- EEricvipGreater Boston •13 reviews5.0Dined todayOur dinner ar Cocina al Fondo was perfect. The farm to table sourcing and preparation really came through in the delicious and creatively presented Puerto Rican dishes. For apps we had a. amazing salad of the sweetest local cherry tomatoes with local greens and malanga buñuelos with bacalao. Dinner for the wife was cerdo empanizado dressed with a salad and accompanied by tostones, and I had swordfish topped with an herb pesto ans yautía al pilon. The cocktails were amazing, as was our server. We ate outdoors in the covered patio, under the lights, very romantic with traditional latin music playing in the background. This is a local gem run by a team of chefs who know what they are doing and put great care and creativity into their ingredients, their menu and their customers' experience. Well worth the visit.More infoCocina Al FondoPrice: Moderate• Puerto Rican• Condado•4.8
- JJemmavipGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a wonderful experience. This is our favorite restaurant anywhere! The food is amazing. The chef knows who’s to put ingredients in to make each dish special. We loved the tuna skewers to start and the shrimp boa buns. Both amazing.More infoSantaellaPrice: Very Expensive• Puerto Rican• San Juan•4.8
- DDanielNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI recently dined at Marmalade Restaurant & Wine Bar in Old San Juan, and it was absolutely unforgettable! The ambiance is warm and elegant, perfect for both romantic dates and special dinners with friends. From the velvety white bean soup to the perfectly cooked sea bass accompanied by saffron risotto, every dish was a delight. The staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel welcomed and well cared for throughout our meal. And don’t skip dessert—the chocolate terrine with raspberry coulis was divine. If you’re in Puerto Rico, do yourself a favor and visit Marmalade. It's a culinary experience you won't want to miss!More infoMarmalade Restaurant & Wine BarPrice: Very Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• San Juan•4.9
- JJoseCaribbean •1 review4.0Dined 4 days agoI recently dined at Lala and found myself torn between the exceptional service and the average food. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and attended to every detail. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, recommending dishes and checking in frequently. However, while the service was top-notch, the food left something to be desired. The flavors were underwhelming, and a couple of dishes felt like they missed the mark. The presentation was decent, but it didn't compensate for the lack of depth in taste. In summary, if you're looking for a place with fantastic service and a warm atmosphere, Lala is worth a visit. Just don’t go in with high expectations for the food, and you’ll likely enjoy your experience!More infolalaPrice: Very Expensive• Global, International• Isla Verde / Carolina•4.8
