Bill was an excellent server. Knowledgeable, hilarious, and attentive. The food was amazing. The staff was just as amazing.
Beautiful restaurant! We had A wonderful night at Nick‘s! There were four of us we all had seafood, the macadamia nut fish was excellent! Shrimp fettuccine was delicious. Service was spot on! If you are looking for a very special amazing dinner in Maui it is worth every penny!!
Excellent food both in quality and presentation. The staff followed COVID-19 protocol very well. We were seated near (though not too close for COVID-19 protocol) to a relatively loud and boisterous table of 4 that took away from our dining experience. I would not categorize them as rude and I am glad they were joyful but we were expecting a quiet and romantic experience. I'm guessing this was an exception not a norm.
Our dinner was excellent but our server was even better. A very cute Hawaiian guy. Wish I remembered his name!!!
Always a great experience. Have been coming at least once every trip to Maui over the past 10 years
See notes below.
Love the pot stickers
We order the crab cakes which was good. Fresh taste. Only comes with two pieces. We also ordered the pork sticks which had more quantities (4) and were also good. The Nicks drink has NO liquor AT ALL. taste super sweet. We then ordered the mai Tai which was better. Entrees we ordered the rib eye steak which had no seasoning and was horrible. Was not cooked to the right temperature . The salmon was just ok. For three drinks two appetizers and two entrees came up to $200 which was NOT worth it at all.
This is a fantastic spot. Even better than KO, which is supposed to be the Fairmont’s high end restaurant. The staff is excellent, the food is top notch and the environment is great.
Great as always, hope you can stay open. Only thing my wife and I don't like is the preparation of your escargot. You bake a thick layer of parmesan cheese on top that totally smothers the escargot. A small thing>
Nick's was the Perfect place to share our NYE dinner with our family of 6. Wonderful setting, Excellent Food, Outstanding service - we all enjoyed our Special evening. Would highly recommend for any dining, and especially Special occasions,
New Year’s Eve. The food absolutely terrible. Not sure what era the menu is from but boy howdy it wasn’t very good. Seafood sausage was never a thing, deviled eggs were runny and no flavor, lobster bisque didn’t have any lobster and tasted like salt, lamb chops over cooked and not sure what they were served on, ahi tune dry... I could
Keep going on but why bother. Our family ate here years ago and it was not much better but we thought we would give it another shot. Don’t eat here. Over priced and not relevant. Needs a new chef and get with time times.
We LOVE Nick’s and visit every time we’re in Wailea. This trip was exceptional!
We came for our 25th wedding anniversary, Justin was awesome and made the evening perfect
Compliments to the excellent server. She is from SFO and is experienced and polished.
The food quality a d value are poor. The crab cakes had old crab in both odor and taste. Very uninspired preparation, mock like a home cook.
The Maui salad was a messy melange of too many ingredients and the plating was just a big glob blind by avocado.
The Mahi was well prepared but cold, served with improperly cooked jasmine rice and off the shelf chili sauce.
Awesome experience! My wife and I got to celebrate a belated wedding anniversary dinner there (since that is where we ate dinner on the night of our wedding on Maui but i was closed in July due to COVID). Our server, Cheston, was very professional and provided the utmost perfect service. Totally recommend this restaurant to anyone dining on Maui in the Wailea area.
As always, Nick’s gave me a fantastic birthday dinner. Mahalo!
Glad to hear it! Happy Birthday!!! -Nick's Fishmarket
Great place to celebrate a special time. We went there for Christmas dinner and it was perfect. Food, service and ambiance was wonderful.
Dionysia, we are honored you spent your Christmas dinner here at Nick's Fishmarket, and even happier that it was a "perfect" evening. Please come see us again! -Nick's Fishmarket
Nicks never disappoints with delicious food and top notch service. Mahalo for a fantastic Christmas dinner experience!
We are so happy that you had an amazing visit with us! Please come back soon! -Nick's Fishmarket
Nick’s was the highly touted restaurant at the Fairmont Kea Lani. Unfortunately it did not live up to its surroundings. The servers were either inexperienced or incompetent. The food flavor was mediocre. There are plenty of excellent restaurants in the Wailea area- regretfully we chose to dine at Nick’s on Christmas Eve.
The Fairmont needs to decide if it really wants to be a 5 star hotel.
One of the best restaurants in Wailea. The food and service is outstanding, and
the view from most tables is spectacular.
Great food!! Beautiful views! Service was amazing. Friendly staff, and great drinks
We’ve been to Nicks before and really like it. We got Chris for our waiter, the dining room manager, very engaging guy. We enjoyed talking with him as much as we enjoyed the meal, well maybe not as much as we enjoyed the Aubert Chardonnay. I’d never had it prior to coming here but it is our new favorite Chardonnay, boy is it ever good! Maui Wowie salad is great as is everything else on the menu and if you like strawberries, get the strawberries panzini for dessert, WOW!!!
Vacation in Maui
A great dinner and the server was a 10!
Honeymoon. Great food with a great view. Fantastic cocktails with fresh seafood and solid wine list. 10/10 would recommend.
We love Nick’s! It’s a little pricey, so we only visit on special occasions, but it’s definitely worth it! All their dishes and cocktails are mouth watering. You have to try their escargot appetizer and goat cheese beet salad. Meats are always cooked to perfection and their prawn scampi was delicious. Service was stellar (as always) and ambiance is quiet and romantic. Casual attire is okay, but since we go on special occasions, we like to dress up when eating here. Highly recommend this place for a special occasion, date night, or girls night out. You WON’T be disappointed :)
Highest quality food and experience in all of Maui.
Nick’s knows how to give you a wonderful romantic evening! You have to try the strawberries panzinj! Such a fun experience
Awesome food and our waiter Bill was wonderful
Nicks has become our go to place for dinning in south Maui. From welcoming us back as we arrived to pairing us with our previous waiter these Aaron Plackorakis has figured out how to take care of his guests and make them feel welcome. The Aubert wine was probably the best Chardonnay we have ever had. Oh...and the food was outstanding!
CYRUS--BEST SERVER EVER ! Food was delicious, they had us all social distancing which gave us a private-like table...it was awesome!
After an excellent meal the first time we ate there this time the lobster with Mac and cheese was a let done fortunately the cheesecake was very good to end the meal.
Since my daughter and her boyfriend came home for a visit, we decided to have our final night dinner since it was the first for all of us, we were not disappointed . Food was outstanding as was the service. They took extra precautions in light of COVID- took our temperature before seating us, tables that were 6 ft or more spaced apart and all staff wearing face mask.
It's definitely a special occasion restaurant...would go back again.
Our server, Matt, was the best part about our experience. Great guy.
The cocktails we got were lackluster. My Manhattan seemed watered down. My wife got the Mahi, which seemed like it had sat under a warmer for a while. My lamb was fine, but a bit rubbery.
It was not the makings of a $300 meal — the size of our check after tip.
Food was so so
Not worth the money
Nicks is our favorite restaurant on Maui! The ambiance is magical and the service is superb!
Great overall experience
