive to our needs. All in all, it was an excellent experience. We'll be back for sure.
I selected this restaurant based on it's location alone. Situated in the Silver Cloud Inn in Bellevue, Nine O B&G is right off I-90, so it was easy to get to for breakfast The food itself was just OK, nothing spectacular, but that is typically for a restaurant within a hotel. Service was slow but the server was pleasant (even though he seemed to forget about our table of 7 at times).
I chose this restaurant for my Christmas dinner with friends. And why? Because my all favorite restaurants are fully occupied by Christmas holiday I felt lucky that I had a table on hold for Christmas Day while I reserve it on Christmas eve!
I guessed the restaurant was gonna be crowded, but not, there was just few customers! That surprised me I could guess that might be the food here is so-so
And I guessed right! Everything is at medium level, but the staff and framework are not bad!
We ordered claim chowder for appetizer, honey peppercorn salmon and ribeye steak for entree, monte cristo sandwich, chef's housemade cheesecake and chocolate bread pudding for dessert, and hot chocolate!
Anyway, I appreciated that we had a great dinner at Nine O bar & grill :)
We had a party of 10 - 3 families meeting up centrally, from Seattle, Renton and Sammamish, meeting up to celebrate the visit of one of the newphews who moved to NYC a couple of years ago. We chose this space, site unseen, because it was centrally located, just off I90, with space for 10 on short notice. This ended up being the perfect spot! Food was much better than typically found at a restaurant attached to a hotel, the decor was nice, and though the restaurant was surprisingly busy for 2 in the afternoon, the space was queit for our large group to easily hear down the table/have multiped coversations. No complaints on the food from our picky kids, and thier bar selection/beer was very good. They had a nice patio that we woud have considered had it been a bit warmer, with a fireplace, which was also surprisingly quiet, given how close it was to the freeway. Slightly understaffed, but staff was freindly and were very accomodating. We had a lot of dietary restrictions and they flawlessy delivered - not snooty food, but quite tasty. The pork shoulder was a real treat!
My wife and I were looking for an easy to get to place to have dinner on the night before my marathon. My pre-race meal these days is salmon, rice and veggies. We booked our hotel through Priceline and ended up at the Silver Cloud Hotel in Bellevue. Lo and behold, Nine O was the hotel restaurant and had a salmon meal on their menu. We made reservations - did not need them because of the holiday there were only a few other people at the bar. Service was good and attentive, and the food was pretty good. I don't know if I would tell you to seek this place out, but if it is a convenient stop it is good enough.
I can't review this restaurant because we did not stay. The only reason I gave it 1 star is because I could not submit this review without filling in something. My daughter and I arrived at our 1:00 reservation time and were told to sit "anywhere." As there were only two other parties there we had multiple choices. The waitress informed us that the kitchen had not turned over so they were still only serving breakfast. My daughter and I debated whether we wanted breakfast at 1:00 but decided to stay as she had to be at work in an hour and a half. Then we were informed that the kitchen was actually closed and we would have to wait 20 minutes for it to open for lunch. I have NEVER been through such a ridiculous dining experience!
It's in a bar, in a hotel, so I'm not sure it would have been kid friendly if it weren't Mother's Day. Given that the surrounds were nice and the buffet was good. The prices were high if the buffet was chosen, but given the day I think the price was within reason.
My daughter and I met for dinner on a Thursday night. Never having been to Nine O before, we almost missed it--it is in a hotel. The bar and dining area are very close together, and it was noisy; hoping to avoid the noise, I chose a table on the side of a partial wall that was away from the bar, and which was also carpeted. Still noisier than I liked--there was a very happy group of men nearby--but it was okay. Our waiter was wonderful, and promptly brought my iced tea, and found out that a slight change could be made in an appetizer, though our food took awhile. My daughter's Greek salad was good, but not the best. My salmon with sauce was excellent, cooked just right. We did not linger because conversation was difficult due to the noise.
I took my lady to the nine*o for valentines day . we both chose the valentine day special dinner ,She got the ribeye and I got the scallops ,both of which were prepared to perfection, the deserts were excellent also. the lobster bisque was good but not up to the entrée and desert's level. We didn't try the salad choice but it sounded like a good mix , I thought it was a great 3 course meal for a reasonable price,$39
As a fairly casual restaurant that's part of a somewhat plain hotel, I expected the food and service to be decent and cheap--an "average" restaurant if you will. However, our waitress was very friendly, kept up with water refills, etc.--very nice, no problems here. The food itself was surprisingly excellent. I had pesto penne with grilled chicken, and it really was delicious--more so than I expected, to say the least. On the other hand, the cesar salad I ordered didn't seem very fresh and had a rubbery sort of cheese on top. Regardless, because the pesto was so good, I had to give the food an overall score of 3/5 (the Cesar itself would've been a 1/5). Overall, a very nice meal for the price.
Reserved a lunch table for seven people - they had no record of a reservation, although I had a computer printout with the reservation number/info, so had to wait while they set up. TV screen was on wall directly above our table and was high volume - they did turn the volume off upon request, but TV screen was distracting. Waiter was polite/accommodating/efficient, food was very good on the whole for all seven orders.
I picked this restaurant out of convenience as I was staying at the hotel. I ordered their sirloin medium well, and what I got was well-done and almost flavorless as it was just the plain meat with no seasoning. The dessert (crème brulee) was better than the main meal, but I've had better.
I think the food here is just average, and would not recommend this place unless you are in a hurry and want to eat where you're staying to avoid an extra trip. Otherwise, drive to the Factoria area less than a mile away and take your pick.
So, we noticed that this place was on the Passport list and thought we would try it out. What we noticed on Open Table was that it said it had a new/detailed menu now, so we thought we caught it at a better time....no. We arrived and ended up walking in the back entrance (wasn't marked) and didn't see a hostess, one never came so we just sat outside. We let someone know we were there and then they came out. The server was very nice and didn't have an answer to why the menu was so very limited and short, I showed her the Open Table description as well. Anyhow, we ordered the Caesar Salad each and they came out wilted and brown...awful. They took them back. We both ordered 2 steaks, both came back overdone. We left after that.
