Another great meal at the Tartan Fox - fantastic and relaxed ambiance in a characteristic 400 year old pub. Service is faultless and the food innovative. Great to see real ale available at a reasonable price.

Booked a table at wax as we were staying next door they do 50% off on the offer wax Wednesdays we had the burger burgers and they were absolutely lovely. Service was good and the view is amazing. We have booked to go back whilst we’re still here.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful, having our 6 month old with us was no problem. Despite a smaller menu it was filled with a wide range of options and all the meals were well presented. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again when we are back in the area.

Steaks menu galore and superbly presented! Great Chefs & waitress service. Gets noisy to speak or understand the waitress specials list presentation at times though Overall a good experience and great choice of wines, beers & freshly made cocktails at hand!!

Visited early evening, only one other diner at that time. Food was served in an appropriate time and was hot. They was happy to change mash for chips and potatoes instead. We had the pie which was homemade and full of meat with delicious pastry.
