New York Grill
New York Grill

8oz Filet Mignon
center cut from grass fed beef tenderloin served with crimini mashed potatoes & sauted vegetables
Wonderful food, environment and service. Definitely returning again.
Service was great. Wish the meat quality was little bit better for the price. Order of filet medium, came out rare. Order of New York’s steak medium, came out well done.
But over all it was a good experience.
Steak was good meat portions were small for the price, overall good service a bit over priced for Ontario
Food was delicious! Service was excellent. wine was middle of the road.
We highly recommend!!
I ordered the Tomahawk Pork Chop... I asked for it to be a bit crispy/charred on the outside. It came out sooooo juicy and tender on the inside and perfectly crispy. Nicole (our server) made sure everything was perfect.
The place is very nice. Service excellent, food was delicious.
Nice place as always.
Did not like
Overall a very nice experience. Food was good, meat quality excellent, but, vegetables were a little underdone. Appetizer was delicious and desert was excellent. Ambiance is upscale and the service was top notch. Only complaint is the value, prices are steep and the wine list is way overpriced.
Awesome as always. Steaks cooked perfect and staff was attentive and helpful with selection.
The drinks we had were perfect. Piano player kept the vibe great. Absolutely one of the best steak houses in inland empire.
Terrible service and over priced. Would not go again.
Valentine’s Day. Everything was great. Food, drink and ambiance. It was very busy so the service was ok. I understand it being a special day but the menu should be expanded. I couldn’t get lobster ala carte or crime brule. Definitely will be cackle though.
Very nice dinner. Valentine’s Day so it was much busier than normal.
Everything was great except the seating which was absolutely terrible ... we were given a table right in front of the wine cellar that was inconvenient because my husband was asked to move out of his seat so the wine can be retrieved from behind him ..when I asked to be moved I was told that All tables where all ready reserved .. I would have believed that but seeing how the place was empty during our entire meal , I think we could have been accommodated .. I’m not sure how reservations are handled there thru OPEN TABLE had I known before hand Where We going to be seated I would have cancelled My reservation... other than that food was great
We were seated in the back of the restaurant and it felt enclosed. We could barely hear the live music.
Our food took long to get; other people seated after us received their food before us. We had a concert to get to after dinner so we had to let our server know.
My husband’s prime rib wasn’t cooked long enough and he had to ask to send it back.
In the future, we will write instructions where we want to sit and when we need to leave. Our servers did update us and were very kind.
What can I say,I was not impressed with this place at all. Valentines Day 2018, I brought my girlfriend and though there was a 2 hour wait, even with a reservation, the menu had a lot of food, the food was excellent and the vibe was perfect. I told her we'd have to go again......2 years later, we go yesterday for Valentines Day and I even put in it was our anniversary. There was NO wait at all this time, the place was dead and the food HORRIBLE !! The menu that she and I discussed and told people for years was made into 5 or 6 choices you can have. Her prime rib was tough and the chicken I ordered wasn't eaten within 4 bites. The waiter was good and the drinks were, eh. My lady ordered a slice of cake after the meal and even that tasted funny so she sent it back. They asked if she wanted another piece and she simply said no....oh and the water they poured into our glass was terrible. As if the ice was bad....Also, I put that this was our anniversary and it wasn't even mentioned by the place. I wont be going back there ever again and was HIGHLY disappointed that the place I gave HIGH praise to just 2 years ago was nothing but trash in 2020. This was a special day I wanted for my lady and it was a dud....I should have went to Ruth Chris....more expensive but at least there, we would have got what we paid for. I paid 200.00 for garbage. Never again, even for lunch
Limited menu on Valentine’s Day was ridiculous, only 2 types of steaks on the menu. No side orders available. Will not be returning.
The services is impeccable and gracious.
Steak was under cooked so had to send it back. Finally received my steak after the others at the table were completing dinner. Also, had to wait approximately 30 minutes for dessert. The server was outstanding and cognizant of the steak and dessert situations. We totally understand he was not responsible for preparing the steak or desserts.
Great food and service, only 10 people in whole restaurant. No atmosphere
Best atmosphere in the Inland Empire for a prime steakhouse.
This was my first visit to the New York Grill. Very cozy and romantic setting. The food was excellent and the staff very attentive.
Corkage fee is ridiculous at a whopping $50 when it is advertised as a $10 fee. Pork tomahawk is not grilled but baked.
Never heard the piano playing even though the pianist was there, and it was the mainreason for choosing that restaurant , poor feeling of New Year’s Eve , went to celebrate the count down with my fiancé but they closed around 10:30 this was not expected at all.
Dinner was a surprised engagement. The waiter new about engagement dinner and service was exceptional
With the holidays, there was only one other party at the restaurant. Service was great and the food was tasty, but I cannot say whether that is typical.
The wait time for our food on the table is way too long considering there were only three tables including us.
My company has enjoyed dining at New York Grill for our holiday lunch. The food was delicious and we received attentive service. The calamari and avocado toast are popular appetizers, the wedge salad and clam chowder are great entrée starters. Filet mignon seems to be the most ordered cut of steak; however, the new york strip and salmon were also tasty. All the steaks were cooked to perfection and savored.
Amazing Restaurant from start to finish hostess was great as was our waitress nice place to visit
The food was delicious, servers were very attentive. Prices were reasonable.
Worst lunch EVER. Ordered at 12;50 and food arrived after 2:10. Folks were walking out before being served. Management non existent. After all this bill was delivered to us at full price. Bad stuff happens in kitchens - but management needs to address and attempt to make right. 0 out of 10.
The food was terrible, the price hefty. The steaks were overcooked and the cocktails were miserable. They need a new mixologist to make proper drinks. We had a 9.00 pm reservation and they were setting up tables for a function the next day. So basically we had a variety servers attending to us as they were all busy setting up tables next to us. I should have known by reading other reviews that this is not a very good place to spend $700+ for 6 people.
Food & service excellent. Nice ambience
We missed some items on one of our meals but overall it was great
For the price of the meal, I got the New York Steak for $44 which came with Smashed potatoes and vegetables. the Steak was warm at best. I have had much better steaks at chain restaurants. the potatoes were really good. I also ordered the lobster bisque which was good. My boss had the salmon that came with sauce that was forgotten until later. This was the first time I have been here and I hate giving bad reviews, but whoever the manager is needs to be checking the food to make sure it is hot coming out. the waiter was really good and had a great personality, not sure if it was his fault the food was not hot or cook. We were one of maybe three other tables there, Wonder why. I don't think companies realize that you get one chance to impress a new customer and with the competition out there, this was a sad showing at best. Ps I am not looking for a coupon or discount to come back. I was looking for a place to take my staff for a holiday luncheon. Glad I am not using this location.
Rather disappointing experience tonight. Service was very slow and our steaks were all over cooked. We unfortunately didn't have time to send them back and our server didn't return to the table to check on the food.
This last visit was not what we expected, nor what we've experienced here in the past. Our server was terrible, and the food was below average.
-The Crab/Mango salad tasted like it came out of a can. Not freshly cooked lumb crab. The mango sauce was flavorless.
-The Salmon I ordered was over peppered and worse, over cooked.
-The Scallops that my wife ordered, never made it to our table, a skewer plate came instead. Our server never came back to check on us. Her assistant refilled our water, and fetched our check when we were ready to leave. Desert was never offered. Our server was in clear view most of the time talking to a couple seated in the corner of the dining room we were in.
We have been good guests of the New York Grill for good reason. The food is great, the service is very good. The greeting always seems to be just OK. That said - had another great time.
Usually you can get your meal and be out in less than 90 minutes. It took that just to get our entrees. While this was a business lunch, it took us almost 3 hours for the entire lunch.
For that part of town, we were disappointed in the quality of the food. The NY strip was tough for the price. The side dishes were small. Plus we were very surprised that our bill included an entertainment charge of $10! This should be provided free for their customers' enjoyment. The piano player was located in the bar area and we only stayed in that room for 5 minutes while they were preparing our table. We tipped her before we knew we were going to be charged for that. The martinis are a bit small for $17. That being said, the servers were very friendly and efficient.
It is a very nice restaurant. Servers were great and friendly. Very attentive to our drink needs and always asking if we were ok. The food tastes great, steaks were juicy and tasty. A little pricey but worth it.
