The service and ambiance were good but we would not return. The steak had way too much butter and our cocktails were not very good. There are just too many better options in the valley.
Great food and great service
Great food and wonderful service. The hostess was friendly and prompt. We had a pleasant breakfast and the brunch buffet was excellent!
I was disappointed for a Starwood property which is usually top notch. Breakfast selections were fine, but service was slow and the food when delivered was not hot, seemed to have been sitting out. Coffee was filled appropriately.
I love everything about this restaurant, great food, good service, reasonable price.
Arrived 5 minutes before our scheduled 7:00 PM reservation yet we were not seated for 20 minutes. Reservations didn't matter, seemed like diners were seated in order of arrival time.
Once seated, it took too long for our drinks to arrive and too long to order our food. My second drink arrived 15 minutes after my first glass of wine was consumed and the second glass was not what I ordered! In total, we were at the restaurant more than 2 hours. Slow service and mediocre food.
The Sunday Brunch was awesome. Service from our waiter Clifford was great and the Food was great. Definitely will be back soon!
The food was just ok. The red fish had almost no taste. The ribs were flooded with bbq sauce so you couldn’t taste the meat, just the sauce. The cauliflower mash was outstanding. The waitress was also outstanding. Too many other great restaurants around to go back.
Loved this restaurant. More than just a hotel restaurant. Would definitely go back.
Kelly was a fantastic server! She really made our anniversary night extra special. The food was amazing and we look forward to coming back!
❤️ Very nice loving moment with my bff/wife 😍
We have enjoyed the brunch many times. There are always many creative and delicious dishes to choose from as well as standard fare. The service is attentive but not smothering. Love the view and the opportunity to have a quiet conversation with my mate.
Not worth the time and effort. Food is as decent as Chili’s...would rather spend my money some place else
great food, great service...Southwest cuisine done well
First time at Cashmans. My date and I were seated promptly, but the server’s attitude quickly derailed the brief enjoyment of that. She seemed annoyed and rushed although it wasn’t too busy.
The wines were local and underwhelming. The beet carpaccio was delicious, but it was downhill from there. My date ordered the chicken which was so undercooked bits were raw. I ordered the lamb mole, which was dry and under seasoned. I also ordered the ribs as an addition to my entree and they came out cold. There were 3 pork ribs and it was $14.
The server replaced the chicken with a burger and I had to send the check back as they tried to charge me for both. No apologies for feeding my date raw chicken, just a 15 min wait for a burger. By the time it got there I had finished and she was too disgusted from the raw chicken to even enjoy the burger. Spare yourself the cost and experience.
Side note, they have a scotch library. The tasting cost less and was much more enjoyable.
Great food and service.
Nice relaxing atmosphere. The food was good and the service solid, slightly pricey, drinks were a bit expensive. Our waiter was quite busy but tried his best to be attentive. You can have your parking slip validated for free parking though there are no signs to tell you that, or at least none very visible. We will go back.
We were seated toward the end of breakfast, but before brunch. When I made the reservation, that was not clear. It was a little awkward with the wait staff when we transitioned into brunch, which is what we were there for. Our server was great, but the dining room manager was a little rude to my husband when he was getting food from the buffet right before breakfast closed down.
Terrific food. A touch noisy but not unexpected
Excellent service. Kids burger charred on outside but raw on inside
The food was delicious. The service was good. The drinks are excessively overpriced.
Nice place & service was outstanding. Please note that they do validate parking as we were not aware of that
Great food and atmosphere, setting, ambiance... all that jazz...
fairly priced and great service. Our server, Taylor, was excellent. Very well put together and offered suggestions of her favorite dishes since this was our first time and everything turned out fantastic. I highly recommend this establishment and will certainly be back in the near future.
I had requested a quiet area for a business lunch and the restaurant accomadated my request. We had a table in an are that is usually a private room and no other tables were occupied. The service was very good and eveyone enjoyed thier meal.
always nice setting with good service, but food is not always consistant
We were staying at the Villas, which by the way were all remodeled and fantastic. We chose Nellies because we did not have to drive and it was recommended to us. We are huge food people and it was our Anniversary so we wanted to eat somewhere nice. Our server did an okay job. My husband has a sea salt allergy and she did what she could to ensure that issue was addressed with the chef. The food selections were okay at best. The au grautan potatoes were more like scalloped and they said it was a portion to share.....about 10 ounces???? The wine selection was moderate at best. All local and not that great. We believe they need to rethink their menu. Fried carrot strings.....like chewing on toothpicks.
Always good food! Kind of expensive when your kids are "not" kids (age specific).
Good variety breakfast buffet. Servers and hostesses were friendly and pleasant. Would have breakfast here again when staying at the Westin Kierland
We had purchased a living social coupon. Our server was great, very attentive and other than having to send back the mashed potatoes to be warmed up everything was delicious, and the steak cooked perfectly! Would go again. Was also nice to catch a lady entertaining us with a short trip bagpipe piece!!!
It will be a long time before we return to Nellie Cashmans - overall disappointment.
Love the AZ menu. Steak was delicious .
Waitress was outstanding
Stopped in for breakfast and walked through what looked like an awesome buffet. I was seated fast but it took about 10 minutes to get water. Then the waiter started to walk away. I had to stop him to ask about getting an iced tea. Another 5 to 7 minutes later he came back with my tea and started to leave again. I asked if I could order. He never offered the buffet as an option so I ordered the breakfast burrito.
The eggs in the burrito were overcooked and brown? The tea was good😁. I asked if there was wi-if available and was told no unless I was a guest of the hotel or I could pay $14.95 for the day.
Probably will not be returning.
We were joining friends to celebrate a 94th birthday. The buffet may be wonderful, but $40 (especially out of season) is outrageous - and that is without a drink. I don't know many people who can eat their money's worth at that price point. So we asked if we could just order eggs - the firm answer (at noon) was NO. So we ordered sandwiches and salads. A very mediocre burger with no sides was $15. $4 more to add fries. A turkey wrap, with no sides, also $14. Our server was not wonderful - we waited quite a bit for condiments. All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant.
By the way, we later had dinner at Deseo - in same hotel. It was quite expensive and worth every penny. Great meal, great service, wonderful experience.
As a vegan, I have pretty much given up on eating out. I live about an hour out of Seattle, so unless I go into Seattle, I can't find a decent vegan meal. I did not have high expectations for any of the restaurants at the Westin Kierland Resort after seeing little if any vegetarian options on the menu, let alone vegan. However, when I made reservations, I put in the comment that we were vegan--why not? Maybe it will help.
When we checked in with the hostess, she immediately acknowledged that we were vegans, and said they would be able to accommodate us. Yeah! The dip for the bread was eggplant instead of the usual butter, and we had two protein options for our entree (black beans, tofu, or both with a Southwestern stir fry). We chose black beans. The entree was delicious! And the chef replaced the white rice with quinoa, which gave us more protein.
The service was outstanding as well. We had a great dining experience. Thank you!
Excellent food and service, will definitely return!
The service was spectacular. The food was on par, but nothing special, and a little overpriced. Their signature cocktails are very unique and quite good (don't let the odd combinations scare you off).
This is our second time at Nelly Cashman so we had a great time again the food was fantastic and the service was exceptional. I really like it because the tables aren't so close together you can actually have a conversation with the people that you're with we will definitely be back again
The food was just okay. The salads were fine, and the baked chicken was good but needed more sauce. The scalloped potatoes had an enormous amount of pepper in them which made them inedible. The brussels spout side was overlooked- mostly burnt. Although the ambiance is amazing, we were disappointed in our meal. Staff was very friendly.
As always, fantastic food and great ambience - definitely worthy of repeat visits.
Great food and ambience, we will be going back soon!
