Nick & Sam's is undoubtably my favorite restaurant. From the service, food, and attention to detail. Everything is meticulously well thought out and created to perfection. Have been going to Nick & Sam's for years now and will continue to go for many more to come. Definitely ask for Teck Tan as your server. He will make sure you and your guests are 100% taken care of and has probably thought of what you needed BEFORE you even ask. BEST SERVICE.

The crab elote is a must try along with the fried calamari. Overall the price is definitely worth the value and flavor of the food. To end the perfect bite, you'll need to order their molten lava cake!

We went to an early dinner to celebrate my friend's 40th birthday. We had exceptional service during our experience....white glove care almost. The complimentary caviar was an unexpected surprise, and I can say I am not a caviar girl, but the opportunity to taste it without being financially responsible for the cost was a big plus. The food was well prepared, and the drinks were fabulous. We even got complimentary glasses of champagne for my friend's birthday. It was a great first time experience at Nick & Sam's!

Came here for our 30th anniversary. Also dined here on our 25th. Back then it was spectacular service and amazing food. I understand it's going to be busy on a Friday night, but it just was not the same. Main issue was two waiters collided somehow and dumbed 2 ice waters into my lap. Of course everyone said sorry, but man come on, after that you have to offer something to make up for that, which was not done at all. I'm not looking for freebees, but wanted my wife to feel like at least there was an effort to appreciate our visit and anniversary besides, here's a towel, you all good? Steak was not that good at all tbh. Our waitress herself was super polite and friendly and I in no way mean to disparage her. Had dined here several times between 25th and 30th with no issues at all. Now when someone from out of town asks me where to go, this won't be my default answer.

Terrible experience- our res was at 9:00 and we were finally brought to a dirty table at 9:45. Staff was so rude about the experience, we left and went to Al Biernat’s where we had a great dinner. Don’t waste your time here!

This restaurant is incredible. From the bang-bang broccoli to the New York Steak, everything was sheer perfection. Max, our server, was incredible and kept on top of our needs while allowing us a comfortable pace to enjoy our evening. This restaurant is a must when you are in Dallas.

Nick & Sam's is a great restaurant. The food is consistently very good. My only issue with my most recent visit was with the service. It took more than 15 minutes before our waiter or anyone came to our table. Everything from that point on was great.

It was our anniversary night. We had to wait 40 min to be seated with a reservation. The place is very noisy and the main dining area is packed in so tightly with tables, you are literally sitting arms length from your neighbor on the right and left side of you. The food came out warm instead of hot. The managers tried their best to turn things around so I give them credit for that. The night had already went downhill. A plus was the bartenders are great. The drinks were amazing. If you are used to real fine dining, I would avoid Nick & Sam's. There are better options that are less crowded, with piping hot food and no wait times if you have a reservation.

Great service. Food was delicious as well. This is a more lively steakhouse so if you’re looking for a quieter, intimate setting, this may not be the best choice. Would go again!

Perfect place to celebrate a birthday and have a special experience, or to dine with friends regularly. All of the staff were on point and the pianist was great. All of the food was exceptional and appreciated the gluten free options and dessert.

Steak was magnificent cooked well with no complaints in all 9 orders. Sides were great like lobster mac and cheese and pan toasted brussels sprouts. There was a problem witb our server he provided service that was probably one of the worst ever experienced at fine dining. The waiter had low patience with new customers and having to explain the menu. The waiter responded with irritated behavior when taking the parties order. The atmosphere in the restaurant did not match the service being provided. The server provided a uncomfortable experience throughout our dinner. For example The waiter picked up plates with silverware and knives falling on the table and on people with no apology just upset that he had to pick the knife off of the floor. He then continued to provide attitude while taking the parties order. The table was confused on why he was upset, you would expect a fine dining establishment to have quality service workers but not 3008 maple ave dallas Nick and Sams. This establishment is running low and patience with anyone new dining at. I would recommend anywhere if you prefer steak, at least you could get met with service that isnt disrespectful for the atmosphere it attempts to give.

We love N&S and have been there on numerous occasions...However, last night we had a table for 5 that was put right in the middle of a major walkway/pass through...so all night long, people were always running in to the back of our chairs...definitely not something that you would expect at N&S???

Visited for my birthday. Waiter was incredibly nice and knowledgeable, food was alright. I enjoyed the sides more than I enjoyed my steak. I ordered it medium well and it came definitely well done but it was alright so I didn’t bother to say anything and have to wait for another steak to be made. The fries and the Mac and cheese are really good though. Bill came to almost $200 with tax and tip and I didn’t really feel like what we ate was worth $160. I’ve tried a lot of other places where I’d rather spend that type of money there but that’s up to personal preference. Didn’t try the alcohol but it seemed like they had a lot so if you really enjoy a nice expensive steak and wine then this is the place for you.

Great Food Great Experience There is extreme wait time due to popularity of celebrations done at this restaurant (anniversary, birthdays ,etc ..) . I think we (customers ) over sit our times at tables causing delays in later reservations for the night… i personally believe no fault at all Nick and Sam’s. I would go again, great time

I had a reservation booked for 9pm and they did not have my table ready until 10:30pm. By this time, I could not sit down and even eat my dinner because of an event I had to get to. Extremely upset with the service and wait time. I brought my friend to Nick and Sam’s to celebrate a job promotion and it turned out to be a terrible experience. Very disappointed.
