Went there for Thanksgiving and had turkey dinner and was so surprised on quality and quantity they gave us. This place is always top notch. My goto place..
Thanksgiving dinner at Neros was incredible. The Porterhouse steak is the best I have had in Atlantic City. The “Linguini” is served with a variety of seafood that melts in your mouth. The service was excellent too.
Rafino very good service
Service was great! Food was cooked perfectly. Price was as expected for a casino/resort. Would dine again!
Steaks were delicious but soups , side and fish dish were mediocre. Worth going for the steaks .
The food was over priced and nothing special. Steak was not tasty at all, basically a steak you can get anywhere for cheaper. Service was good, that’s about it.
Had Lobster Franchaise for dinner. Best I have had in any area restaurants
Shrimp Cocktail appetizer was enormous with 3 pieces of shrimp.
Visit many steakhouses in Atlantic City and this one is definitely below par. Advertise the porterhouse as the best steak. Was so chewy for the price they charge. If you want a good steak go to Gallagher’s or Gordon Ramsey Steak.
Excellent as usual except the chicken parm. It was a replacement for roast chicken and was disappointing. Over done and very salty.
Great atmosphere. We had 5 pm reservation so we sat down at a table with view of sun going down ,, beautiful. Bread was absolutely delicious. We ordered the filet and it was very good with mashed potatoes. Service was excellent! It was a bit expensive.
We had a reservation for Sunday November 1 at 6pm. It was confirmed by open table on Saturday and also by a live person at Caesars entertainment reservations. We were looking forward to that special moment together. Drove to AC from Connecticut only to find they were closed and had been closed for some time. Thanks so much for the great disappointment
We booked and even received an open table confirmation only to arrive at the restaurant and find a notice that it was closed 🤨😳😡. Not happy at all!!
We showed for the reservation just to be told it’s been closed for the past 3 weeks. I got confirmed by open table the day before we went. Just an awful experience.
Excellent service excellent food recommend the linguine Fra diavalo
Excellent venue, great food, wonderful views, great wait staff. Overall very enjoyable restaurant
We had a very good dinner ! The steaks 24oz porterhouse were perfect and the crabcake was spectacular (highly reccomend)
Very disappointed in the food. We had 2 seafood dishes in which were good. But the filet mignon, and the lamb chops were very over cooked. I ordered the lamb chops medium rare, and they were fully cooked. Almost like they were put in the microwave . Same with the filet, dry and well done. Ordered a side of mushrooms the were ice cold, and were replaced after we were done our meal. Very dissatisfied.
It's been about 2 years since dining at Nero's. We have enjoyed anniversary and birthday dinners several times in the past.. Really enjoyed the Sunday Brunch until it seemed to become over-priced. Our dinner on Sunday, Oct 11th,2020 was for our anniversary. Well, since our last time 2 years ago, Nero's has really gone down hill. I should start by expaining the service was excellent. The food however really needs improvment. Sadly to say I will not be coming back ever again to see if it improved. First off, the Wedge Salad was 2 slices of tomato's with about 12 leaves of lettuce on top. A couple crumbs of bacon and some dressing.($16) The baked potatoe was hardly worth $8. The filet ($54) and the porterhouse ($69) were passable, not as good as a Steak House should provide. (Like Homestead, Vic&Anthony's or Mortons) It really is sad to see one of your old favorites just completely disentergrate.
My wife and I have dined at Nero's several times over the years. In the past we have enjoyed our dinning experiences there. This time however was not very good. The French onion soup was as good as ever. Than we waited it seems like forever for our main course. The waiter came by twice and said our dinner would be out soon. Well soon turned into at least 45 minutes between courses, way too long for us. My wife ordered the Chilean Sea Bass $49 and I ordered Prime Rib medium rare $68. The sea bass was good but not hot and the prime rib was well done, I mean well, well done. The waiter must have known it was not what I ordered. When I told him I was not going to pay for it there was no argument. He immediately said he would remove it from the bill. Indoor dinning just recently reopened in Atlantic City. We are hoping this is not the new normal for Nero's. At least for this trip, Nero's was not the best steakhouse in New Jersey like the big billboard on Rt 30 advertises.
All good food and views the best
Had to keep asking for stuff! Did not have salt pepper needed other stuff
Was NOT Horrible But there are Others better
Host / Manager Acted Like A SNOB
Got Dirty SilverWare
$ 68 For Prime rib , that I've had better at the buffet or at home
Lobster Bisque tasted like it was from a can and added water
Boston Market creamed spinach was better
Oysters were better from shop rite
It was the first time I was at Nero's and I would definitely go back. We had the antipasto which was great. We are half and ate the rest for lunch the next day in our hotel room. My husband and I shared the porterhouse steak and mashed potatoes and a cheesecake and we had so much food and it was all delicious and I would order all of it again. I highly recommend it.
Great food. Porterhouse was awesome.
Service and view of the ocean was second to none.
Great service from Fernando , food was delicious, we ordered the Salmon and Chilean see bass
Refino very good
Amazing food and staff. My husband and I can’t wait to go back! A great way to celebrate our anniversary.
Sat with Santos at the comfy bar Thursday and Friday nights. All was awesome including the bone in filet mignon, seafood tower and Bullet Old Fashioned. They did not have a wine by the glass on the menu I liked but Santos introduced me to Nobilo. Decided to buy the bottle.
GOOD CHOICES ON MENU. View of the Ocean perfect. Service outstanding. Hostess Betty is the best
Had a great experience and syaff were amazing cant wait ro go back ahain
Incredible food with incredible prices...but worth it
Everything was great except we had reservations for Neto’s and once again we ate in the back at the over flow area. This has happened each time to us and I really wanted to be in the Neros eating section 🙁
Food and Service was wonderful. Santos our Bartender and Mauricio our server were very attentive.
Lavender martini was delicious.
Only setback is pricing. Dinner, 4 cocktails, a beer, apps and a shared dessert set us back $330 with gratuity.
Lovely! As requested, was seated at table with view!
"I like the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes.
onion soup 100% chocolate volcano 100% French kiss best in long time
Great food. Good service. A little pricey but not outrageous.
Service and meal were exceptional!
It was my first time at Nero's, the food was great, the service was great, the view is very nice and if there is 1 thing i didnt like would be that because I was alone they sat me at a small table right near the end of the bar and the hostess stand. The hostess was very chatty with customers which is nice but it was loud at times. I am still giving 5 stars.....
Delicious meal last weekend. We had the french onion soup and Caesar salad as starters. Both were very tasty. We shared a Porterhouse medium rare and added seared scallops, which weren’t on the menu as an adder, but they allowed and the mashed potatoes. The steak was excellent and the scallops were delicious. The potatoes were good as well. Would definitely dine there again.
Thanks so much for the great review of Nero's Italian Steakhouse and for mentioning how much you enjoyed your experience! We are pleased you found everything to your liking and hope to welcome you back soon!
