Good food, reasonable price for lunch and I was very satisfied. J am planning to go back for dinner for sure.
Good experience overall
What a surprise! I ventured into NETA because I frequently walk past and it looks inviting so I thought we’d try it. I had no idea that we were in for such a culinary treat! Oh my, the food was amazing. We had the tasting menu. You should too. I will be back many times to this amazing restaurant.
Great！The service was perfect and the food was perfect.
Delicious fresh sushi, innovative seasonal omakase and a proper counter experience. Highly recommend!
Japanese fine dining at its best.
Had an outstanding sushi lunch here. Fresh, fresh, fresh & so well made. Definitely would return here when back in NY
Server kept forgetting to bring ordered drinks. Relatively snooty as well. Did not help with menu or drink pairings when asked.
Omakase is fantastic, and good value for price especially the small option which gives you well enough for diner. Would have been perfect if service had not been so poor.
Terrible aesthetics and grossly overpriced for the quality of fish.
Great food！ Wonderful experience
everything about our experience was amazing. the omakase was 100% worth the price tag. we sat at the sushi bar and loved every minute of our meal. will be back!
Neta always delivers. The food, service, and cocktails are always outstanding.
Amazing omakase experience. All dishes were executed very well, from cooked dishes to the sushi. Service was top notch.
Neta is always great. The fish is so fresh. The atmosphere is fun with music playing and a nice energy amongst the staff.
Spectacular food as always.
This is a place for sushi nerds. Don’t have high expectations of the cocktail menu. I ordered an old fashioned and it looked more like miso soup. The sushi was great though.
The server on Saturday 4/7 for lunch was rude and not friendly. The restaurant was empty and he wouldn’t allow us to pick a table. The drinks came with stains on the glass. Finally, The food was subpar. This is my 3rd visit and I will not visit again. The other Japanese restaurant nearby called DOMODOMO was so much better! Overall 2.5 stars, but I would round it down if I were on Yelp.
Service was very good. Went for boyfriends birthday and they gave us some extra treats! Definitely will be back!
Neta is not what it used to be. The fish was not fresh. We sat at the bar, the sushi chefs were prepping delivery orders. Not worth the price.
A great dining experience - they took great care of us and we had a terrific time - amazing food
Absolutely outstanding dining experience- great food, service and ambiance. Sushi at its best. Well worth the money.
By far one of my favorite restaurants in the city.
Very authentic Japanese sushi experience. Reminds me of the feel of a neighborhood quality dining experience in Japan. Good sake choices.
Had a great experience. The lobster small plate was amazing, and the bartender Josh was amazing!
Excellent Omakase. Sit at the sushi bar so you watch the magic happening.
Had the $150 omakase. Food was overall good quality but several pieces were too salty.
Loved it. Must see in nyc
Great food. Great service. Worth the price.
The dessert served us different food at menu of our lunch set. And the waiter even say that’s nothing wrong didn’t want to change the right food. Also, the spoon has strong dishwashing smell.
Unk tasted like ammonia
Lovely time having omakase
When I told the server that the eel don seemed different from the one I tried last week, he seemed to be impatient. The manager was nice though. I showed him the photo of the one I had last week, and talked to him about it. He offered not to charge me because I barely ate it.
Amazing small restaurant. Everything is good but the Spicy Lobster is a must.
Omakase was great. It had a ton more food with just as great quality for the price we paid than other sushi restaurants. Highly recommend! Meghan organized my special occasion beautifully.
Service was unusually off the night we dined. Otherwise a great night
Fun to sit at counter to watch them delicately create their masterpieces!
Hey had a good time at Neta. We all did the Omaske and agreed that it was a good deal. We generally all enjoyed our dishes - everything was delicious and overall a good experience since we wouldn’t have ordered many of those dishes ourselves. The one thing that was lacking was the service. We had so many different waiters dropping dishes off for us that they must have forgotten where we were in our service (we didn’t even remember where we were in our service...). One of the waiters asked if we were ready for our check which to us signaled the end of our meal. How ever when we were about to leave another waiter told us we still had dessert coming... obviously there was a disconnect somewhere. Overall we enjoyed our food and were stuffed by the end even without the last dish - service could have been better.
Excellent! Will be back for the full omakase dinner course!
Good for dining with friends.
For dates this place may be a bit too loud?
