New Mill Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
This place has never disappointed us . Entrees and appetizers are consistently excellent. As far as I’m concerned consistency is is what makes a great restaurant. Anybody can make a great meal once in a while but to do it every time is what you want to look for. Staff has always been accommodating to any requests .I recommend reservations
Great place for a meal. Staff is very considerate and on top of all your needs. The atmosphere takes you away from the hustle and bustle and let’s you relax with great drinks and appetizers. All food is serv d piping hot and seasoned perfectly. Not only my first choice but my family’s.
We moved to North Carolina 8 years ago. Every time we return, we get together with our very best friends and go to The New Mill. It is the best. We've known David a long time as he worked for our son at Arby's when he first started out. He has always been a tireless worker and it shows.
Over priced entrees. Grouper is a an inexpensive fish. I should not have been charged $29.00 for a cheap small piece of fish. Waitress should also state the prices of the dinner specials. Located near a Murky green swamp that needs a clean up. I'll stick to my favorite W. Hartford restaurants.
We brought our niece from Michigan and her father from DC to the restaurant for dinner, and (as usual) the food was fabulous. Our table was ready when we arrived, and was exactly where we asked to be seated. The food? Perfect from appetizer to dessert, and the wine was also a good value.
The New Mill has become our favorite restaurant in town. Love it!
Gourmet restaurant in a local town. Nice for dates. Was a little too noisy for our group as there were several other large groups there that night. Service was a little slow due to the many other large parties booked that night. Very unusual-this is the 4th time I've eaten there and the service has always been very good.
HOLD THE SALT, PLEASE!!!
A little disappointed in the food this visit. We were dining with friends and all 4 dinners were very salty. The strip steak was a beautiful piece of meat and cooked perfectly but when the chef seared it there was too much salt and it tasted like it was crusted in salt. 2 of us had Chicken Marsala and didn't have much of any real sauce on the chicken with a few shriveled up mushrooms on top and the veggies were very salty. Other than that, the calamari was cooked perfectly and a hearty portion.
