Afternoon Tea

Not your average tea salon, Neverland is an amalgamation of everything we love: celebration, decadence, ritual, whimsy and creativity. We also love variety, so we offer you options on which Neverland experience is right for you. Slip in for a quick indulgence at our Tea Bar Bakery, or enjoy our formal high tea service in our Neverland Room.

For those with dietary intolerances, our chef, Gordon Kuang, has also customized a complex blend of flours to create gluten-free options that are literally indistinguishable in taste and texture from our regular items. The idea is to have those with dietary restrictions not just feel included, but honoured for their differences. No dairy or gluten, and Vegan? We promise to wow you with indistinguishable variations of our high tea pastries, talk-of-the-town scones and full lunch menu.

My friend and I went for high tea as a pre wedding celebration. The waitress was extremely accommodating, taking time to deal with a couple of food allergies and making suggestions. There was a lot of food for two people, with the sweets and scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream being delicious. The tea selections are amazing, with the option to try as many as one wishes. We left with a very good impression of the establishment.

Very noisy. We had a lovely server, but we all found the food to be very average. Wound not go again.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday. We took our 8 mo old baby girl with us. The hostess was amazing and let us sit by the window so we didn’t have to bother others. She was really helpful with tea selections. Wonderful service. Great food. We will be back one day !

We celebrated by twenty something's birthday with our little group. It was worth the trip from North Vancouver to this magical place. My one suggestion was that it could have used a little music in the background to add to the otherwise welcoming and cosy ambience. The decor is whimsical and beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. Worth a visit! I am looking forward to when we go again on a rainy day to lift our spirits.

Have been here several times, made my co-workers take the bus with me for 30 minutes to get here for my farewell lunch, they all admitted it was worth it in the end. Food and tea is fantastic, my favourite savouries of all the afternoon tea places I've tried. The endless tea that you get with the Grand Adventure high tea is awesome if you want to explore lots of different teas from traditional to fun and silly. A little on the pricier end for afternoon tea that's not at a fancy hotel or garden, but you do get endless tea and vegan options, so. Seems mostly justified.

Took my little sister here during her visit to Vancouver because she wanted to do something “instagram-worthy” — got some cute pics (lol) and got to enjoy many pots of tea (the selection is amazing!) and had so much food, we simply couldn’t finish everything (even though we wanted to, it was delicious).

I took my mom here for her 50th birthday and she loved it! It was a nice modern twist to the traditional high tea. And I truly appreciated the vegan option and how accommodating our server was. They even had vegan china! We will definitely go back!

Been to Neverland many times, and each time I love it more. We actually got in trouble on this trip for failing to invite a friend - even though she was at work, and couldn't come. It's just such a coveted experience for our circle that we completely forget unimportant things, like jobs.

We have gone several times for afternoon tea. It is delicious and the tea choices are excellent. This most recent service, though pleasant and helpful, was not up to regular standards it just took longer to get things or get new tea for example. Possibly bc of our table which was the little low one tucked out of sight at the front. Just a heads up to Neverland, if sitting guests there to maybe check in on them a bit more regularly.

We will be back though :)

We had a great time at our afternoon tea! The food was excellent (a proper tea tray with mini sandwiches, scones with real cream and jam, plus a great selection of treats!). We made a special request to accommodate allergies, which was taken care of without any fuss. Great little place with a fabulous menu!

This is a gem for high tea (or even their demi tea). Was there with a friend. The food is delicious. The tea selection is amazing (white cherry is my new favorite.) Service was a bit spotty. Pleasant enough, and left us alone to chat together, but when we needed attention it was often hard to get attention. Still, it’s a wonderful place for tea.

We loved the fig, pear and brie sandwiches - so glad they are back on the menu. The pastries were delicious too. The service was variable - everyone was nice, but we had to ask twice for milk, and we had a very long wait for our pastries. The noise level was high, making conversation somewhat difficult.

The big problem was Open Table who would only have reservations at 4:30 pm. When we arrived they had had no one basically all day. Not happy especially coming a long distance and trying to avoid rush hour.

A really delightful experience. A casual, welcoming high tea with friendly staff. My waitress reminded me with each check in that I could try as many teas as I wished. They also made it iced as it was a hot day. On top of which, she automatically made me an iced tea to go to help keep me cool on the day. The staff behind the counter made everyone's tea with a smile. The tea variety was lovely and my waitress made excellent recommendations. The food was quite filling, and again, the waitress automatically packed what I couldn't finish, so I could take it home. The menu of savouries and sweets were paired beautifully and delicious. On top of which, I paid half of what I would at The Empress; it was good value for a great experience.

We 3 ladies had such a great time at Neverland, we made the reservation because it was in the Entertainment coupon book. It was a very hot day, so the unlimited iced teas were wonderful! The tea selection is huge! We tried several, and they were all sooo delicious! So was the food! I hope it will be in the next Entertainment book, we'd like to take more friends with us next time 😊

Went for my girlfriend's birthday . Enjoyed the ambience. Service was great! Food was good but not exceptional ....bread needs to be really fresh. Sweets were delicious as were the flavourful teas. However, I find metal tea pots a real turn off...... But due to the above still loved the experience.

It was my friend's birthday and everything was great but our server could be better. She was very confusing and did not provide us with all the menu options that we had. There was 4 of us and only 2 of us really wanted to do hightea but she made it seem that it was mandatory for all of us to do high tea so she got pretty pushy telling us that there was additional cost for sharing etc...and we were totally fine with paying extra, we just did not want to waste food. Overall it was an okay experience
