Food was delicious! Went to Betty’s back room. The Dover sole is out of this world!!
The view is incredible but everything else was not so good I ordered a drink and the guy brought it over and it was totally wrong second off it was my birthday and they knew it because I said it when we booked the table and nothing was done about it then when I food came out the Brussels sprouts that my boyfriend and I were looking foreword to all day were awful they say caramelized Apple crusted and here was not seasoning on them at all then the bill came and it was wrong we had stuff added to the bill that we never ordered and still some how walked out with paying 300+ for a meal and an overall experience that was awful this place needs to stop relaying on there view and focus on there bar and kitchen and service in general
Pricey but the service was excellent as was the food. Couldn’t do this every time I visited Atlantic City, but for a special treat, Nero’s is the place to go.
Very good food service was good and friendly nice waterfront views will recommend it
The restaurant was lovely. A very comfortable atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I will surely be going back.
The service and food, as always was impeccable! The lobster tail with lump crab is to die for, as is the white chocolate souffle!
The food and service were both very good. The ocean view is fabulous. The only disappointment that evening was a fire alarm that ran for what seemed like an hour, but was probably more like ten to fifteen minutes. It was a false alarm, but the noise was deafening and just ruined my dinner. I left before desert and coffee. This is an expensive place, and it would have been nice for management to have offered something to the guests who were so inconvenienced by the situation ... maybe a cocktail or desert. But they didn't, which is what pulled my overall rating down to only "Fair."
The food was delicious and the atmosphere is great
We've been to Nero's many times & it never disappoints. This time we went for our anniversary & were seated at a window table overlooking the beach/ocean (make sure to ALWAYS request a window!!!). The food is fantastic (I had veal & my wife had the seafood pasta). Besides the food, we love the service - you never feel rushed at Nero's & the waiters really take the time to explain the food & wine choices. We will be back again (& again). Thanks!!!
Food was excellent and plentiful. The view was outstanding and the entire staff was not only attentive but very friendly. We would definitely return.
Onion soup was very good. We shared a porterhouse and it was cooked perfectly. We also added a half lobster tail which was very good as well. The mascarpone mashed potatoes were delicious and super creamy!!
We received a coupon from when we checked in our room at Caesars for this restaurant. It was great! $39 for Chef 3 course meal, each. When I made the reservation I asked to sit by the window because it was our first fist. We walked right in and were immediately sat in front of the window with a view. The bread before the meal was yummy.I had the deviled clams, so good! My husband got the prime rib and I of course had some, it was the best! I had the lamb, it was good but I didn't read that it was a pasta dish or I probably wouldn't have ordered it and tried the salmon instead. For the sides we had to order separately because it was not apart of the 3 courses so we got the 3 choice option, asparagus and mashed potatoes were good but the mushrooms were dry for my taste and that was the whole reason we ordered the sides was so I could try them. I am from the south and I like my mushrooms moist or in a gravy/sauce. There was plenty of food left over so we could have gone without the extra sides. I had a lemon cheesecake and he had a brownie type of dessert, both were excellent.
Had a window table, the view was nice, service was excellent and the food was delicious
We've been coming to this brunch for several decades. The location at Nero's Steakhouse is the best with the view of the ocean and boardwalk. As always, we enjoyed ourselves. Missed seeing Betty.
Excellent Time great waiter Frederino
The food was prepared as ordered and delicious. The porterhouse steak was a tender cut of meat from beginning to end . Nick our waiter and the rest of the staff where always nearby and observant and not to forget the quantity of the veggies can be shared
Excellent. Fernando provided wonderful service!
Found Sunday Brunch to be fantastic as usual. Don't miss out on the omelet station conducted by Mr. Breakfast, a real treat. Food and service great once again. We will return.
There’s no such thing as a bad meal at Nero’s. The Sunday brunch is exceptional. Be sure to ask the chef about the specials at the omelette station. This week he had fruit-smoothie French toast, crab hash, and scrapple—-among other creative options. There’s sushi, shrimp, crab legs, caviar, fresh oysters. The carving station has lamb chops, prime rib, crab imperial crusted salmon, and ham. A variety of Asian, Italian and American hot and cold dishes. A crepe and waffle station, 30+ desserts, Bloody Mary bar, champagne cocktails——all included!
We decided to sit at the bar for dinner. We had great service and the view was beautiful of the Atlantic Ocean. The servers were nice and attentive. Our food was delicious though my filet was a little overdone. My wife had the lobster tail which was steamed to perfection. We decided to split the baked potato which was really huge and it was hot! We also had the mushrooms to accompany our meal. All in all it was great dining experience.
I live in NYC and I expect to pay a lot of money for good steak. As this restaurant was advertised everywhere and said to be best steak house, my husband and I went to have dinners there. Appetizers were way to fried, salad had too much salad dressing and my steak was not the best cut of meat. Wine by the glass did not have a good selection, I had to order $37 glass of wine, my husband had martini and olives in it tasted terrible. My cappuccino was flat.
The restaurant looks nice and if you have nice seat by the window or at the bar at sunset you will enjoy the view of the ocean. Our bill was close to $300, but it was not worth it.
I would go back there for a drink at sunset.
As always everything was phenomenal. We eat here every trip to Atlantic City. Never had a mean that wasn't excellent.
It was great!
The service is excellent
The atmosphere was beautiful
The attention to detail by the staff is well above other restaurants.
Highly recommend for quality food and fair prices.
I question if the steak was prime. Very tough. Side dishes were served cold. Steak fries could not be eaten with all the salt that was put on them. Caesar salad was actually warm and over dressed.
FOOD WAS GOOD, AMBIANCE GOOD....BUT VERY EXPENSIVE
excellent food and customer service, elegant and worth the $
Our waiter was very friendly and the food was great.
The service was outstanding. The food was delicious.
Def not an upscale steakhouse. Marginal at best. Probably would not return.
Every thing was good until we had dessert. My sister in law found a bug on her plate. She has her food handlers license and was not happy The y comp us 2 people but the we’re not very professional about it. The manager asked is were we think the Bug came from we responded How should we now
Went for the Sunday brunch, it was outstanding. Great food and excellent service. Many choices of meats, fish, deserts, and bottomless champagne and bloody Mary's. Our fist visit since we usually go home Sundays. We will always go here when we have a Sunday stay.
Great food and ambiance We come often
Our waiter was attentive. It was very busy.
good food, good service, everyone so friendly, I diffidently will visit again
Food is excellent and service was phenomenal. We both enjoyed Nero’s steakhouse.
Had true Italian dinner, well paced and great service. Food prepared as ordered and with no mistakes.
Amazing selection for Sunday brunch. The engagement levels of the staff are off the charts which makes it all the more better. And who doesn’t like bottomless bubbly.
We unfortunately had a very costly, awful experience at Nero's. We made a reservation for 7 people, and when we arrived, they seated us at a table for four, with two end seats and one seat squashed between two seats on one side of the table. It was very, very tight. It was my dads birthday dinner, and he WANTED to come here, and he couldn't even order what he wanted because the "special" that was read to us, was sold out. Apparently they only had two, and ironically enough, the two were ordered by two people in my party. What irritated me most about this, was how it was handled and delivered. Mind you it was a Friday Night, at 8:30. Not like we were there on a random Tuesday. When I approached Betty, who I recognized from the article written on "Bettys Back Room" the restaurant associated with Nero's, she seemed hesitant to help me with my request. As if I was asking for it for FREE. She told me to have him switch with someone else who ordered it at the table. Which sounds reasonable, but I know my father. He will do without before he takes from someone. My dad would NEVER ask someone to trade orders with him, even if they offered. Then things got really interesting when I noticed Betty, and another manager speaking about my table. I actually read their lips and they were talking smack on us. This restaurant was FAR from busy. You would think they would be more accommodating since most of the staff was just standing around with nothing to do. My father picked something else, and ordered the steak medium, and it came out well. Again, he didn't say anything, but he also didn't eat it. My lamb chops were also done well, I ordered medium too. I just wanted to leave, and have some drinks with my family. When your sitting down at a high end restaurant, there is just an expectation level. Sure, charge me $65 for a steak, but you best be sure that steak is worth every dollar of that $65! Our bill was close to $1,000 and it wasn't worth $500.
Always liked Nero's, particularly the Sunday Brunch. Food variety is everything and a set price per person with Bloody Marys and Mimosas
Betty is always been simply Wonderful and set us in a perfect setting for our group of 11.
