The food and service was great. The menu recently changed and items we've previously come to enjoy/be favorites are no longer available. But the new options tasted great.
It's a nice place to visit ambiance was good food was ok
The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We highly recommend it. The dinner was equally as good.
Nice place to be great food good service free parking near belt parkway
Haven't been here since I was a kid, happy to see that the place hasn't skipped a beat and the food was amazing. Would recommend to friends and we'll be back!
Nick's Lobster is a reasonably priced restaurant for lobster. The ambiance is almost non-existent, it's rather noisy and decor is eh. However, the food is excellent and our server, Ben, was attentive. In fact, if we needed something, every passing server was responsive. I would definitely return.
This is a great place to stop if you are going to a show at the Kings Theater, since it is on Flatbush ave. I would say give yourself at least 45mins to get there since traffic is busy on that road. The food is great a Nick’s large portions and the staff is excellent. We are going back.
I was very satisfied with all aspects of my experience at Nicks.
My husband and I had a fantastic evening and the meal was great and we are definitely coming back.
Been coming here for years the service is great but the food has really changed, must be a different chef the food really need more seasoning.
Server Ricardo was very nice and professional..food was very well prepared and served
I think I should've ordered something else on the menu; I got the seafood risotto and it was great for the first few bites then took a turn for cloyingly savory (I started to taste some weird flavor). My server was GREAAATTT and the venue itself was pretty (rustic chic with water views). I'd go back and try something else. My boyfriend enjoyed his order (seafood skewers) and I enjoyed stealing off of his place.
I wish I lived closer, happened to be in the area, celebrating my nephew's graduation to NYFD Paramedic
(YEAH, Jake!) and found Nick's in Trip Advisor looking for seafood for lunch. Awesome, from the bloody mary's to the blue point oysters and lobster bisque to the lobster rolls, fish tacos and seafood risotto. Seth was a joy of a waiter and impromptu bartender. Sat on the enclosed patio overlooking a canal. It was all very special!
Always great as usual! Staff is courteous and the manager Katie does a wonderful job running the establishment!
It was my daughters’s 13th Birthday.
Delicious food and pleasant service. First time with my husband for his bday lunch and we both were very pleased.
Enjoyed my experience. Delicious food and beautiful view. Was able to sit near the bay view and it definitely enhanced the experience.
We had a great time the atmosphere. The food was really good.. The music the waiter..
Third time we've been to Nick's and have enjoyed it every time! Great food, great service! Dimitri is always a pleasure and very accommodating. Defintely a favorite! Denise & Chris
Great dinner and deals. Fresh seagood. Always a good experience
Overall nice dining experience
To celebrate a birthday. Service was friendly and prompt. Pacing the meal could have been a bit better. Appetizer and soup were practically served together. Fish tacos, lobster bisque and chowder were excellent. The seafood kebabs had potential but seemed to be steamed instead of broiled or grilled which would have improved the experience. It was plentiful however. Lobster roll was ok.
Passed the place many times..glad to have gone.
Great place. Great Food. Great Service. All with a waterfront view. Met our friends from New Jersey here for our third annual holiday dinner, since this restaurant is a good midpoint. The women had wedge salads and mussels (different types) and loved them. The men had fish tacos, burgers and seafood risotto.
This is our second time here...because of our first experience! The first was for lunch before a Bruno Mars concert at Barclays. We had baked clams, lobster and the seafood risotto. for a great, leisurely lunch with a waterfront table. Food was delicious and service was great. Both times we were here for lunch and it was not crowded at all, although it was off season. Great place to meet and eat!
The food was great. We were there for a birthday dinner. Our young children ended up taking part of the karaoke night.
We enjoyed our dinner experience at Nick's lobster...we went there to celebrate my sister in law birthday..great food and great time
My experience at Nick's was awesome. So much more than I expected. I had been passing this place for over twenty years and never thought of coming here. No regrets.
Food was excellent as always! Beautiful evening with a nice view of the water. Couldn't have asked for a better dinner!
Attentive wait staff with a short period of time between ordering and delivery of meal to the table.
Went to Nick's Saturday evening for dinner. It was relatively early (6pm) so it was not very crowded. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful with recommendations. The food came out quickly, too quickly. The appetizers were immediately followed by the salads and the main courses arrived before the first courses were finished. The food was good but very pricey.
Great experience for my wife's birthday dinner. Food was amazing.
I took my mom here for her birthday and we had an amazing experience. The waitress, Maghie was not only sweet and pretty, but also very helpful. From walking in to walking out you feel a great vibe. Everyone is friendly and patient! The food was great! I also love that there is parking. The view was amazing. I can't wait to return!
We enjoyed ourselves this evening. Most everyone enjoyed their meals, although my special (the trout) was salty and a bit burnt. But thank you very much for the free dessert for my husband’s birthday!
The food was very delicious as always. Service was perfect
Nick's has been one of our go-to places for special dinners the past few years. Pros: Lovely waterfront dining; friendly, courteous service; beautiful complimentary birthday dessert. Cons: Food was disappointing and not up to its usual standards. Normally, I would enthusiastically recommend Nick's, but not after this latest outing, sorry to say. Hopefully, this was just a temporary misstep.
Went there before a concert at Barclays Center. Our waiter, Manny, was friendly, professional and attentive. Shared a baked clams appetizer then we had the Risotto Seafood dinner and the Twin Baked Lobster Tails. Prosecco and Chardonnay were great accompaniments. Nice waterfront view, nicely maintained restaurant. We will be back but never to Barclays Center, which had horrible parking, acoustics, etc. We frequently meet friends in Brooklyn and Nick’s Lobster House is at the top of our list !
Every time I go to Nicks it’s amazing. It was my birthday and it was the right place to spend it for dinner.
This restaurant is an A+ I will definitely go back love the food I loved it over there and they don't rush you ☆☆☆☆☆
Fresh seafood, great appertizers and attentive service. One of our go to places.
staff was very professional yet personable
it was also charming to see the chef come out and interact with guest
Im always pleased dining here. I always make reservations so seating is quick and so is service. Food is awesome. I can only speak for lobsters and seafood, not sure what the other food taste like. But i assume peeps come here for lobster! I highly recommend this place. Two for one tuesdays and dont forget to add seafood stuffing!
like everything always dine with my friends and family here. but this time the waiter service was one of the worse I ever had; he never took our order on time , brought our drinks late, gave us cold bread and was not pleasant at all. The Manager/ chef was always great.
