Simply put, this is the best steak house I have ever had the pleasure to visit. We never miss a chance to eat there when we are in town, Everything is of the highest quality. Just great!

Caleb provided great service and the food was phenomenal! However, the atmosphere was way to noisy and busy for me. I didn't feel relaxed like fine dinning should entail.

We were fortunate to be able to get a reservation for 4 at 7:00 pm on a Friday night (not an insignificant achievement in such a wildly popular restaurant) and arrived a few minutes early and were seated in minutes. We requested and were seated in the small room next to the bar which is quieter and more cozy. We were quickly served our drinks (4 different mixed cocktails) which were all perfectly prepared and delicious and dug into our bread basket while we decided what to have. We settled on a a few orders of crab cocktail and some oysters with a few salads and for our main course- a rare porterhouse for 2, Petite Filet and NY Strip with large steak fries and asparagus. The timing of each course was excellent and the meal flowed easily into each successive course. We asked for some suggestions for wine with our dinner and were very happy with our recommended wine. As always, it was a very enjoyable experience with great food in a very welcoming and professionally run environment. I very highly recommend it for any occasion and would like to recognize Lynn (the Bartender who was working that Friday) for the truly exceptional martinis!

As soon as we were seated, the manager came over and instead of welcoming us he asked my husband to remove his hat, as they don’t allow hats in the restaurant. Then he went on to say, but if you insist I’ll let you keep it on. Why bother even mentioning it then? First impression was negative.

I have been a regular at NYP for a while. Usually it is pretty good but last night was awful. The service was very slow. We ordered the steak at medium and it came out, at best medium well. The salmon was supposed to have been Med - Rare but it too was well done.

We didn't send it back because it had been a long wait and our server disappeared for long periods of time. The baked potato was not served with any garnishes and when I asked it did not arrive until I the meal was almost done.

I like NYP and will go back but I hope this does not become a pattern.

Great food. Atmosphere. Waiter was kind of careless. Poured a drink from a dirty glass into another glass rather than replacing the glass and drink and never asked if we wanted coffee.

NY Prime never fails to be special. WE have been and will continue to dine here with family and friends, as we have for more years then I am willing to admit.

Great service and entertaining food was more than excellent one of my best meal on my vacation

Haven’t had a bad meal yet and we’ve been coming here since it’s inception some 15 years ago. I’ll keep trying to get a bad meal for years to come but I doubt it’ll happen.

New York Prime is my favorite steakhouse serving prime meats , fish and seafood.
The steaks are prepared to perfection, juicy and tender. the best hand cut fries and amazing onion rings!
If you still have room for dessert, treat yourself to a giant piece of chocolate cake.
Dinner at Prime is always a funfilled evening!

It was our first time in this restaurant and I’ve heard mixed reviews about it, but everything was great. I do recommend it.

Always have a great dinner at NY Prime. Place could use some updating decor wise. Also, ladies room is gross.

I felt it was a very average, dated steakhouse. The food was fine but nothing to write home about. Service was poor considering we had two people taking care of us as well as their assistants. We were only a two top so not much was required, but we often found ourselves wondering where our server was. Personally I think the price is too high for what is offered. If the service was better and the restaurant was more contemporary I would have gladly paid their prices. The food is still very basic and bland however. I won’t be returning.

NY Prime delivers! High quality DELICIOUS steaks, sides and other options with impeccable service. The service staff works as a team- very in sync and efficient. Manager and owner available and there to assure all patrons have a wonderful dining experience. Favorites include the 8oz filet, lyonnaise potatoes, mushrooms and the cc cookie!
I would never visit another Ruth's Chris again!!!!! (I also feel RC has not lived up to it's reputation in recent years and been very disappointing.)

BEST STEAKHOUSE IN BOCA

This was our first experience with New York Prime. Unfortunately, it got off to a bad start because the hostess greeted us with an attitude of haughtiness and condescension. We were left a bit speechless by the lack of professionalism. Had it not been a special occasion for a family member, we would have left and gone next door to Seasons 52 or down the road a bit to Ruth's Chris or Morton's. We chose to stay, and ultimately were treated with respect and attentiveness by our server. In several respects, the food was good, but one member of our party received a very inferior steak. When you pay $60 for a piece of meat, you expect it to be superior. We mentioned our dissatisfaction with the server, who immediately told his manager, but nothing came of it. Nothing. The manager never visited our table to inquire as to what was wrong. So, even though there were several favorable aspects of our experience, the lack of customer service left us all with a rather sour taste in our mouths. It was a very expensive, yet disappointing evening.

We were wished a very happy anniversary by the hostess and again by our waiter. The table we had requested was set and waiting. As always, service was impeccable. We unfortunately, although the porterhouse for two, looked perfect, it was so tough that it would kegerator taken a hacksaw to cut. The waiter kept apologizing, replaced the porterhouse with individual filet mignons. They were tender and excellent, but we were really in the mood for porterhouse. Peter Luger it isn’t!!
Although the apologies were appreciated and sufficient; I think an offer of dessert and:or coffee would’ve been “the right thing to do.”

I just feel at the end of my Meal I felt the waiter wanted us to lv so he cld turn over the table again. Other than that our food was delicious.

I requested to be seated up closer to the front. We were seated in the back area. It was so noisy I couldn’t hear myself speak. Very hard to make conversation with our other couple. I’ve been a regular costumer and was disappointed that my request was not honored. It’s much too noisy in the back where they put noisy parties celebrating things.

The steaks were prepared perfectly.

Always love your restaurant; however, I have recently noticed a decline in quality of your steaks. Much tougher than usual, and more difficult to cut with your steak knIves. Otherwise quality of salad, sides and drinks, as well as service were just fine. But not rushing back for tough steaks! Shame, since flavor was great!

If you want the best steak ever, look no further than New York Prime! it is outstanding – we wish we could cook them at home the same way, but we cannot. They are cooked to perfection. Of course, there are delicious appetizers, sides, and desserts – try the chocolate chip cookie. The service also is perfect – we had Matt. Nothing could be better!

Heard great things about this restaurant,was not impressed. It was very stuffy the waiter was not very accommodating ,will not go back!

I really enjoyed myself, it was my fiancé’s Birthday and we sat right near the live music.
Food was fabulous but the desert wasn’t anything special Butter Cake was too sugary.
(And I love sugar so...) coffee isn’t good made with chemical non-dairy creamer, yuck!
Careful if you ask for anything extra, charge for everything! Would recommend, lively bar all around fun!
