Nikolai's Roof Ratings and Reviews
We went to celebrate a birthday. Arrived early, were seated early and well taken care of. Our server, Manuela, was awesome. Provided excellent suggestions and information about the foods. The food was exceptional, flavorful and creative. Overall we found Nikolai's to be very accommodating and a perfectly romantic Atlanta skyline setting.
Through and through a wonderful experience! Vessie was an impeccable server and was very knowledgeable about all the food we ordered. Scallops are a MUST! Brussels sprouts, lamb, loupe de mer, and the grand marnier souffle.. it was all delightful. Thankyou Nikolai's roof! We will most certainly be back ❤️
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed I experience at Nikolai's Roof. The ambience was great and the food and service was excellent. I really enjoy the view that we had of the city and based on the time of time (after 7 pm) we really had a good night view of the city.
The Braised Beef Piroshki served at the beginning of the meal really set to the tone. The puff pastry was very crisp and beef was excellent. I would highly recommend this!
Our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive to all our needs. He even provided a anniversary presentation at the end of our meal. I would highly recommend everyone eating at your restaurant based on the things I mentioned above.
A little pricey but but you should know that going in. You leave happy and not worried about the cost because the service was superior, the wine list was interesting and the food is fabulous. Go for the caviar. If the cost troubles you get one serving and share. There is plenty for 3 or maybe 4. The next time I am in Atlanta I will try to go again. You must plan ahead because there are only 22 tables if I counted correctly.
We had a romantic evening where we enjoyed the fixed menu that included a delicious appetizer, wonderfully tasty salmon, and a luscious dessert. Each course came freshly prepared at a relaxed pace. We had window seating and the view was outstanding. The live guitarist softly playing contemporary tunes added to our lovely evening.
Food was great, but service was slow and not very friendly. Though the view of the city was amazing, the restaurant itself I was aesthetically cold. I know it's in a hotel, but it really felt super hotelly, and lacked character and ambiance. A shame, because their food was excellent.
We were celebrating an anniversary and it was an awesome celebration. We did the six course tasting menu and it was so delicious. The lamb is a must eat and the diver scallops were cooked to perfection. We had a window seat and viewing the sunset as well as viewing the city at night was awesome. I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
Wow! If our entire experience at Nikolai's Roof could be summed up in one word, that would be it. I took my sister here for her birthday, and we both had a marvelous time. We were seated by the window, and were promptly welcomed by Vassil (an outstanding server whom we would request by name again!). All of the food was amazing! We had a four-course meal. I had foie gras which was divine, and an excellent borscht for my appetizers. Sigh! It was wonderful. In addition to the borscht, my sister had a kale salad with blackberries and an avocado mouse. We both had lamb for our entrees. This was one of the best racks of lamb that I have ever eaten! Vassil carefully paced our meals; never once did we feel rushed, neither did we feel neglected. For desert, we enjoyed a heavenly Grand Marnier souffle. You MUST try this! I would highly recommend Nikolai's Roof to anyone wanting an upscale, memorable dining experience. Compliments to the chef and the staff for a memorable evening.
We were running late but called ahead and modified our reservation while en route; all hassle free. Stan, our waiter, was very attentive yet unobtrusive. Food arrived as expected in a high end establishment and was quite tasty. My wife enjoyed the lamb chops while I fully enjoyed the beef tenderloin. Almost forgot to mention the piroshki and the blue corn bellini appetizers. All said, we'd return for the good, service and amazing views.
My wife and I really enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Nikolai's Roof. This was the first time we ate in this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The filet, halibut, scallops and desserts were outstanding as well as the mixed drinks.
Stan did an incredible job of taking care of us and was very attentive to everything we needed, without being over-zealous.
The dining room was a bit smaller than we had imagined and the views, although nice, were not of the heart of the city. The bar area has the nicer views of downtown, so I would recommend checking these out before you leave.
Overall, I would absolutely come here again. Truly a great experience!
