Nine Fine Irishmen - New York - New York
The chicken pot pie was a work of art!!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed the shepherds pie. Hubby had bangers and mash was delicious. Food outstanding especially mashed potatoes. A fantastic dinner!
Worth a stop. Meatloaf and Shepard's Pie were terrific.
Great food and atmosphere.
Food was good, waitress was personable, front desk was rude!
Always good food. Go there every time I'm in Las Vegas.
Had a great time ! Made my 50th that much better. Great food great music
meal was ok, service was ok
Good food, good beers, good music. Nine Fine Irishmen is our " go to" before VGK games when we have the time to sit and relax. The baked brie is unique and delicious. We have had many items and have never been disappointed.
We have been here a few times. This time it was an early dinner so no live band. When the live band is there, it is LOUD but if you like Irish music, this is the place for you. We had the fish & chips and the short rib. Both were outstanding and huge portions of food. Our server was very attentive and the prices are in line with Vegas strip restaurant prices but it's still fairly reasonable. Good value. Highly recommend and we will be back!
We went for our anniversary. The hostess made sure to wish us a happy anniversary. The waitress was awesome. 5he Manager even came over and wished us a Happy Anniversary. They even took care of the dessert. They really personalized the evening. Will definitely recommend other go.
We had the lamd stew and shepherds pie. Stew was good but the Shepherds Pie was not fresh it had obviously been frozen. The hamburger was Mushy and no tast. I’ve had this before and it was always very good maybe I was just got a bad one
Service was excellent and Restaurant very clean
I would recommend this to anyone to e at at
I always enjoy a visit to this pub! The ambiance is magical, with old world touches and personality everywhere. The food is wonderful. Beer & Cheese to start the meal was creamy with just a hint of zing to make it mouth watering. I had a House Salad with steak added, and the steak was treated like the main event. Perfectly cooked and presented with my salad. My guest had a pork chop with a stuffing that was divine. I love the food, but come here for the band. Drinks and a collection of new and old songs and a whole lot of Irish fun! And I really forget I am in Vegas. A great night!
We came back for the Sheppard’s pie which is a must have and we get every trip. This time it was very underwhelming. The mashed potato topping was super
thin and runny. And there were huge chunks of meat (too
big to chew). Our drinks were a bit weak too. Overall not the best visit and we didn’t stay to order more.
My date and I decided to try this place out based on good recommendations from Yelp and Tripadvisor. (It also helped that it was a very easy distance from our room at the MGM Grand.) We sat in the interior of the restaurant on the second level and had a nice view of the bar below. We ordered the baked brie as an appetizer and absolutely LOVED it. The cheese was served with a sweet fruit glaze over a puffed pastry with toasted baguettes. Sadly, our main courses were a bit more underwhelming. I ordered the tomato salad with a side of chicken and my date ordered the lamb chops. As expected this time of year, the tomatoes were pretty flavorless, but I was surprised by just how bland the chicken was. There was too much gristle in what was largely an under-seasoned and heavily overcooked chicken breast. The lamb chops were flavorful, but there was a lot more fat than meat on them, and I didn't care for the barley/spinach saute that they served with it. For the overall cost of the meal, we could have eaten much better food at a different restaurant on the Strip. This is more of a place I'd recommend for drinks and appetizers— not for a full-course meal.
There were 6 of us in party. Food was great, service was good. We were in our own booth that was very private so did not experience the ambiance of whole restaurant.
The whole family dined here before a Golden Knights home game. Rossalyn was our server and she was outstanding. The beers were tasty (great selection). I had the meatloaf. It was yummy, on a bed of mashed potatoes and green peas. Everybody loved the food.
On our must visit list every time we visit Las Vegas.
Great food, drinks, service and entertainment! Receptionist’s weren’t very knowledgeable about the entertainment and what time they started etc.
Dined here before the Golden Knights game. Everyone raved about the food they had. Great beers too. The only draw-back this time was they seated us right behind the band. Pretty noisy.
We booked our reservations to allow time to eat and make it to the hockey game. We get in to our table within 15 minutes of our reservation. The decorations ambiance on that level were great - we loved them. We were sat at a table directly across from the live band & immediately noticed that we were unable to enjoy ANY sort of conversation with our friends across the table, or even with each other sitting side by side due to the extremely high level the volume was set at.
We decided to make the best of it. Our waitress was personable, but could not hear us place our order, so we had to point at items on the menu.
We were very excited to try the “Spicy Shrimp Cocktail” appetizer; however upon trying it, it seemed the BBQ sauce was placed on the plate rather than any form of anything spicy, or anything that resembled cocktail sauce. We brought it to our waitresses attention & asked for cocktail sauce. We were then informed that what we were served was in fact the chefs “version” of cocktail sauce. We did not like it at all.
The rest of the dinner, however, was delightful. The Tomato Soup was fantastic. The heirloom tomato salad was refreshing, and surpassed our expectations. The Sheppard’s pie presentation was so creative, and the flavor was very good.
We would return, but would avoid at all costs, going for dinner during a live band, and the “spicy” shrimp cocktail.
This is a must each time we visit Las Vegas! The band is great, request are welcome. The food is great.
Kids first visit to Vegas and a great place to dine in NYNY.
The food was spectacular! The server was one of the best servers we’ve ever had. She was ultra friendly and very professional.
One of my favorite places to drink on the planet, I love this bar, the band, the atmosphere. Stayed at the New York New York just to be closer to this bar.
Service and food were great!!
Pretty darn good. Disappointing beet salad, tons of lettuce not enough beets, goat cheese, etc. the chicken pot pie was great. Server was just ok. She wanted to go home.
Loved the gluten free menu - thank you!
Hostess was unable to find reservation. Food was excellent. Bussing table started before we left table.
Waitress wasn’t very attentive. A drink spilled and was never offered another beverage. Had to ask for water at least 4 times.
However the Bread Pudding Dessert was very good
Great service and the food was outstanding, as usual.
Good food and reasonably priced for Vegas
Very authentic Irish Pud. Had a great meal, followed by some great live music.
After we were seated and ordered a drink the waitress told us that we had to order our food soon because our table was only for one hour. She said if we wanted to stay longer she would move us to a another table right now. We didn’t think we had a premium table to begin with ( small table for four people) so we ordered and left. No one was sitting at any table next to us the whole time.
Sat at the upstairs bar. Great bartender! I had the chicken pot pie...incredible!!. Great beer selection.
Our waitress was great and the food was very good!
Fun staff - great food and drink
Great food and reasonably priced. Sure wish the staff were happier. Very few smiling happy staff, except for one bus boy who seemed so caring that i thought he was a manager when he stopped by our table to ask how the food was.
I have frequented NIne Fine Irishmen for over 10 years. It never fails to impress me. I sit outside on Las Vegas Blvd. in the Spring, Summer and Fall. The outside bar is perfect for people watching and always seem to strike up a conversation with folks from all over the world. Inside we have a special, romantic table my wife and I try to get for dinner. Very private and cozy. We also enjoy the bars, one upstairs and one on the main level. Both are fun. We have gotten to know several bar tenders and have fun teasing with them. This is a no miss guarantee.
Wonderful lunch. We always have the steak salad with the dressing on the side. Great food and strong drinks.
