Nicoletta's Table and Marketplace
Our waitress deserves special commendation because we were nine women who each needed special items. Our waitress was very patient and saw to each request. This is our fourth year to have this meeting at Nicoletta's and each year it the food and ambiance are perfect. Many thanks and we appreciate using the private room.
Service great! The food was delicious, but way too loud.
Dishes being put away add to the crazy noise levels
Dessert was not as good as in the past. The salmon special with polenta was fair.
Appreciate their kind service accommodating elderly grandmother. Menu choices and food quality excellent and service attentive. Thank you!
The food was excellent but the service lacking. Our salads came before our drinks, our orders were given to the wrong individual and the split dish was handled badly.
This was our first visit to Nicoletta's and did not disappoint. The services was very good and the food even better. Each of us had a different dish and we all loved what we ordered. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who finds themselves in Lake Oswego.
I like it better for lunch. Service for dinner wasn't great and my dish wasn't prepared very well.
As usual, food and service very good...this is the first time we had to wait awhile before our drink order was taken. It appeared as though our waiter was also the bartender and the bar side was busy. I wish the noise level was better....fabrics placed somewhere...whatever. Great place, we just need to shout louder, I guess.
We were welcomed quickly, and seated before the exact time of our reservation.
The meatball appetizer was excellent! Tasty, spicy , and just the right amount of sauce. Would recommend it for everyone.
The meals were super as well. The win list was extensive, but by the glass choices were not as exciting.
Truly some of the best Italian pasta dishes we have enjoyed in awhile. Wish it was closer to downtown Portland!
The ambience was great but the food was not the greatest. Had lasagna and it was so small you could finish it in 8 bites. The bread served with it was burnt. Spaghetti my partner had was way too spicy. Not well blended. It has so much possibilities.
Our table was in a traffic area looking into the kitchen (5 ft away) very expensive. The place is divided into 4 section, fine dining, deli market, reg dining, take out and pizza delivery. Did I mention very expensive for very little. I will say the bread basket was great.
Food and presentation is beautiful and a great place to eat and see old friends!
Friendly. Relaxed atmosphere. Food good; not really good, not great. Server seems abit confused about menu details.
Location is in a strip mall so has a bit of a “ store front” feel. Open dining; tables are close together so it isn’t intimate/romantic. Service friendly and prompt. Our group had the calamari, Veg Lasagna, Chicken Parm, Lamb Gnocchi and Wild Boar ragu. All were very good. Menu is ala cart so nothing comes with your entree other than bread at the table. Shared the Chocolate Mousse cake which was amazing. Open dining means noise but we had no problems conversing in normal voices. Overall a good experience. Felt it was on the expensive side.
Very slow service. The wait for our entrees was 45 minutes. Would not recommend coming here if you have anything else scheduled afterwards.
Thank you Nicoletta's for complimentary Anniversary Sparkling wine. We enjoyed the atmosphere and our service! We came here due to Nicoletta's being our first date, when the the Pearl location was open and decided to try Lake O. Great space, great wine and great flavors.
Our meals were great, I had the Cioppino and didn't realize it would come with chopped sausage in it, I was looking forward to crab! My mistake for assuming all are served with crab. My spouse had the Gnocchi Di Agnello. He said the flavors were excellent but was looking forward to a Leg of lamb and not shredded meat as it came out. Overall great experience and EXCELLENT service, i'm sorry i can;t remember our waitress name but she had glasses and were her last table on 11/16!
As usual, the food was so good, enjoyed every bite and our waitress was very sweet and personable. We were sitting near the bar at a tiny table, and my husband could hardly hear, so I asked the hostess if we could move, and she was awesome. It was busy, but she didn’t get upset, she moved us and we had a great night. It’s our favorite place in LO!
Nicoletta's is one of the most consistently excellent restaurants and caterers I've ever been to or worked with. Great food, good prices, great service and charming ambiance.
For many years they have provided a standard of performance that all other restaurants could try to emulate. I've taken numerous friends to their place and every one has agreed and made it a favorite. ;
Congratulations to them for being so good!
I have been to Nicolettas before and was so impressed with the food and service. We returned to bring a friend for their birthday. The kitchen was out of two dishes, one which we would have ordered, and one member of our party had to settle for their third choice of wine because the first two were not available. The kitchen had also run out of one of the desserts listed. I understand it is difficult to plan ahead for how many portions will be needed each night so that food isn’t wasted, but this was our first experience at any restaurant being out of so many items. When a member of our party went to use the salt shaker, the lid fell off and dumped the entire container of salt on their meal. Of course the meal was replaced, but it left someone waiting while the rest of us ate. Of course the food was outstanding but the evening birthday event, which we wanted to be special, was disappointing.
Always a great meal. Our Server was awesome. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and the service was friendly and personable.
Been here several times. Most dishes are very good. They had a nice piece of halibut but a very spicy red sauce on it which over took the flavor of the fish. When you arrive for some reason they don’t have bus people that bring you water Brad etc. you have to wait for your waiter to arrive which when they’re busy you can sometimes be quite a while. Also, it took quite a while to receive my beverage from the bar. They may want to consider hiring some bus people I’m busy weekend nights to help the servers
Matt was an outstanding server. Made great recommendations and was super attentive. Great personality and recognized me when I returned - which for a neighborhood business is key. I will be back and ask for Matt.
Food was excellent, service was a little slow even though we arrived at 5:15 and only 1/3 of the tables were occupied at that point, Had a table right next to the music speaker which was quite loud. Hostess was very accommodating in turning it off. Al in all a very pleasant experience
We loved celebrating my friend's birthday at Nicoletta's. The cracker and bread with olive oil was a perfect starter with a Chianti, and the dinner was delicious and in appropriate portions. The servers graciously waited for us to have quiet conversation and settle our dinner before enticing us with delicious desserts, as well. And then, Surprise! They added a candle to her dessert. We will come back again!!
Really fresh food. Great service. Was our first visit, and it was only lunch, so it wasn’t packed. Not sure how loud it’d get but I definitely recommend reservations for dinner hours. Will go again.
Dump the piano. Our waiter kindly moved us to another table where it was not as loud. Too much for a small place.
We had a wonderful time! Great food, great service but the restaurant was cold. My husband and I had to keep our coats on throughout dinner, but we will go back.
Our waiter was spectacular, especially given he had way too many tables to service. This is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants and even if not in my neighborhood, I would travel for Nicoletta’s. Tonight was not one of the best experiences I’ve had. My Spinach salad soggy with way too much dressing and the pasta primavera was very disappointing. Extremely heavy in an oily sauce, lacking flavor. I took a few bites and the dish didn’t make we want to go further. Too oily and the noodles too heavy. They do many things right but not a cream sauce. Should have got my old standby, lasagna.
Love the food. A great go-to place in Lake Oswego for Italian.
Awesome dinner and great service!
The service was outstanding and the food was delicious, the menu was varied with something for everyone, and the atmosphere was very special. We had a wonderful evening together.
Love the market place next door. All enjoyed their food.
The service was great
My friends really enjoyed their time at Nicoletta's Table. However, it would be helpful if the menu marked which items could be gluten-free. I sent our server back 3 times (poor guy) to ask about various items, & struck out every time. I ended up with the spinach salad, which was tasty. Our server also had a problem getting the bill sorted, as there were 5 of us on separate tickets, which he knew at the beginning, yet it took 3 times to get it right. It's a good thing it wasn't busy yet, & we weren't in a hurry.
Great restaurant for a birthday celebration. Our waiter was wonderful, the food was fabulous. Ceertainly a place we will return to.
Our waiter Matthew was wonderful. The prawn appetizer is out of this world and so are the Ravioli and Cannoli. The only problem was the spinach salad was a bit oily and not much taste, but best place for our 34th wedding anniversary:)
First time. Found on Trip Advisor. We were headed to the play across the street that night. Omar was our server. Very attentive and eager to please. We tried several things and shared back and forth. Ordered a nice bottle of Chianti. Had to skip dessert because we were full.
Food and service were great. Room was a bit loud. I go here every year for my birthday and I love their patio. They make a great aperol spritz too!
