Neverland Tea Salon
Not your average tea salon, Neverland is an amalgamation of everything we love: celebration, decadence, ritual, whimsy and creativity. We love variety, so we offer you options on which Neverland experience is right for you. For those with dietary intolerances, our chef, Gordon Kuang, has also customized a complex blend of flours to create gluten-free options that are literally indistinguishable in taste and texture from our regular items. The idea is to have those with dietary restrictions not just feel included, but honoured for their differences. No dairy or gluten, and Vegan? We promise to wow you with indistinguishable variations of our high tea pastries, talk-of-the-town scones and full lunch menu.

This place is amazing. The staff is always super friendly and their food is to die for. So many different kinds of delicious teas and treats. A little expensive, but absolutely worth it to treat yourself every once in a while.
My daughters and I go to The Neverland Tea Salon every December for our annual holiday tea. The ambiance and service is always wonderful and the tea is very delicious. It is something we look forward to every year!
The service was alright but they kept rushing us to leave because their other reservations were coming in which is fair but it just felt very rushed and less enjoyable. The food was pretty good though.
Took my girls here for their very first high tea experience and the staff did an exceptional job making us feel welcomed and the girls had such a magical time! Would definitely return!
Brought mom here for afternoon tea and she lived it! (She’s hard to impress) this place is a gem in this neighborhood.
This is the second time my friend and I have been here and, if anything, this time was even better.
The menu changes with the season, so this was their winter menu. There are only two differences between the regular and vegetarian options and even then everything looks nearly the same.
This time, I had a London fog, then a lavender Earl Grey, both of which idea highly recommend.
I have been to Neverland Tea Salon few times. Was never disappointed.
It truly is a magical little tea salon. Their Holiday High Tea was spectacular a definite must!
The place is not presentable for high tea salon. The sofas are dirty and old. The Mac and Cheese I ordered for my daughter was cold and hard to chew she ended up eating only a small portion of it. The server Sarah was great and attentive but the place and foods are poor quality.
We went for my mum’s 79th birthday celebration, we really enjoyed it but it is quite expensive for what you get, we paid $48/person. We really enjoyed it and would go back. We have never gone for high tea so perhaps that’s what the price is. Again, we really enjoyed it and are happy we went❤️
Our reservation was for high tea lunch for 6 on Saturday 12 noon in early December. It was much busier than I expected there, as we had to wait for our table until 12:15-12:20 to get seated. And at the end of our lunch we were told our 2 hours time slot was up and the next reservation will be waiting so we had to leave by 2pm. We definitely felt being rushed the last 5-10 there, and it wasn't even 2 pm yet; but I didn't see those ladies before us were being rush out while we were standing there waiting for our table.
We had sufficient time to enjoy our high tea lunch, and service was good and all; but it would be much nicer if we didn't have to experience that at the end.
I think they can find a way to improve their reservation scheduling; instead of booking noon, 2pm & 4pm, try booking 12, 2:15 & 4:30. And also not to seat a big group at 11 am while there is already a reservation for that table at 12 noon.
The decor and food was great but the service was disappointing. I had called ahead the day before to let them know we where coming for a birthday and they told me they would do a special birthday plate. This was never done even though when I was paying for the meal I mentioned it and they found it was noted in the reservation. When we first got there we were told we could pick a seat in the restaurant and then after we were seated they asked us to move to another table. When our food was brought out it wasn’t the gluten/dairy free option we requested and had to go back. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant but there were a lot of hiccups that could have been avoided to make it a better experience.
Great spot for having tea! Cute and cozy with lovely China tea cups. Huge selection of tea which is never-ending so you really can sample a few types and find your favourites which you can buy and take home too. Delicious sandwiches, great scones and nice dessert selection. Some desserts are hit and miss and too sweet for me but overall the food is pretty solid.
We went in last week and the menus were super confusing, there were too many of them. The raspberry tart had moldy raspberries on it and the eggnog cake was tasteless. Really understaffed, we waited and hollered for 20 minutes just for a glass of water. This is suppose to be a more posh tea place to go to, I wonder what happened. It used to be great before.
Such an incredibly unique and whimsical place to savour a perfect cup of tea with friends. Excellent food. Truly a place to create special memories.
A great get away on a rainy day...or any other day!
Love love love Neverland, have been enjoying their lovely ambiance, delightful high tea and other great menu options for years. Just celebrated my daughter getting into Law School there with a bottle of prosecco and delicious sandwiches. She is celiac which is one of the reasons we sought it out when we moved to the neighbourhood, because of the exceptional gluten free options, including gluten free high tea. Wonderful place, highly recommended!
Great customer service and well organized. The space it’s amazing. And the food is very good.
It was a fabulous experience as always. The waitress was outstanding.
We had a wonderful afternoon tea at Neverland! The sweets were delicious, notably the apple pie mousse dome on a sable breton base and london fog mille-feiulle. Savouries were not bad, the one that stood out was the brioche bacon sandwich with house made pickled relish (spicy), monterey jack cheese and chipotle aioli. I recommend selecting the Grand Adventure High tea, as it allows you to try as many different teas as you like! Me and my partner tried 4 teas each, which the waitress brewed fresh each time for us. We were surprised London fog latte was an option to get, and it did not disappoint. Freshly steamed milk with lovely foam, poured into a fragrant, tasty earl grey tea that was well-bodied and flavourful - I think it was one of the best london fogs I've ever had!
Service was exceptional, we had a German girl who was lovely. Atmosphere was cute - loved all the Peter Pan touches everywhere. Our only complaint was the loud clanging of washing dishes that we heard at times (maybe put doors to the washing station?).
We visited at 3pm on a Monday, so I recommend coming on the weekdays for a quieter atmosphere and guaranteed prompt service.
With the tasty pastries and the never-ending tea selection, you really feel the value of this afternoon tea service. Neverland is definitely a front-runner in Vancouver's numerous high tea offerings.
Love coming to Neverland. The atmosphere and waitresses are nice and friendly. It was my 4th time there and will definitely go back.
Food was not bad but we didn’t get our table till 25 mins after our reserved time and later the waitress rushed us to leave as there’s another party waiting. We barely had 1.5 hrs when the seating was supposed to be 2 hrs long. Service slow, noisy, food was just ok. Very pricy for the experience you get. The only positive thing was you get to try two pots of different tea leaves.
Loved it! Very accommodating for food allergies, my new favourite high tea spot!
Lunch soup and sandwich was very tasty. Lemon tart disappointing - crust was too hard. Place was very noisy
I love afternoontea in this shop. Lovely cups , lighting, sweets. I want to go again.
Soup was delicious....but not hot...sandwich was good and healthy...nice bread...staff were VERY ATTENTIVE....too many tables in room...spoils atmosphere...but much too expensive for a simple lunch....$100. for four...more expensive than the same in London!
I booked an appointment on Saturday at 4:30 for 2 people. We had a great time in Neverland Tea Salon. The service there was great. The combination of the afternoon tea set was delicious. The dessert was outstanding. I found out that a lots of dessert of afternoon tea are way too sweet. But the desserts here don’t have that problem.
The never-ending tea pot they served here surprised me. You can choose different tea to try.
The only thing that I don’t like is a little bit too crowded and it was noisy... but it was Saturday evening, everyone was enjoying their holiday time. Which I won’t complain much about it :)
Overall, it’s one of the best afternoon tea places you can find in Vancouver~!
Love that the restaurant has a theme. There was a lot of choice for the tea and the food was very tasty.
We have loved this restaurant for quite a few years. There have been some changes when we came this time and we were disappointed. The service and food are as lovely as ever but the ambiance has really decreased due to lager tables placed in a row which makes it harder to have an intimate conversation as you are sitting further away from your lunch partners but closer to strangers. The screens and smaller tables and cozy chairs are replaced so it looks more uniform and fits larger parties. We have always come with just a few people and therefore I would not recommend it anymore to a group below four people. It seems much colder than before. The big change was the major hike in price for the demi tea. it is alsmost the same price as the regular high tea and used to be haf. I am unlikely to take young girls or come for the afternoon as once you pay for a party of four it adds fifty dollars to your total bill and the food menu is exactly as before.
This is always a fun place to go. The high tea selections are changed periodically, so there's something new to enjoy. Great place to go on a rainy day!
Looking forward to returning.
Great attention to detail. Every sweet and savory at tea was beautiful and delicious. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Can't wait to return!
We were very disappointed with the service. The server kept reminding us of how much time we had left on the table. There were many empty tables. When I asked for my 2nd tea she told me I had 15 min left and maybe have it as a to go. Will never come back and don’t recommend it to anyone either.
I’ve been taking my daughter from the last 6 years for high tea on her birthday. This year as always she was very excited and enjoyed the tea and food. I always order something from the Menu, but this time I was very disappointed with the minimum charge per person and the food was not good. It didn’t look or taste good. It felt that was done without care what was never the case before.
I also think it is time to invest on replacing the seating covers.. it is so dirty and just hiding with blankets is not good.
I love the place and plan to keep going back, just sending my honest feedback
Pricey but quaint and delicious! Loved that they have vegan options
Such a great experience, friendly and great staff and amazing tea selections. Will definitely come back! Beautiful place.
I took my sister to Neverland Tea for her birthday. We both had the grand adventure tea and enjoyed it. It was a holiday weekend so we were restricted to 1.5 hours. We had lots of time to talk, eat and drink tea. The waiter was attentive and we loved our food.
Had a great afternon with my special ladies my Mom and my girls for belated and upcoming birthdays and Mother's day redo since my daughter was to sick to join us on Mother's day. We got 3 Traditional and 1 vegan High Tea. The tea was so good I loved the selection and variety and the food was really good and so filling. I also like that they give you 4 price points since High Tea can be pretty pricey in Vancouver . The ambiance was lovled and the ladies are very sweet
Always great service, always great food, always drink far too much tea (if there is such a thing). Came over from the island for it, favourite place!
Kids had a blast.
Love this place but went on a Sunday and didn’t know about the time limit. Would of been fine had they mentioned it at seating but they kinda dropped it on us right when we had to leave and pretty much kicked us out rather abruptly. Had to pack up half of my 40$ meal. They should remind/mention this when they seat you so you have a chance to try and finish your meal on time. Otherwise I love the food and service!!
