There’s nothing good to say about this place. Walked in and got seated pretty quickly that’s the one star! A basket of stale rolls was brought to table uncovered after few minutes of waiting for the waiter to take our order. As we were trying to place the order, he said I guess you are not ready I will be back. We were ready. You just had to run to another table, don’t know for what maybe to get their stale rolls. Anyway, we placed the order. Two apps and two entrees. Apps came out guac and chips. Again stale chips with a tiny container of quac and thin pizza which was piping hot and tasted like a pizza out of a supermarket freezer isle. I ordered tuna and soba noodles. Tuna was ordered rare seared. Entrees came twenty minutes after the app plates were removed. Tuna was room temperature and medium well and smelled fishy so didn’t eat it. Noodles were piping hot and salty. My hubby’s entree was mostly bread and onion mushroom combo in a ribeye sandwich which had a piece of broken wooden skewer inside. NYC has an enormous amount of restaurants. Skip this one especially if you are staying at the hotel.

The Tuna was not fresh and had a fishy taste to it. The Cheesecake was like a brick. Stored too cold. The food here was just not good for the price. It's basically in a lit up basement

Good Food close to the Train Station We all had nice seafood dinners, the rolls were good and the entrees were fresh and healthy. Two of us had the Chilean Sea bass which was served with shrimp wontons and vegggies in miso broth. Our other guest had the Chicken bowl. and it was full of veggies too. The bottle of wine that we purchased was delish and only $50. We’ll come back to this restaurant again if we train into NYC for a show or sporting event in the future.

Had not been here for over 3 years. I took a co-worker to lunch for the first time. Everything was as wonderful as it was 3 years ago. I love the ambience, decor, food, service and the warm hospitality by the Manager was amazing. Our waiter, Jorge (George) was excellent. I think they should play a little soft music it's pretty quiet and people can hear your conversation unless there is a crowd. Overall, experience is wonderful and of course I will visit again and recommend.

Lovely place to have dinner before a show at Madison Square Garden. Delicious food, good drinks, and the staff is VERY attentive. The staff knows to get you out in time for a show. You just have to cross the street and walk one block to entrance to MSG or Penn Station.

From the minute we walked in we could tell it was going to be a great experience. We got there about half an hour before our reservation and they seated us immediately. Every staff member we encountered was exceptional. Food was also exceptional. Highly recommend.

Food and presentation was great. Portions were generous. Host and staff were attentive but not overbearing. We were going to an event at the Garden and they were adept at getting out our food in a timely fashion without being rushed. This is not the first time we have eaten at Niles and it won’t be the last. Very satisfying.

Hidden gem just outside Penn Station. Perfect for pre-game at MSG or a leisurely dining experience. Don't let the connection with the hotel scare you off....not a typical hotel restaurant...head and shoulders above.

Great meal before seeing a show at MSG. Wife and 3 teenage kids are usually very picky, but everyone enjoyed their meal. We had Chilean sea bass, shrimp and scallops, burger, wings and pizza. We will definitely dine here again.

I will definitely go back! The hostess was most accommodating and wait service was very attentive, especially considering how busy it was. Also I'm very glad to have discovered Niles as it's cater cornered from the NJ Transit entrance/exit of Penn Station. Great jalapeno margarita, btw!
