We stopped in for lunch. I ordered their top grade hamburger and my wife had the chicken pesto sandwich. Both were extraordinarily delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant as they are planning to move to Goshen with a new name THE PHARMACY.
Excellent service and Food!! Enjoyed a delish Birthday dinner
Went for restaurant week menu, but waiter said they do not participate in program, however, currently on restaurant week list of participants. I had scallops with truffle oil, but too heavy handed with truffle oil!
Delicious nina’s! I’ve been wanting to dine but my husband was hesitant. We’re italian and he just doesn’t think restaurants can match our home cooked italian meals. He was pleasantly surprised and I was thrilled he wants to return. We went for lunch. Ordered the Brussels sprouts which are delicious. He had a Caesar and raved about the homemade dressing. I had the tuna Nicoise, half of which he ate with glee. We will now become regulars. Delicious.
Unfortunately they had a gnat problem and they were getting into our drinks and food had to keep waving g rhem away
Very disappointing. Salads drowned in dressing. Rack of lamb was good, everything else not worth the money
Great food good place to hang out with freinds calm and peaceful would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal
Nina is such a chill, laid back restaurant. Awesome staff! Brunch is amazing! The potatoes were definitely my favorite. The chorizo omelet was amazing! Very warm, welcoming atmosphere. Definitely stopping in again next time I visit Middletown!
My first visit to Nina and will not be my last. Menu was great, food was hot, tasty and served quickly. Wait staff was there when needed for refills of beverages and questions. Loved it.
Live guitarist was way too loud
After reading a few reviews and visiting their website, I was optimistic that the experience and food at Nina's would be worth the money. After the brunch my wife and i were extremely displeased with this restaurant. To begin, the menu for Mother's Day was the exact same menu offered for Valentines Day, two different holidays, same menu? My wife had the frittata which by reading the description she thought it would be appetizing, far from it! The frittata was cold and potatoes greasy. I had the salad with salmon which was drenched with balsamic vinegarette, the salmon was overcooked. The bread we had was a mix of muffins and Italian, both cold and appeared to be store bought-terrible! This restaurant definitely needs work, maybe the cooks were too busy but the bottom line is for a $29.99 brunch per person my wife and I expected a much better experience. To close, we definitely will not be back
I had the BEST French toast ever!!! I know I'll be back!
Extremely happy with my meal. Food was to die for.
Loved having dinner here with a dear friend! It was a delicious meal with very good service!
We were there for Easter brunch and it was very empty which surprised us. Although it was that empty they tried to sit us at a table flushed to a radiator and we asked to move, he host said he had to see if he could move us. Mind you there was only two tables filled in that room and it was 123o and they closed at 2pm. Luckily, they did change us which we were happy about. The restaurant had a nice vibe with nice decor. Easy parking too.
We had a very attentive server who provided us great service. The food was good. We will go back again and try possibly their dinner menu.
Freezing in the restaurant which the waiter admitted when we asked him to turn up the heat. He said he couldn’t it’s controlled by the landlord and the waiter said he was cold also. C’mon guys. This is a fairly pricy place for this area, figure something out so your guests are comfortable. And you don’t need to blast the car music in the dining room. The food is very good but if I had that experience again I would not go back.
Wonderful ambiance in downtown Middletown, NY. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items.
Ask about the playing cards stuck to the ceiling!
A great place to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday.
Love the food and the decor at Nina's Alex was a wonderful waiter and attentive. 2 things that could be corrected. Noise level does get a little high but could just be acoustics there and can't be improved. I and my guests felt lighting was extremely low. That could definitely be changed. Otherwise, meal was excellent - had clam appetizer which was really good and lamb chops were excellent.
Food was excellent
Would definitely recommend
Was seated almost immediately and didn’t have to wait long to be served
The food was excellent and Alexander gave us great service. My only issue was that they had my reservation but did not mark it down, leaving me to wonder if I’m getting charged a cancellation fee
Have been eating here since it first opened.
Never had a negative experience till now.
Food was good, however, service needed some tweaking. No bread plates on the table. Received a teaspoon for my soup. Music on Valentines Day was terrible & too loud. Will try again when it’s not a holiday.
My husband and I were the only people there on a Sunday evening. They had no bread no desserts and everything we ate was underwhelming. What kind of restaurant has no desserts!!! They said they ran out of both from the night before. They clearly didn’t care about providing the following days customers with a good meal. Won’t go back.
Always my go to place!!
Never a disappointment.
Was there for New Years Eve. The service was horrible. Waited 15 minutes after seating just for the waitress to come & give us a menu. There was 45 minutes between soup & main course which had already gotten cold. We couldn't ask our waitress what was taking so long because she seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth. Our only consolation was that everyone else seemed to be treated just as shabbily. The table next to us had their main course delivered about a minute after their appetizer was served.
We USED to frequent this establishment quite often, but the last couple of times it's been quite an aggravating experience. If you're going to charge top notch prices you should have top notch service.
This wonderful restaurant was recommended to me a few years ago. Each occasion I have eaten here, with either friends or family, I have not been disappointed. Menu staples are excellent, the specials are delightful, the drinks & wine list are fantastic, and the service is attentive but with space to breathe. I am glad to have found Nina's & continue to wish them every success!
I took my Goddaughter (15 years old) for brunch to Nina’s on a Sunday afternoon. We had a really nice time. She had the cornflake crusted French toast and I ordered the Mexican burrito. Both dishes were delicious and plentiful! We both took home doggie bags.
The decor is cozy and welcoming. I love the brick walls in the dining area and the bar/lounge set-up as you enter the venue. Bartender and waitstaff were very friendly. I was surprised that the restaurant was nearly empty on a Sunday afternoon. I would definitely go back again and maybe check them out for dinner on another day in the week.
Had to be one of the best meals we have had in quite some time. The fried calamari appetizer was cooked to perfection. The filet just melted in my mouth and the short ribs were juicy and succulent. I am still thinking about what an amazing meal it was days later. Can’t wait to go back.
Had a lovely birthday brunch there with a group of seven. Food was exceptional, as was the service. I have already recommended it to friends and will definitely be returning.
Have been going thee for at least 2-3 times a year with excellent results.
This time the food was truly terrible.
Our waiter was extremely attentive and apologetic when food was late however honestly we were unaware
As we walked in, the ambiance looked great. As I sat it was a little tight and then everything went to the floor from there. The menu was outdated and even though the menu sounded good the food was poorly executed. They use frozen bread to start of with, the appetizers were okay, but the entrees were horrible. I got the salmon with spinach risotto and it tasted very salty and the appearance looked like grits. Horrible experience and never going back.
Had a special evening with a special friend. This was our 3rd time here.
Food was excellent, service was wonderful. and it was a great evening.
Great staff with amazing service. I would recommend to friends and family.
My favorite spot in town! Always delicious! You won't be disappointed.
We opted for this restaurant for a small gathering with out-of-town friends. We chose Nina because we had been given a recommendation, and it was rated highly on Trip Advisor and Yelp. Unfortunately, we must have caught them on a bad night. They were understaffed and service was very slow. We started at the bar, but found the bartender inexperienced; our drinks were not as good as they should have been. Our waiter was friendly, but had continual excuses for slow service and menu items that were “frozen solid” or otherwise unavailable. On a positive note, the food was terrific, even though it took a long time to get to us. In the end, we came away embarassed by our choice and will not be going back.
I was very luck to have found this place! What a great dining experience! the food was excellent as was the atmosphere and the service. You can't lose with a dinner here. I was weekending it in the area and found this restaurant by way of several search engines. I'm glad I did! The area seems to be lacking in the "nice restaurant" area so to find this was like finding a golden ticket. My date asked if they could change one of the menu choices to accommodate her tastes and they were very happy to do so. I could go into what we ordered at length but it seemed every thing we ordered from apps to entrees to wine all just melted in out mouths. Great experience!! Thanks NINA!!
We had an excellent time for our rehearsal dinner for our wedding. They were very accommodating for our large crowd, and the food was absolutely delicious. The handcrafted seasonal cocktails they had were out of this world. We definitely will be visiting again!
Nina was very good & worth the drive since I live in NJ & went there for a 1st date. Other than it being a bit on the "Pricey" side I believed it to be a great night out!!! ;-)
Used to be our go to for special occasions, last 2 visits were less than stellar. Out of all Malbec wines, had no tuna or shrimp to offer. Both of us had 36 dollar filets prepared differently. The normal menu filet had parmesan crust which used to be phenomenal, now it's an average steak with a pile of cheese half melted. Also, kitchen staff was loud and one genteleman was preparing food in a tank top. On a whole it's still a nice restaurant but for a special night out and to pay close to 200 dollars with tip for average food, premade off premise desserts, and questionable kitchen prep policies? We will take our money elsewhere.
