Went out for our anniversary. Everything was absolutely delicious! You just cannot beat their steaks. Everyone that works there is always so nice and on top of everything. Always enjoy going there!
Took my wife for her birthday. Yes, this place is expensive but the chef there is a top notch and you get what you pay for. It was the best steak that I have ever had or at least that I can remember. The best view in Springfield for dinner. The staff is so amazing, you are the priority. 10 stars.
everything was perfect! eric and staff were exceptional! it could have not been better.
Ordered steaks for children med. they were rare, no milk for children but they have a childrens menu
Ordered ours med rare, came really rare. Server was not a very good representative of a 5 star restaurant. The busboy was the best thing there, he did a great job
Food and waitress was 100%, the view was beautiful & nice & quiet
The food was really good; appetizers, bread, salad, main course, dessert - all exceeded expectations. Excellent wine and drink menu. What a good out the mistvwad the service. By far the best service I have ever had. Hands down.
They overcooked our steaks, but after they fixed that delicious. The prices are high, but would go back for special occasion.
This restaurant truly earns its 5 star rating
It was our first visit and will not be our last. Rick was fantastic!
Great service, excellent food and very enjoyable ambiance
Food and service were excellent. A great option and value in Springfield.
My visit to Nick & Nino's required about a 90 minute drive from my location. My wife and I were celebrating her birthday and wanted to go somewhere out of our usual dining area. It was well worth the drive. First off I must mention the staff. Extremely friendly and well-versed in explaining all of the offerings available. You know the meal should be good when the staff is proud to work at a restaurant. We had the crab cakes/bites for an appetizer which were delicious. That was followed by Caesar salads with bread. Also good, and the bread was a surprise! Multiple offerings of bread from soft rolls to pretzel bread to toasted cinnamon raisin bread were very tasty. We both had steaks (it is a steakhouse lol) and they were very flavorful. We each had a different crust on the steak and tried some of the sauces, which were great all the way around. For sides, we shared Nick's Potatoes (dreamy creamy cheesy potatoes) and the asparagus also full of good flavors and tastes. At the end we both managed to consume some awesome desserts: my wife had a cheesecake with Kahlua in it and I had a tall chocolate cake. It was hard to decide what to have for dessert because it all looked so good. I have only good things to say about the entire experience (food & service) and it is definitely worth another visit in the future.
Very swanky restaurant and the prices show it. And splitting a meal has a fee of $15, which we thought extravagant! So we shared an appetizer (stuffed mushrooms) and then 2 of us had real meals and 2 of us had appetizers. It was all plenty of food. AND delicious! The mushrooms were very tasty and the lobster bisque divine! The crabcakes were very good, as were the sea bass dinners. Good and service were very good, but the prices a bit much (especially if you wished to split a meal!) Nice ambiance. The lounge next door needs some work; furniture very used and out dated. But the views from the 30th floor were great!
I was disappointed that I informed them of a birthday celebration via Internet and nothing was mentioned at the dinner. When I mentioned it, a piece of cake was suggested but it was nothing special especially at the $8 price. Also the orange sauce and the sweet potato with bacon dish with my scallops wasn’t appetizing. Steaks were superior tho.
Good food, wonderful staff, loved the music. Great way to celebrate our 49th anniversy.
Even though Nick and Nino's is a steakhouse restaurant, the scallops were awesome. Wine list and reference to our meal entree was recommendations were perfect. Definitely will be eating there in the next month - overlooking the city was nice. However, the dessert list was definitely a game changer for our next visit.
First time ever that I rated a restaurant all 5’s. The service was impeccable. The food delicious. The presentation quite appealing. All this in a setting quiet enough for effortless conversation and an appealing view of the city! You will enjoy Nick and Nino’s!
The food was to die for! Rick our waiter/server makes it all worthwhile...He is the maestro of food service and conversation. So in conclusion; hidden on top of the Wyndham Hotel Springfield is a wonderful restaurant that satisfies all taste buds. My steak was G R E A T !!!!
Ask Rick "Nick and Nino's" Maitre d' to try and get you a window table. It was worth it.
The master of the drinks was Mr. Higginnbotham. Talented service at its best.
I have no idea what my wife ordered...but she was in 7th Heaven!
It was our 47th Anniversary Celebration.
Celebrating... 47 years of "bliss" for me and 16 or 18 years of "bliss" for my lovely wife.
First time here. Food was great. Service was excellent. Very nice have our first anniversary dinner there. Would recommend it to everyone
Went there for a mini family reunion/get together. It was very good, the server was great and everyone really enjoyed it.
Absolutely superb dining experience! Our server Amanda S was extremely attentive and answered all of our questions regarding the restaurant as well as some "local" questions. The food was prepared perfectly and was among the best we have ever had. Nick and Nino's is on our "must stop" list anytime we are in the Springfield area. A truly memorable experience!!!
First time at Nick and Nino’s! The experience was wonderful, I went there for prom dinner and the service and food were outstanding.
Best food and service by far,
sea bass and the cowboy steak
best ever. Thank you Nick and Nino for a memorable dinner...
Jenna, our server was very cordial, prompt, professional, and helpful throughout the meal. She made our experience a delight. What an experience is was. Starting off with the delicious firecracker shrimp appetizers. A couple of refreshing drinks, oh how I wish I could remember the names. Peach with champagne, a cucumber with hint of mint with vodka.
A beautiful assortment of bread. My favorite was the cinnamon raisin. The house salads with candied nuts was very tasty. For the meal, I tried the Charred Sea Scallops with lobster tail over sweet potatoes. Out of this world. My wife, tried the filet mignon with truffle crust. She loved it. We had to try each other’s dish. Oh my, such excellent flavors. In addition we tried a side of asparagus and augraten potatoes.
What a wonderful, exquisite evening.
My compliments to the chef.
I didn't think awesomeness could improve, but my latest meal at Nick and Nino's was even better than the last.
Outstanding service, amazing food, beautiful presentation and great view!
5 Star allover from the start to end! Best seafood and Steak. Thank you nick and ninos for a very special dinner
The food was delicious. The service was outstanding. If in Springfield you must have dinner here.
Overall a great dining experience in a quiet romantic setting with excellent food and service. All the food was top-notch. My fiancé got the filet and I got the flight of filets (3 small filets with a variety of house made crusts) and they were cooked perfectly to order and were very tender. Our waiter was exceptional and was very knowledgeable of the menu. Finally, the desserts from the in house pastry chef all looked amazing and the homemade ice cream was excellent. Some decor was a little tacky (ex. candle holder) and I would have preferred a paper menu for drinks and desserts but these are only minor complaints. I believe the prices are slightly too high (about $75 a person), but given they are the only restaurant to offer this level of service and food outside of the Chicago area in Illinois it may be justified.
We had a good evening at Nick and Nino’s. We enjoyed the view while having dinner. Our waiter was very professional and polite and our food was very good and tasty.
We picked this restaurant because of the view. Unfortunately, it was the second time requesting a window seat and was given a table in the middle. I understand that there is limited window seating but we were very disappointed as we had guests from out of town dining with us.
18th Birthday dinner
First time dining there. The view was great! Food and service was excellent!!! We celebrated a birthday with friends. Not a every weekend type place to eat. But a great special occasion restaurant.
I am not one to criticize, but I will this once.
My wife and I have been there on several occasions.
I know you probably don't have control over the
Pinnacle Room, but I have seen better furniture at
Goodwill. As for Nik and Ninos, Rick was an outstanding
host and our waitress was very good. What I did not
appreciate, even though I could have said something,
was them putting the 20% gratuity on my bill. That
should have been at my discretion. It was very small,
I brought a birthday cake my grandkids got for grandma
and they charged me $25 extra for that. That was my
fault, I should have asked first. I had the pork chop,
that was raw and cold. I could have sent it back, but
I don't complain, I just ate it. The prices are not an issue,
and my wife ( the birthday girl ) thanked me for a great
evening , but she told me she would just as soon not go
back. I agreed.
We had the pleasure of being waited on by Rick- an true professional as well as a fine person
I was there for Dinner on a special occasion and had a very memorable dinner. The food was brilliant, the steak was perfectly cooked as per request, the salmon was very fresh. The ambience was very good and the staff was very professional and warm. Highly recommend the Goat cheese ice cream. Bravo to the chef and staff
One of the best b-in rib eye that I've had in Springfield area, the staff are so friendly and professional, highly recommend Nick and Ninos
Great food & the service was excellent. It is pricey though.
This is an excellent restaurant. Anytime I'm in Springfield, for a period of time, I will have the pleasure of dining in this place.
