It was my husband Birthday 🥳 we didn’t have dessert but I was still shocked that they didn’t bring him a dessert since it was his birthday 😳 this is a first for me because every restaurant I’ve been to gives you a dessert for your birthday oh well it is what it is
Overall the food was good no complaints there 👍🏼

Second time diners. Staff is always attentive. Best restaurant experience in the area. We thoroughly enjoy everything about it. Pricey but well worth the money.

Restaurant name is spot on. A legit NYC style steakhouse - from the perfect steaks and old school cocktails to Sinatra crooning in the background.

Porterhouse for 2 is in Peter Luger league, and bar is top shelf across the board.

Service is unfortunately ordinary (indifferent), but that seems to be happening in quite a few restaurants these days.

“Back of House” gets 5 stars.
“Front of House” gets 3 🤷‍♂️

Compared to Morton’s the steak had too much butter , plates were ridiculously hot ( be very careful) and the sautéed mushrooms too hot and with lots of butter
The quality of the beef was excellent and cooked perfectly

As always, an excellent meal! An 8 ounce and 12 ounce fillet mignon, as well as a16 ounce NY Strip were all cooked to perfection (and delicious).

We had a large Party of 8 for a birthday celebration. We had a reservation and the table was ready for us when we arrived. The service was excellent. Excellent wine list, excellent menu options. NY Prime is pricey, but for a special occasion restaurant, that’s to be expected. All of our dinners were prepared to perfection and the Key Lime pie for dessert was absolutely decadent! I would recommend NY Prime.

Service and food was excellent - a tad noisy however next time I'll reserve a booth!

Our initial order was served and the steak was chewy. The manager was informed and replaced our meal. The second serving was much better.

We requested outside dining, there were only 2 tables. It was a perfect evening, very quiet, we could talk to our friends without having to yell. The entire evening was excellent. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and were presented with 2 scoops of ice cream and 2 warm chocolate chocolate cookies, a set for each couple at no charge. For our main course, my wife and I split an edge of a rib eye steak. This is our go to meal at New York Prime, it never disappoints. Since we were outside, we never realized how noisy it was inside until we were leaving. So, if you don't mind a little noise while dining, I would heartily recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic service and food was excellent. My only complaint would be with the Onions that came with my Steak. I would rather have had Smothered Onions rather than Onion Rings.

I must say that this restaurant really knows how to treat customers I had some issues with the food I’m not even gonna go into that the manager came over the waitress came over they took care of everything and actually took my dinner off because of the problems I had three times and they also gave us dessert they know how to treat customers that makes them want to come back even with bad experiences this was our anniversary celebration with another couple and it seem to be going downhill came back uphill which we all know a good dessert always makes people feel good about the restaurant I want to thank them for taking the extra steps to make my evening memorable

The server was fabulous. He was very attentive. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. The salmon with mushrooms was also great. The brussel sprouts and loaded baked potato were very good. The asparagus was the only thing that was disappointing. The serving size was very small.

My husband and I both had the petite filet. It was the most tender piece of meat we have ever tasted. We shared the wedge salad and the oysters rockafeller both of which were excellent. Our waiter was wonderful. He was attentive and he made you feel comfortable. This was our second time at the restaurant. It was a great experience both times.

New York Prime is exceptional in all ways: ambience, food, and service. Nick obviously wants the finest for all of his customers.

Our experience was amazing! We were seated at a great table and the energy in the restaurant was fun. Service was great, timing of everything was perfect. Food was outstanding.

Excellent as always

Food is above average for this type of steakhouse however it really is overpriced for the meals. My girl ordered the chicken and it was small and dry. Center cut filet was delicious but I doubt it was 12 ounces when placed on the grill. Salad was not vibrant green but rather the lettuce was looking like army drab color. Tasty tho despite the appearance. Sides are good size and price.
No dessert tonight.

We visited New York Prime for the first time for my husband’s birthday dinner. Everything from the food to the service was exceptional. It’s a beautiful dimly lit restaurant with a romantic and upscale vibe. Very busy on a Wednesday night. We ordered the baked shrimp as an appetizer and my husband said it was some of the best shrimp he has ever had. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Amazing quality of food. Excellent service and ambiance

The food was so delicious. We had 6 people in our group that never ate at this restaurant. We all loved it and will be coming back. Although it’s very expensive, it’s worth every penny. I can’t wait to come back!!

Restaurant was extremely dark. Numerous people using their phone flashlights to see. Could barely see the food we were eating. The music was good but the ambient noise level was horrible. Extremely loud in the restaurant. Food was ok but not worth the money. Service was just ok. Our waitress kept disappearing. I had to ask to other servers for drinks and water. I had to walk to the bar a third tine to get a soda.
