We had a lovely experience at the ivy Nottingham. The food, service and decoration was of the highest quality. Our table was at the back on the higher level, my only criticism is that the tables were very close together resulting in a not very private meal, I understand it’s all about numbers but with a restaurant of this level I would expect a little more room. Choose a table on the side so you can experience the view or the tables on the lower level.

Excellent meal at Colliery Smokehouse – proper BBQ done right We went to Colliery Smokehouse in Linton last night for a meal and it was spot on. The place has a good vibe, nice and modern with that smoky smell as soon as you walk in. Service was friendly and quick enough even though it seemed busy. The food was the star. The smoked meats were tender, full of flavour, and properly cooked low and slow like they should be. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh. We really enjoyed it – definitely one of the better places we've tried round here for BBQ. Will definitely go back. Good job to the team. Stephen Guy
