Fantastic lunch for my husband’s 40th. We had the set menu and it was really good. Great value for money and loads of food. We will definitely be back

Took my partner here for his birthday. Was skeptical as have heard mixed reviews but honestly couldn’t knock it. The setting itself is lovely. Service was quick and the food was great! Only slight let down was I added in the booking it was my partners birthday and it wasnt acknowledged like other places would but either way would go back! Reasonably priced and great selection! Expresso Martinis are 10/10, nice to get a decent sized one!

The pub a d the restaurant are lovely and clean. The food was amazing and portions big! We had the curry and a burger 👍 prices are very fair. Would definitely go back to The George

I ordered the veggie main with my roast dinner (pumpkin and Feta Wellington) and it was amazing. The whole meal was beautiful. We were there for Mother’s Day and all the lamb, chicken and beef mains looked great too. The staff were chatty and polite. I didn’t give the top score as I had to chase up my Prosecco as it was forgotten - on Mother’s Day!- but that was literally the only fault I could find with the whole experience. We come back for the Sunday roasts whenever we can, they are such good value for money.
