   Service was really slow for a weeknight, and the server had to come back and ask us for part of our order again because he forgot. Otherwise a pretty basic experience but I was disappointed because I was with 3 out of town colleagues.

   I was playing with the Groupon I feel I overpaid for the food, because all the extra charge. I feel for what you paying for the food and the amount of food came out to our table it was not worth it.

   Food was pretty good... Other than that this place trys to penny pinch you they add random charges to your bill and when asked what it is they give you attitude... Asked to speak with the manager and he had a worst attitude than the server.... Will never go back

   We went here for dinner the other night and had a really great time! I can see what people mean about the service being a little slower, but our waiter was attentive and gave us some space to eat and enjoy our meal (which we liked). It was also a Thursday night so not a lot of people in the restaurant. Food was delicious!! We had salmon, steak, and a salad. The portions are hearty, but not too overwhelming. Everything was hot and seasoned really well. Overall we were really happy with our experience and would definitely go back!

   The otherwise good dining experience was ruined at the end of the evening because you can’t split the check. They only allow payment in cash or using 1 credit card. While this is stated in small print on the menu, it is such an unusual practice that, I feel the server should have made us aware before ordering. I won’t be able to take business colleagues there again due to this.

   We were visiting from out of town and were looking for something nice on the water. The atmosphere was wonderful but service was terrible. The waiter was rude and treated us terrible. We told him we wanted separate checks and he rudely said if we read the menu we would know the don’t do separate checks. He never came back to fill our water. We were short a table setting and asked twice and finally had to get up and get one ourselves. When paying there was no receipt provided and not an option for the tip-it was automatically added and was on the tax also. An all around terrible experience. The beautiful setting does not out-way they way they treat customers. Will never go back and advised the hotel who recommended them to not send anyone else there.

    Host ignored the reservation purpose (anniversary). Server staff took about 20 minutes to greet us. No manager in sight. We were offered other tables’ food several times, and other tables were offered our food. The food was acceptable but not exemplary in any way. The server was very friendly but overwhelmed and took 30 minutes to bring us the check and close out!

    We were seated at our table and were not waited on for at least 15 minutes. We had to call a waiter over to our table and then the other waiter had to go find our waiter. After that the waiter was on point.

    We had chicken wings for an app. They were very crispy and tasty. I had the BBQ Shrimp. It was delicious. Very large portion and sauce was perfect. Rest had burgers and fries which they enjoyed as well. View is very nice and service was great also.

    We had made a reservation online. One of the table seating options was “Outdoor Patio” and that was what I chose as we wanted to sit outside near the water. When we arrived, the outside hostess told us that “we cannot make a reservation for outside but he would do his best to find us a seat.” Taking a quick look around, there were plenty of outdoor tables and chairs that were empty. I told the hostess we had made a reservation online for outdoor seating. He told me “Yeah, you can pick it as an option but I’ve been told we’re not allowed to do outdoor reservations.” When I asked him why it would be an option on the website, he told me “I’ve been told it’s on the website but it isn’t really an option.” We were seated quickly. My alcoholic drink was very watered down. We ordered burgers and were offered no topping options or condiments for our burgers. So they were very plain and bland tasting. We were eaten alive by mosquitoes and heard other guests complaining about them as well. Due to not wanting to be bitten the entire evening, we left early and didn’t really finish our meals. From the rude service we received as soon as we arrived, to the non existent service we received once we were seated, and the low quality of food we received, I will not be returning.

    The food here was pretty meh—tasted fine but nothing to write home about. And the service was alright—I’m sure they’re understaffed which is not the server’s fault. However we needed an umbrella opened because it was very very sunny and we were told they couldn’t because it was too windy. It really wasn’t windy… I think the main reason to show up would be the view by the river but tbh there’s a lot of other restaurants in this space and I’d bet their food was better.

    We showed up and were met without a host. A passing waiter told us he's being us to his section in a minute, then just left us. After another five minutes, another told us to seat ourselves in a different section. So we did, and we never saw a waiter in the section once. I got us menus and water from the bar, but after a 15-minute wait (35 minutes total) we gave up. What's the point of making a reservation and showing up if you're just going to be ignored?

    Everything was fine except the place was short-staffed and we had to wait 15 minutes to be acknowledged before we were seated. Food was good and reasonably priced. Especially considering the waterfront location. Tables were packed tight together, but that was more of an issue for the servers bringing out food.

    This restaurant has a wonderful location on the water and has been one of our favorites for many years. Sadly though the food quality has gone down recently. It just seems they are relying more on a waterfront location to draw in customers. Hopefully a return to better food quality will be coming soon or we will probably not be coming back.

    Noise was unbearable at times because of the flood protection barriers . Good was ok . Wine had incredible amounts of sulfites in it .

    The server never came once to check on us during our meal. We would have to look for him rather he came up to see if anything we might need. Food was of good quality and fair price for the location. It was an ok experience.

    I had a wonderful time on my birthday!! Very nice scenery, nice restaurant, family oriented, relaxed atmosphere, very polite and professional. My waiter was very professional and attentive. The food was good and reasonable price. Will go back again.

    Food was good - but not for the cost -- but I do attribute location to part of that. The facility was really nice - our waiter was wonderful! The woman who was at the hostess booth, must have been having a bad day, she wasn't the friendliest of welcomes to an establishment I've never been to, but our waiter more than made up for it!

    It was a nice atmosphere. We ate outdoors. My salmon was cooked a lil too hard my potatoes wasn’t cooked enough or the broccoli. My friend had the Louisiana meal I forgot the name of it it but it had shrimp in it he said he liked it and he would get it again. The bartender was nice and attentive. I would go back again but I will try something else to eat. But overall it was nice.

    Restaurant was nearly empty and we soon found out why. Even when we were the only table occupied in the place servers were hard to find and got our orders wrong. Food was cold and tasteless. So far we have not been able to find ANY decent restaurant in this area.

    We ate outside at a table by the water. The weather was glorious even though it was the middle of February. Our server was very attentive (there were few people having lunch outside that day) and our only competition were the seagull who tried to steal our food. No wonder--it was delicious!

    I highly recommend making reservations! The website offers indoor and outdoor seating but in person the staff informed me outdoor seating is based on first come first serve basis. (Witch contradicts the reservations) Thankfully the staff was able to accommodate me & my family with abt a 15min wait. The food & scenery are top notch. Also the chicken tacos that come with watermelon are extremely delicious!

    On a nice day, a go to place to dine outside by the Potomac River in Georgetown. Always a nice experience. Parking in attached Parking garage is convenient.

    Rob, our bartender and server, was absolutely phenomenal. He made a night amongst old friends even better. I am not from Washington, but I’ll for sure be back when I do come back and visit.
