   We ate in the restaurant's outdoor patio area and enjoyed the sun and quiet along with excellent service and food. This is one of our favorite restaurants and we return frequently.

   It took 15 min to get seated after we timely checked in for our reservation, and 20 min after we got seated to get our server’s attention to come over to our table. When she finally did, we were told that the restaurant is short-staffed, but that shouldn’t be our issue to deal with. People come to restaurants for service just as much as for food, and the restaurant either needs to resolve its staffing problems or take less reservations or just do takeout, especially when imposing a mandatory 20% service charge (which was completely undeserved in our case as service continued to be very minimal for the rest of the meal). Fortunately the food was delicious, most of it came at the same time, and the server eventually did respond to our repeated requests for assistance. It was a frustrating experience but we enjoyed sitting on the lovely outdoor patio where it was quiet and loved all the dishes we ordered (sausage pizza, wild boar pasta and fresh salads). Wine and cocktail selection was good and we made the best of our evening (which due to service issues took an hour longer than anticipated).

   We celebrated a special birthday with a party of nine and were blown away by the experience. Before we even arrived the host was able to accommodate a change in our party size and make it work for what we needed. We had a beautiful, private space on the back patio, and our server was incredibly gracious and knowledgeable, welcoming both the adults and children/teens in the party. Every dish was delicious, and special, and the wine selections were beyond what we were expecting for a small neighborhood restaurant. This was our first experience with Nicoletta's, and we can't wait to dine here again. Thank you!

   We were there to celebrate my birthday, had a 530pm reservation. We were seated right away but waited a very long time for service, then 30m for our food after we ordered. It was such a long experience with few visits from our server (ran out of water/drinks twice). The kitchen side of the restaurant was sweltering, like to the extreme that we were all visibly sweating. The market side is so much better. I was really looking forward (for weeks) to our visit and I was so disappointed. I honestly didn’t want to leave a tip (I did) because it was that bad. While I understand the reviews are reputable, I feel like your money is better spent elsewhere.

    This is simply my favorite Lake Oswego restaurant. Sat outside on the shaded patio for Mother's Day Dinner. Everything was delicious! Spinach Salad was amazing as always and our guests loved the Lamb Shank Dinner and the Lobster Ravioli of the Day! We had the Capasante Scallops and Lamb Shank!!! Two amazing flavorful dishes! The house made focaccia and crackers in the bread basket add a wonderful dimension to the meal. And the gelato for dessert was smooth and creamy. Love the amaretti cookie and biscotti too.     The 3 of us had Mother's Day brunch. French Toast was light and fluffy and tasty. The frittata was good. We did not order drinks. They have a nice outdoor seating area that is away from traffic and quite large. We stopped at their market counter to get a couple cookies for the road. The owner helped us at the counter and gave us the cookies for free. Nice touch! We will definitely be back for lunch or dinner again in the future.

    Fourth time had BFF lunches here & had to write a review about the perfect food and service. Our charming server was as picky as we are & made knowledgeable wine suggestions from their thoughtful list. What a fun place! Ask for the back room & be sure to make reservations!

    This is a great Italian eatery. The atmosphere, service and most importantly food, were all excellent. The difference between this and the Italian chain restaurants in the area is night and day. We sat in the patio and although it was chilly the staff turned on heaters, there was music and the wait staff was very attentive.

    A friend and I went for dinner. The salad verde and clam linguini was excellent. The scallops in the fettuccini pasta were cooked perfectly. I thought there was too much prosciutto, but that’s probably my quirk. Would I order it again? Absolutely! We ordered a Lugana wine. It was delicious.

    All staff friendly, smiling, energetic and helpful. The food was delicious. The restaurant was comfortable and larger than I expected with several large semiprivate rooms. Yet the whole place had an intimate feeling. They had the biggest pizza oven I have ever seen. And there was live music. There is someone at the piano almost every night from 6 - 8 PM. I would definitely go back. It was terrific.

    Food was good but they were sooooooo rushing us every step of the way. We ordered an appetizer two bottles of wine and dinner without salads and dessert. Came out to be not inexpensive - about $100 a person with tip. It was comical how blatantly they were rushing us. Trying to take plates while we were still eating. Boxing up food while other were still eating. Literally throwing desert spoons on the table. Really the most rushed dining experience I’ve ever had. Like speed dating for food if you are into that. So for that reason I won’t return.

    When we made reservations here for our family, we expected a much better quality of food for the cost. There were no salads or vegetables accompanying our entrees, which consisted of a protein and pasta. My Chicken Parmeson tasted like a poor quality frozen piece of breaded chicken and it was on top of spaghetti...period. This restaurant is really just a glorified pizza place, not a 4-5 star Italian eatery.

    Service was fabulous! We were greeted by the attentive manager and she handed us over to a wonderful staff of servers that didn’t miss a step. The food, as always was wonderful — the risotto special was very very good! Nicoletta’s is always nice place to share a meal!

    I took my two friends who were former 3rd grade students of mine to Nicolette's for a special dinner. We had such a wonderful time! The atmosphere allowed us to converse, laugh a lot, and enjoy each other's company. The service we received was outstanding, and our food was absolutely delicious.     The bread basket is one of the best!! Loved the very light breading on Calamari. Each of us ordered something different and food was excellent. One of my favorite places when I come to town.
