Nick's Fishmarket Maui
Birthday dinner for my husband. He loves lobster and it was just perfect. Service was very attentive and all in all a wonderful experience
Nice but unfortunately a table for 4 cannot be on the rail.
Everything about this restaurant is average at best, except the view. Save your money and go to Spago. The food and service there is so much better.
Great place for a casual meal
Good food (but nowhere near gourmet) in disappointingly basic setting but with very good service. However, more expensive than the best restaurants in Maui, and therefore absolutely no value for money. A complete rip-off. Definitely not recommended.
Service was friendly. Ordered New York strip. Prepared well, but way too much fat in it.
The food and service, was phenomenal! From the time we arrived, to the time we left. Definitely a Wonderful experience!
13oz “prime” NY strip was amazingly flavorful and tender! Flambe’ strawberries for dessert and it was perfect.
Highly recommend for any special occasion or just because! Yum 😋👌🏻!
excellent, both food and service, very professional
This is like Applebee's seafood style...slightly better view. Not good.
Food was simply outstanding. Service was thorough and one waiter in particular "Bo" I believe, added that extra touch of personality and passion that made the night perfect.
Phenomenal service! The food was great, the fish and seafood were all very fresh. It is an expensive meal but you get what you pay for.... super fresh fish!
Wonderful food, friendly and attentive (but not annoying) staff and a lovely location overlooking the beach. You pay for what you get, but well worth it!
great experience in a beautiful setting
The service was outstanding. The staff made it clear they were there to make your dinner experience memorable. Too bad they can't do anything about the pricing, ouch! The food was very okay, nothing fantastic, which is why the price points were far too high for the caliber of the cuisine.
For the main, both my son and I chose the Mahi mahi, which was delicious! I would order that again. The service was attentive. The evening was beautiful, so outdoor dining was perfect.
The original owner sold his once great restaurant to a lackluster chain and the place has devolved into an epicurean wasteland kept in business by a flock of captive hotel guests. Our waiter viewed the customers as an irritating impediment to receiving his pay check. Chef appeared to have had too many stiff drinks as food arrived at table little resembling menu descriptions...seared Ahi tuna with root vegetables was in fact served as an over-cooked (yet cold) hunk of dry fish swimming in salty A-1 steak sauce situated on a bed of overcooked school cafeteria asparagus smothered with deep fried onions and raw Julienned garlic (I’m not kidding). The food was inedible.
A restaurant of this quality should not run out of standard menu items at 7.00 pm. Lobster was offered in two standard menu items, not specials. We had a 6.30 pm reservation and the waiter told us they ran out of lobster at 6.50 pm. The waiter told us they would offer additional fish to make up for the lobster. When told we did not want that he said “well you should not have ordered that item just for the lobster”. Bad attitude. Substituted with a shrimp dish that was tasteless. Many better choices in Wailea.
We dine at Nick’s every month or so and it is always fantastic.
Spiney lobster Mac and cheese was amazing!sunset was amazing! Service by energetic server Guy, top notch, well knowledge, very attentive. I hope to eat there again!
The food was great, but the service was very slow. Our reservation was at 6:15 and we didn’t leave until close to 9 (which is difficult with kids).
Incredibly great service from the moment we arrived. The front desk to the waitstaff. (I wish I got everyone’s name).
The salmon was easily one of the best salmons I’ve ever had!
Thank you all for a wonderful dining experience during for our baby moon. We will definitely be back!
Wow what an amazing experience. We definitely recommend the strawberry flambé dessert with ‘show’!
I was looking forward to a fresh fish dinner. My Mahi Mahi was sold a "fresh," but tasted extremely fishy. My husband and I both did not finish our meals. I was very disappointed.
Food was excellent. Unfortunately our waiter was inattentive and cold. If it wasn’t for the food and the politeness of the supporting staff, I would have rated it much lower.
Amazing service and food was excellent. Great wine list.
Went to Nick’s for our last Honeymoon meal in Maui! They had a perfect table for 2 set up for us and were sure to congratulate at every point in the night! Was a magical experience with both the food and service being top notch, with a great view! Highly recommend!
All patio seating very nice but blazing hot 1 hour before sunset. Was beautiful at and after sunset. Great meal but the meal does not meet price paid once you add in views you are close but probably can find comparable views and better food elsewhere.
Service was great but the food was very disappointing. I had the vanilla scented lobster pasta and it had way too much vanilla taste to it and the pasta had no taste at all.
Excellent dining experience and great value!
I suppose we caught them on a bad night. The “team service” concept usually works here but they seemed very pre-occupied with a party of 6 near us.
Never received a glass of wine I ordered to have with my entree.
Our steak was very tough, grisly, and fatty. Not good at all for a New York steak at a supposedly high end restaurant. Wait staff handled the situation very well; very courteous, concerned, and accommodating. They took it off the check, of course. This being the resorts main restaurant, we ate here several times during our week stay and were only disappointed this one time.
The staff was extremely personable which gave a great dining experience
Celebrated Anniversary. Excellent service and delicious seafood preparations. The sunset was breathtaking!!
We didn’t actually end up eating there as we had an emergency and had to leave as we were being seated but the hostesses and staff were so helpful and friendly, we will definitely be back our next trip. Customer service here is top notch! Thank you for your great service!
Wasn’t told about the specials and bill wasn’t correct
The atmosphere was beautiful and we had very high hopes. It took a long time to get any attention or service and we were often left searching for our waiter. We felt like a forgotten table at times. The food was good, my husband enjoyed his filet very much. I had the seared ahi, which was fine when I had it. Things got rough when I ended up becoming violently ill a few hours later. I’m sure this could happen at any time, especially with fish, but it was just an unfortunate way to end what should have been a great date night.
A must stop for us every year when we are on Maui. Food is always great and service terrific. The fish with piccata preparation and scallops are the best. Calamari starter was quite good too.
I would give it six stars if it were possible. Everything from when we were greeted to when we left was superb. Our servers were courteous and attentive to our needs and the food was unbelievable. My wife and I were so glad we chose nick’s for our wedding day dinner! Thank you Nick’s Fishmarket for a memorable dining experience.
The food was good but not delicious. Our server was attentive for the most part but over the top with the cheesy touristy service. When we were ready to order desert and he had vanished and it took forever to get it. By the time we did get it we had missed the sunset. The young lady taking photos is terribly awkward. How about just letting us know upfront you can take our photo for $20? I don’t see us coming back here.
