    Our waiter did not check on us throughout the dining experience. He just came to the table to ask us our dinner choices. Did not mention the fact we had a special occasion we were celebrating and also we had to ask for the drink menu and if there were specials. The restaurant was not busy so this was not due to a lack of staff. The food was good but for a $200 dinner, the expectation of service and hospitality was not met whatsoever. The restaurant is also not located on the water, like many pictures show.

    We had an amazing experience. The wait staff was amazing and so friendly and kept our glasses full and our bellies happy. Definitely recommend it to anyone especially for a date night.

    We had a wonderful experience, the staff treated us as though we were the only two people in the restaurant. The food was amazing, however, what made our evening was our waiter , Chris, his customer service was above and beyond, we would recommend Nick’s, make sure you ask to sit in the section that Chris is working, you will not be disappointed.

    I should have know better. Time and time again I tell people to go to the local places and skip the resort restaurants and I should have heeded my own advice but I had heard great reviews. They were wrong. The restaurant is beautifully designed and the ambiance is lovely. The service was wonderfully attentive and well timed. The food will be remembered with regret. To be fair, we are at the Paia Fish Market the day before and ordered almost the exact same dishes so that did not help. The ahi at the Paia Fish market was one of the best ahi meals on the island, the ahi at Nick’s the following night, while the best meal of the night still paled in comparison. Now for the truly tragic. The spiny lobster was so overcooked it was rubbery and so tough to chew that for the first time in my life I had to spit food out of my mouth. I’m not saying there’s not an art to cooking lobster, there is but mostly it is timing and well this was sadly the worst cook job I have ever experienced on a lobster. The accompanying Mac and cheese was rich and lovely but, well if they had tanked on Mac and cheese as well I would have serious questions about what was happening in the kitchen. The third entree was the macadamia crusted mahi and again, the crust had a nice flavor but once again the fish was so badly overcooked. This was made worse for our table because again we had raved about the mahi the night before at Paia fish market that had been cooked to perfection! I think both dishes could have been good if not overcooked the main issue with everything appeared to be a problem with timing or perhaps simple inexperience in the kitchen. This meal was enough to teach me a lesson once and for all, no more hotel dinners! There are amazing food trucks and local restaurants where amazingly talented chefs are turning out impressive and memorable dishes! Find those little gems, spend half as much and eat a meal that will make your mouth water when you describe it to friends!

    Kind of empty dead atmosphere. The server Mike was great. But we waited a long time after our entree to ask for check. Lack luster experience. Food was good but a little over priced. They should try to decorate more. The hotel should have a higher standard in general. Underwhelmed.

    Kia Liani Fairmont Hotel Our excellent valet service including a golf cart ride to Nick's Fishmarket. Our servers, Tristan, David and Chris were excellent! It was a delicious meal beginning with the PotStickers (garnish pineapple/curry sauce) and the '52 Manhattan! Great Thanksgiving dinner!

    Took about 45 minutes to get our meal. My shrimp was very tough. Tortellini was good. We’ve eaten there several times and this time was a real disappointment.

    This place is a very good choice for The Wailea area everything we had was a x Elle t from start to finish. The server seemed in a hurry to get us out. He did not succeed and we had a good time. Service was knowledgeable and delivered

    The staff that was working last night was phenomenal. I have not seen a staff so attentive to the dining experience then the team that was working. What was so impressive was the staff was so young that they were so knowledgeable about what was a fine dining experience. The management and the team should take pride in there training was extremely effective. Thank you for a great fine dining experience.

    Service was a little lacking. The attendants helping with water were really good. But the server was definitely not great. My wife’s wine glass sat empty for the whole dinner.  Didn’t really stop by to see how we were doing at any time during the dinner.

    We went to Nick's for my birthday dinner. The food was disappointing. The service was excellent. It started out well. The drinks were good and the salad very good. The entree was...meh. My husband and I shared the seafood tower. The poke was well past fresh. I've had much better from Foodland. They did replace it with more oysters and shrimp. Everything else on the plate was average at best. Since this is a seafood restaurant, I expected it to be better. We paid nearly $250 for an average meal.

    Best meal all trip. We did all the fine dining in Wailea and I’m picky. This macadamia crusted mahi is unbelievable. Run, don’t walk, to this restaurant. Great kids options as well.

    We always eat here when we are in Maui. Love this restaurant. The Bar was slammed but the bartenders were great at getting us our drinks. Chris was our server and he has served us before when we were here. He is funny, very attentive and does an excellent job. Shout out to Chris.

    Excellent service and felt welcome. They brought us a 40th anniversary dessert that was yummy. However, both our seafood entrees were a bit overcooked. Beautiful setting!

    We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and had a magical evening. A table on the patio overlooking the pool area and further onto the ocean was perfect. Our server and I apologize to him for not having his name here was professional and left us to a dining experience. His recommendations were excellent. Food was perfectly prepared and we would like to say thank you for the perfect night in Maui!

    When I made the reservations, I told them I was excited about having the escargot not once. Did they tell me that they might not have the S cargo until after we arrived for our reservation I was very fortunate that our waiter was such a wonderful person exuberant with his hospitality That we decided to stay. What I enjoyed most was the seafood tower it was delicious

    Greek Maui Wowie was awesome! Their fresh catch fish dish was so yummy too! Highly recommend going for early dinner (right after sunset) and sit outside.

    Not sure if management changed over the years but this restaurant wasn't as good as it once was. Food was okay and service seemed quite casual for one of the Fairmont's nicer restaurants. It's a convenient location to dine if you're staying at the hotel.

    Food was very good. Ambience great. Service was average. Sat down, took 15 - 20 minutes to get a drink. 50 minutes to get appetizers. Like time between drinks and food but found ourselves wondering what happened to our waiter

    Excellent experience! The food from the broiled shrimp to lamb chops to the sashimi and the escargot was incredible! Great attentive service from all the staff and lovely room! Great time
