Food was Excellent. Had the Skirt Steak. Was tender and cooked to perfection. Enjoyed the Cheese Plate. The Chocolate Mousse was delicious. Had a table with a view of the river. Beautiful. Our server Dan was excellent.
Our servers Ben and Anne were outstanding!
Wonderful food and service
The food was hot and Very delicious. The staff was helpful and courteous.
The cocktails were phenomenal, lamb chops and wedge salad were delicious and the patio was the perfect summer setting!
Classic and absolutely delightful. Everyone was kind and invested in our experience. Our server was wonderful, knowledgeable and made spot on recommendations.
The entire inn, restaurant and bar is gorgeous. Easy to get to and fantastic off the street parking.
Attentive service, elegant setting, great food, and pleasant view of East Island Avenue. Calm and comforting.
The best place in town for a wonderful menu, excellent service, and extraordinary view
Service was beyond Excellant. Heidi had the Lobster Bisque Pot Pie that was so good.
I had the Scallops. Done to perfection on a bed of Slaw Salad that was perfect.
Great view of the street and walkers.
Great night. Highly recommend.
Wonderful people, food and setting. A great setting for our anniversary dinner, followed by a lovely walk along the Mississippi
It was a beautiful hotel and restaurant. The service was superb. It was our friend’s birthday and was a perfect place to celebrate.
Four of us had lunch at Nicollet Island Inn. We had an excellent server. There was no pressure to move on and we had a very pleasant, leisurely lunch. I had the chopped salad with grilled shrimp and the 3 other diners had the omlette special. We were all quite satisfied with our meals. There is a short but very interesting wine list. Coffee was excellent.
We were there for brunch. Our meals were great. We had a very friendly server and welcoming hostess. Looking forward to returning.
The four of us shared two terrific appetizers and then ordered four different entrees -- all of which were delicious. Plenty of food -- I had a doggy bag! The wine was also fine. A delightful evening....Phyllis
We had the brunch corn beef hash and a wedge salad...........the hash was awesome! Best ever! Our service was very pleasant and attentive.......the waiter was very good.
Will be back again.......soon!
The service was a bit slow but the waitperson nice. My food was better than average. The ambiance is quiet and pleasant. My friends and I enjoyed ourselves.
We celebrated our 7 wedding anniversary by having Brunch at Nicollet Island Inn. From the Host down to the bus staff, the service was impeccable and unparalleled. Our server Daniel deserves special consideration for all his attentive service.
My wife and I had a fantastic brunch at Nicollet Island Inn. We had the corned beef hash and it was absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere and easy parking too.
Waiter Dan was a hoot. Great food. Nice ambiance. The whole package.
Was a great spot for a special occasion - not cheap but worth every penny!
Terrific omelet!! Love the salmon salad. Always peaceful settings and great service.
Had lunch with a colleague. Very nice setting, service was friendly and attentive. Lobster roll was very good, if a bit spendy.
We have dined at the Nicollet Island Inn several times. The wait staff are great - engaging and professional. Their strength on the menu is appetizers and sandwiches. Dinner entrees are very average at best. Not much flexibility to accommodate people with food allergies.
Gluten free options are very different then what the regular menu option is. They should have separate descriptions or menus available.
The Nicollet Island Inn has always been one of our very favorite restaurants! We missed it during Covid and were very happy to return!!
Although they have three lobster dishes on the menue, we could not even get two orders of lobster cakes and we were there at 6 pm. They had about 6 white wines on the wine list, none were available, only the house whites. We asked if they had just re-opened but the waiter said they had been open since January. Are they planning to close soon?
It was decent but overpriced!
Wonderful venue, always good service and good food. A nice experience.
Waited 20 min before I got up and asked for some service. Food took forever to come out. I ordered the steak and lobster benedict. Steak was pretty much overdone. I got a drizzle of hollandaise sauce. Waiter barely came by to refill water and when he did, he said his spidey sense told him we might want water. I didn’t think that was really funny given we were waiting forever for water. Another table wanted their umbrella up and we had to help them push it open. The waiter never came over to assist and instead provided instructions when we had some trouble. I had high hopes for a great brunch and was greatly disappointed.
We enjoyed a delicious brunch, unique cocktails and a fantastic
Overall a decent experience. Wine list (white) was greatly depleted. Walleye was excellent. Seafood linguini was good, but greatly overpriced at $40.00. Dessert (cheesecake) was a disappointment--no real flavor and the advertised "berries" was a single strawberry cut in 1/2 . No espresso or cappuccino, really? The regular coffee was very weak--dishwater. Server was very good. Will give them one more chance.
It was a decent experience until a party was escorted in that was so loud, it ruined the rest of our dinner. They were literally FaceTiming people from the table and were completely oblivious of the fact that they were the only loud group in the entire restaurant. Staff/management did nothing about it. That's not the ambience I would expect from a place like this.
It was a lovely and peaceful evening at Nicollet Island Inn.
Our waitress was Ann and she was amazing!
Nicollet Island Inn, lives up to it’s reputation of being romantic and charming. The Inn sits on a small Island with fantastic views of the surrounding shores of the Mississippi. We celebrated our 7th anniversary together dinner at the Inn. Our initial greeting was warm and inviting, something that always helps to start the evening with calm anticipation. The service was professional and attentive and each of our courses arrived without rush and with good timing. The cuisine was wonderful and our paired wine (Prisoner Zinfandel) an excellent accompaniment. Espresso and chocolate for dessert is our tradition and a warmed chocolate chip cookie with rich French vanilla ice cream was the perfect ending to a most enjoyable dining experience. We will certainly be back and recommend with confidence the Nicollet Island Inn for any dining occasion.
Say in the bar. Nice ambiance, great waitstaff.
The patio, food, and general ambiance was very nice. However, our server persistently interjected himself into our conversation, and really crossed the line when trying to pressure us into ordering dessert with our lunch. I think it was innocuous, but his social awareness was really deficient.
Fabulous brunch. The steak and lobster eggs Benedict and mimosas were perfect. The Nic never disappoints, a beautiful setting, elegant, great service, and of course awesome cuisine.
Brunch is terrific. Their bacon best in the city. Drinks are delicious and window seats are beautiful. Love this place. Staff is the best!
