Nine Fine Irishmen - New York - New York Ratings and Reviews
Restaurant is in Ney York New York. Had a voucher, but chose it based on previous excellent experience. Had a table outside overlooking “The Park”. Golden Knight hockey game so Park was bustling. Little cold until heaters turned on, then fine. Pork chop was fsntsstic, chicken curry was very good.
I have been visiting Nine Fine Irishmen for over 10 years. I stay at Bellagio or Mandalay most of the time. We go to dinner at least once during our visits and often lunch or happy hour. Love the beer, small plates and lunch and dinner food. Bartenders and greeters now know us by sight and some by name. Very relaxing at the bar, outside on Las Vegas Strip or upstairs. Prices are mid range for Las Vegas. Worth the trip. Only problem is parking, very expensive. Walk or take a cab. Have fun.
We really enjoyed our dinners (Shepherd's Pie and Lamb Stew). The beet salad was also delish. However, our service was very slow and somewhat impersonal. The restaurant was VERY loud. Just a warning if you are looking for a nice quiet evening. Prices were a bit high for what you get.
Went with two family members for appetizers, drinks and the entertainment. We had a reservation and were seated promptly near the music as I requested. The service was spot on and we enjoyed the food and drinks. There we a few party goers in the bar area who were loud, but they were just having fun. Irish band was very good.
had heard about this place online and hadn't had the chance to go in years past. wish i would've made it sooner. the irish nachos are awesome. we had food and beverage credit, so made it decently affordable. we went all out and had fillets and a large steak so was a little pricey for everyday, but you can go for cheaper also. excellant food and service(kerri), will definitely be back.
The atmosphere was nice and the service was very good. But the food was lacking. The chicken pot pie looked wonderful but when opened up it was a watery soup with little flavor, instead of a rich tasty gravy that one would expect. My wife had the lamb stew and had similar experience... instead of a tasty gravy it was like vegetable beef soup with lamb instead of beef, and again little flavor. Very disappointing.
We ate here for our first dinner in Las Vegas. Serving sizes are very generous so I would definitely recommend sharing. I had the chicken pot pie and it was really delicious but way too much for one. My daughter enjoyed the seafood chowder which came with two pieces of bread, my husband had the bangers and mash, and my son had the fish and chips. Service was great. Very friendly, helpful, and professional. Thanks so much!
What can I say.. we were seated when we were ready- our server was Kerri, who was absolutely fantastic! We went to order a starter each, and she told us that they were really big, and better for sharing! Boy was she right!! The Guinness went down like nectar, the mains (my wife and I had the rib, father in law had NY steak, mother in law had fish and chips) were unbelievable! So much taste. No long waits.. food was on the table quickly considering they weren't exactly simple dishes. The only minor complaint was my father in laws steak- slightly undercooked- but I think that was our fault for not stressing the well done bit! All in all a fantastic experience- it'll be our first port of call next time in Vegas!
Brought a party of 8 for two birthdays. Service was terrible and took several attempts to get orders right. The bar was of a Jameson! How does an Irish themed bar run out of Jameson. Food tasted fine, but gave several in our party stomach issues later. Would not go again or recommend, especially with large parties.
