- SShirleyAsheville / Western North Carolina •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoEverything was great but would love to see some seasonal desserts like an apple crisp or carrot cake. It’s been the same offerings the last 3 times I’ve been there. After a great dinner diners would love a great dessert with a cup of coffee to cap off the night.More infoThe Front Porch - LeonardtownPrice: Moderate• Southern• Leonardtown•4.5

- PPamelaWashington, D.C. Area •10 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 22, 2024Island Hideaway has become my favorite restaurant in Solomons: the atmosphere is a mix of all the best elements from a marina seafood diner, your local neighborhood bar, and your favorite "special occasion"/white linen but still somehow casual fine dining independent restaurant. It is casual and welcoming, with an intimate feel even though its a busy place, and the food is highest quality ingredients prepared as if by a personal chef: everything is fresh and perfectly done. I have enjoyed their perfect chicken potpie in the winter, various seafood options in spring & summer, & tonight I had the seafood pasta dish with huge pieces of a variety of fresh seafood & the best alfredo sauce I've had in YEARS, perhaps ever. Love everything about this place, the staff, the chef/the cooks...I want to keep it hidden away ;)More infoThe Island HideawayPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Solomons•4.6
